When Sebastian the crab has a bad day, nothing that Ariel and his other friends do seems to cheer him up, until he realizes how lucky he is to have such good friends.
My mom recently re-gave me the Little Mermaid Treasure Chest book collection she had been saving in the attic. I remember loving this book series as a kid. This is another one I loved a kid because I think this was the first time I was introduced to Scales the Dragon - who plays with marbles and loves muffins (of course he became a favorite character of mine). This one has a good message about tempers and being mad/upset. "You see? Bad days never last, but good friends last forever"
Sebastian was crabby because he was having a bad day, but I liked how thia story teaches that we should apologize when we hurt our friends for no reason 😊
