I have to admit, I wasn't expecting a sequel to "The Climb", but I am ecstatic that there is one and am looking forward to many more. "Love's Hope" is a heartwarming tale about the very real struggle many young people go through just to be themselves. It is very well written with characters that are easily identified with. I was fortunate to get a pre-release copy of this book. If you read and were moved by The Climb, you’ll find this companion story equally as moving.

Damien Benoit-Ledoux perfectly captures the hearts and minds of teenagers, especially those in the LGBTQ+ spectrum.

It is so difficult to be in the process of going through adolescence alone so add to it struggling to find acceptance as you figure out your attractions makes it even more fraught. This was a well written story of a young man who is finding himself among folks who don't always believe that love is love.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
