Such an adorable book! It's so GOOD! Beautifully written, funny, meaningful, celebrating women. I really enjoyed every moment of this story and couldn't put it down! I love stories with strong women and Celia is one of them.
After thirty years of putting other peoples happiness before herself she has to be in charge of her own life, happiness and her own self.
And one day she discovered/remembered that she was fierce and strong, and full of passion. Cee-cee and her sisters Anna and Stephanie. I lo

I stayed up way past my bedtime to finish this book because I didn't want to put it down. I wanted to climb inside and live in Bluebird Bay with these characters. I seriously need some creamsicle cupcakes now!

This wasn't my usual read. But I am willing to try anything DGS writes. At first I was afraid it would be a sad book but it wasn't at all. It was so wonderful and entertaining. Happy and funny.

I loved seeing Celia take charge of her own happiness with some added sass. And her sister's supp

Holy guacamole that was a very confronting and emotional story, I will be honest and say I considered giving up after the first chapter as then ending of CeeCee's marriage hit some really personal notes for me but after getting my anxiety under control and taking a walk I came right back to Finding Tomorrow and I was so very glad I did.
3 sister's all facing life's trials and growing stronger even through that hardest times.
The more I read the more I fell in love with Cecile, Stephanie and Anna a

If you are drawn to stories with strong women, complex relationships and close knit communities, you will love Finding Tomorrow-a story of new beginnings and taking ownership of ones own happiness.
I finished this book in four hours, I seriously couldn’t put it down.
I was drawn to the setting as well as the cast of characters in this book! Bluebird Bay is a quaint coastal town where gossip may spread fast but people look out for one another.
Celia is an intelligent and capable woman who has spent

Something completely different and not the usual story from Denise. I find it refreshing. I also see it as a new audience that she will grab a hold of. When I started this book, I went in blind. I read the first chapter and there were a lot of similarities that happened in the book that happened in my life. I found myself reading it and relating to some of the issues that were going on. I could see my mom as the main character in the story because that is the same thing that happened between my ...more

Finding Tomorrow is the perfect summer beach read. Even though it has rich and complex characters that are going through life changes, it’s quick and easy to follow when you don’t have the time to read a novel in one sitting.

This first book sets up the scene of the Sullivan sisters who live in Bluebird Bay, a coastal town in Maine. The central story is of the eldest sister, Celia and the end of her thirty year marriage. We also get to see how she rebuilds her life and self esteem. Her sisters,

Some books resonate with your soul when you read it. This book was one of those.

I honestly read 2/3 of it with a smile on my face. I absolutely loved Cee-cee and her relationship with her younger sisters. The three women together are a formidable force. The characters are so well-developed, as is the plot.

I loved seeing Cee-cee’s growth and her strength in creating the life she wants. As a reader, her story gives hope that it’s never too late to have a happily ever after

Finding Tomorrow is such a heartwarmingly adorable read! It’s very well-written and I enjoyed the alternating POVs between the sisters. I love the female empowerment that takes place throughout the entire novel. Despite Cee-Cee and her sisters being middle-aged, I could still relate to pieces of all of them as a woman in her upper 20s. Plus, it was nice to read a story that shows you can still change your life for the better and have your HEA regardless of your age. I loved Cee-Cee, Anna, and St ...more

What an wonderful new series! Denise Grover Swank and Christine Gael did an amazing job with Finding Tomorrow. Celia Burrows perfect life falls apart when her husband tells her that he’s leaving her after thirty years of marriage. She has always put everyone else in her life first, but now it’s finally time to live out her own dreams. This book is a beautifully and seamlessly written, feel good story. It contains themes of sisterhood, family bonds, and new beginnings. I loved the small, close kn ...more

I absolutely can't wait for another trip back to Bluebird Bay! Finding Tomorrow will speak to you if you're a mom, a daughter, a sister, or a caregiver.
This is really a happy ending story about a woman who has lost it all only to find it again. Cee-Cee seems like your own sister. She's warm and caring, but her life turns to crap and she has to reinvent herself. You will love the little town and the characters in it. I'm rooting for happiness for each and every one of them.

Finding Tomorrow was truly an amazing read. Celia, Stephanie, and Anna are sisters but their lives are very different. I connected to all three on different levels. The drama and struggles they each faced were legitimately real. Celia facing divorce after thirty years of marriage. Stephanie struggling with the loss of her husband. Both hoping and trying to find a way to see a future for themselves. Anna never sticking around long enough to really depend on. Throw in their aging father with on se ...more

I just adored this book! It is the perfect read for lazy summer days by the pool or on the beach! It's a book to get lost in for a few hours and you find yourself smiling as you read.

The book follows the lives of three sisters, Celia, Stephanie and Anna as they find themselves a crossroads in their lives. They all had a plan on how life was going to go but soon find out that life has a way of throwing you a curveball. This is where the strength of the book lies. I loved reading the family and f

Everyone deserves a second chance at not only love but life. Cee-Cee gets divorced after 30 years and has a chance to live life on her terms. It’s a sweet book filled with love, second chances but most of all hope.

