I'd give this one a 3.5, and I'm sure most of us can relate to its contents. Fly is happy just zipping around in the air and enjoying the wonder of being airborne. But various animals interrupt her flight to suggest that she's going about it the wrong way and should follow their instructions. Since she's an amenable sort, she does just that, but is disappointed every time. A very cute book about being yourself through the story of a fly. The fly is told by many different animals the "right" way to fly. I loved the high contrast illustrations. This would be a fun one-on-one story for kids to trace the flight paths with their fingers. It is a little on the longer side so it would be best as a lower elementary read aloud.
