Lately, I have been picking up mafia romance. Sadly, not all of them are memorable. Stolen by the Mob Boss is another example. The whole story is OK. I wish Miss Fox can add more jazz into the story.
I was expecting dark twisted full drama story. Instead, like many others mafia books I picked up, the plot is lukewarm. Ordinary. OK. So So.
Not entirely bad, but not memorable enough.

This was a good read. Roman is a hit man working for the Russian Bravta. Lucy who is a waitress sees something that she shouldn't have so he takes her to a hotel. Lucy is living with her grandmother because her parents were killed in a house fire years ago. She hears him talking on the phone a realized his next hit is the man she wants revenge for killing her parents she offers to help him. Roman is from Russia and he got started being a humanity man when his uncle's killed his family. While at a diner 3 men come in to kill them and Lucy ends up killing one of them. When she gets kidnapped he goes to rescue her because he realized he loves her and will do anything to get her back. Lucy also realizes that she loves him too these two had some hot chemistry that I liked. I also liked both of these characters Lucy was a strong heroine who was no push over Roman was a strong protective alpha male. This was a good read that I liked I love reading this author 's books. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book.

This audiobook is part of the plus catalogue and since I was too busy to read, I decided to give this a try.
BTW, I didn't realize this was the second book in the series, but I never had the feeling I was missing information

Lucy has had a rough life parents were killed in a fire thanks to some man she's been slowly wanting revenge but it wont happen. Until she accidently saw a murder in a ally. Roman also has a tragic pass..his whole family was killed and tortured.. and that mold him into being a hitman he had some rules no killing kids and woman and don't get attached. Sadly he did with time and he did end up kidnapping Lucy since she saw.. the banter between the two was funny and sometimes wired. When lucy finds out Romans next his is the guy she been wanting revenge on she wants in.
For a hitman he wasn't always dark or cold... i felt like he did had emotion.. and he fell hard but tried to deny it until something bad happened to Lucy.
Why no 4/5 stars.. the bad guy was a repeat.. it was someone the H knew. So that was a flop

Lucy was so worried about her grandmother, yet she could leave her grandma alone for weeks just to screw some random stranger who she witnessed murdering somebody… um. Let’s also not talk about the horrendous ending where nothing made sense. Mr X is also Konstantin who ordered a hit on himself to trick Roman. But why??? This was NEVER explained, and all of Konstantin’s men were unaware that Roman was on his way there when Konstantin threatened Roman to come right then… plus the whole point that Konstantin knew who Lucy was yet didn’t know who her parents were. NOTHING made any sense.

I just have two questions which confused me.
1. How can a woman who writes great at writing criminal novels doesn’t know how a tracking Device looks like. Especially because when even her grandma knows what it is?
2. Why did Mr. X put a hit on Constantin?
The way she behaved at the restaurant was childish and sometimes she was bitchy. Like the H though.
Btw the blurb ruined the suspense.

Nicole Fox is easily one of my favorite mafia authors! Her men are the perfect alpha male.
Roman and Lucy are both broken inside. When Roman was younger his uncles killed his parents and brothers. He ended up getting his revenge against them, but someone knew his secret and blackmailed him into becoming a hit man for him.
Lucy lost her parents in a house fire and the man responsible never paid. When Lucy first sees Roman, he’s killing a man. Knowing he can’t let her go, he kidnaps her. But when she overhears a phone call about his next hit, and he says a name that she knows, the name of the guy responsible for ruining her life, she wants to help him with this job.
I loved the chemistry between these two, they’re both hurting and have avoided relationships with other people. But they quickly let the walls down with each other and learn to trust each other.

This one has all the steamy intensity you could want in a mafia romance. Love it how fast paced it was. We all love a good slow burn but sometimes it’s nice to just get right to it. Looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

I found this book intriguing as the hero and heroine share such a similar background of violence having had a massive impact on their lives and how it affected each of them in different yet similar ways.
Roman looses his parents and siblings when they are murdered in their home in Russia, leaving Roman as the only surviving member of his family. Eventually he finds out that it was actually his own uncles who murdered his family. Roman kills his uncles to revenge the deaths of his family and goes on to become a hitman for hire.
Lucy loses her parents to a terrible fire, caused by bad wiring. The house was built by a crooked contractor who Lucy later finds out is part of the mob. Faulty wiring that he knew would probably fail one day and cause a fire. Lucy is lucky enough to have her grandmother take her in and raise her with love. That being said Lucy longs to see the man punished for what his negligence caused.
Lucy and Roman cross paths when Lucy stumbles across Roman killing a man he had been contracted to kill. To protect himself Roman kidnaps Lucy. When they finally get around to actually talking and comparing backgrounds they realize how much they do have in common. Lucy wants Roman to help her kill the man who cause her parents deaths.
Roman is then contracted to kill Abram Konstantin, the man who cause the deaths Lucy wants avenged. Since Lucy has spent a lot of time getting background information about Konstantin that helps Roman when it comes to putting his plan into action.
As the story builds towards its ending, there is a twist that none of the characters saw coming…and neither did I. Which made the story that much more intriguing.
I very much enjoyed the twists and turns that the story took. We already know if a hot Russian hit man is involved we will have some fairly steamy hot sex scenes and the story delivers them as well.

Hands down must read by Nicole Fox! An exciting thriller filled with twists and turns, as well as some steamy sex! I immediately fell in love with the characters and couldn't stop reading! Get cozy when you start to read because you won't be able to put it down!

Roman is a hit man and when Lucy witnesses his latest job he kidnaps her so he can decide what to do with her. He doesn't plan on killing her because he is against violence towards women and children, but he's also not one to leave witnesses to his crimes. Then Lucy overhears that his next job is to kill a man Lucy has wanted dead since she was a little girl. So she tries to talk Roman into letting her help him. This is a crazy, twisted steamy story that I highly recommend!

Oh My Goodness !! I LOVED this book ! I was hooked from the beginning...so much so I didn’t even want to stop to eat. With all the drama ~ suspense ~ romance ~ twists in the book it’s a definite MUST read !! The twist was a doozy of one and the sex scenes were intense !

Not for me!!
Ok!! Not what I expected!! This is not really a mafia book. Yes Roman is a hitman but it's not that dark feel you get with the Mafia. And the story line doesn't make sense. When Nana, the grandma was in the warehouse, how did she get in and on the second floor at that. It just doesn't add up. I wanted to stop reading it but I tough it out to the end.