Not many people can or will write a book about a older woman. I was greatly surprise when I seen this book was co wrote with one of my favorite authors. As A older reader I sometimes find there isn't enough age appropriate books. I love living in the young life a book has to offer but sometimes find the story puts me into mom mode and I end up judging the book. I think it hit the mark on a lot of stuff a middle aged woman, wife and mom face. This book had just the right amount of emotions. I was ...more

Just what I needed!
This book was everything I could ask for and more! I hate to bring my personal life into it, but I’m currently trying to get over a divorce that was finalized three months ago and trying to deal with that and my social anxiety as I make a life for me and my three daughters. Even though I’m much younger than the main character, Celia, and we have a few other differences, it was so great seeing someone go through that and see her strength and struggles. It really is helping me w

I absolutely loved Finding Tomorrow. It was a wonderful to read about 3 very strong independent women facing real life struggles. I loved Cecile's journey to finding her strength and independence after her divorce. Stephanie's recovery from her husbands loss was heartbreaking and powerful at the same time. Anna is such a fun dynamic character. She is approaching changes of her own and I desperately want to see her processing and adapting to these changes. The residents of Bluebird Bay are all re ...more

I really loved this book. It is the story of 3 sisters with this book focusing on the oldest sister and her life. She has such a seemingly perfect life which is shattered one day. We follow along with her through betrayal, hurt, rebirth, strength and finding love again. The family dynamics are so true to life. As are the relationship ups and downs with grown children and aging parents. I especially loved that there were "everyday" people in the book. It was nice that everyone wasn't a millionair ...more

What a wonderful book about women in their 50s! I’m 45 and love reading everything Denise writes (because she does it so well) but it was a refreshing change to read about middle-aged women! In the beginning of the book, Celia is faced with the reality that her husband has left her. Her adult children and two sisters have all gone through (or are going through) struggles in their lives but together they get through them. I loved getting to know these characters and seeing how their strength and ...more

Absolutely incredible and empowering. We meet a group of sisters who are all going through their own struggles in life. They are an older group of woman, than I am not used to reading about. I loved that both authors were able to show that no matter what age you are, you still have a life to live and that it all doesn't end when you get married and start a family. Also, the message of never losing yourself is very important in this book, being true to yourself is the most important thing you can ...more

This book was an awesome treat for those that love a good story about family, finding yourself, and going for your dreams.

It seems that so many books now a days are about young adults that are just starting down the road of life and love, but what about those that think they have it all after years of living?

After years of marriage, children, and settling for whatever makes the masses happy CeeCee has a shock of a life time: her husband doesn’t want her any more. Top it off with drama from her

Finding Tomorrow was such a wonderful read. I really enjoyed it.

I love how strong Celia Burrows is and her relationship with her sisters. Celia has such a wonderful life, or so she thought. She has to over come what she never expected to over come in life. This book is so beautifully written and you will find yourself relating to the characters.

Finding Tomorrow really put a smile on my face and I highly recommend you read it.

I was so excited to see a new series that DGS had a hand in and it did not disappoint! The characters are so relatable. I love how Celia pulls herself together after a devastating event in life and goes for what makes her happy! She is a strong character. I like how real the relationship seems with the sisters. It is a little town that I would love to visit! I hope to see more books from Bluebird Bay!!

While this isn’t the usual story Denise writes she does it flawlessly along with her co-author Christine Gael. It is raw, emotional, heartfelt and very realistic. I loved the bond of the sisters and that they were there for each other no matter what, even when they were having a disagreement. The overall theme of picking yourself up, putting yourself first and following your dreams really hit home with me. The setting of Bluebird Bay is portrayed beautifully and makes me want to visit this littl ...more

This was a fantastic read! 3 sisters; one widowed, one divorced , and one wandering in life. They pull together in that sisterly love every girl wishes they have. They take steps to move on to the next part of their lives. It is an emotional ride of heartbreak, pride, determination, and lots of love. Everyone fears change in their lives but these strong women show the courage to do it anyway.

Denise Grover Swank and Christine Gael have written a wonderful story filled with heart, soul and lots of love. The town of Bluebird Bay is home to Celia, Anna and Stephanie, 3 adult sisters that have very different lives, interests and back stories.

I enjoyed every one of the sisters and liked watching them change and grow. There are some pretty solid home truths in this story, if you're open to seeing them. They aren't driven home but instead the truths are gotten across very gently as the sto

I wasn’t sure if this would be my kind of read or not, however, I’m the first to admit I will binge read anything written by this wonderful lady (DGS), who has provided me with hours of escapism with her books.
Going in with both eyes open, as a (cough) thirty something woman, I wondered if I would be able to relate to the lead character being in her 50’s. I could. The journey through her divorce, forging her own identity again, and the pursuit of her own long forgotten dreams, spurred me on to

Finding tomorrow is a wonderful, refreshing surprise. It was so nice to have main characters who were closer to my age. It seems most main characters are early 20’s to early 30’s in the majority of books. But those lucky enough to mature know that as we age we learn so much about life and ourselves. Anna, Cee-Cee, and Stephanie are three sisters who are tackling real life adult situations. CeeCee is finding that she has lost her true self in a long loveless marriage, Stephanie lost her husband i ...more
