Who is he? Peter Weiss.

Who found him? Random people on a Halloween night.

What does he do now? He’s on a harrowing quest to get his life back, as the world unravels to him.

He never asked for it. He never intended for any of this to happen, but now he found a purpose. As it happens, people join us in our quests, some a strong presence, some more discreet. Some stay with us for the whole journey, some fade without noticing. But some should never be forgotten. Or forgiven.

Peter is the type of person that has many habits and routines, though at the same time is able to embrace life’s unexpected events with an open mind and make the most out of the situation he is in. As the story unfolds, the many plot twists keeps you on your toes, unknowing how it will end until the very last page. It made me wonder: if your life would all of a sudden turn upside down, would you be a Peter?

I loved this novel. I found it creepy and very engaging.
I think most of the readers will be able to identify with Peter Weiss, the main character. On one hand his feelings of isolation and not belonging, and on the other hand his desire to have his wits and smart humor acknowledged by the others. His intelligence is doubled by the courage of leaving everything and everyone he knew behind in favor of a new life, one he feels he belongs and will be happy. What also appealed to me before anything else was the book cover. The dark style but also some elements of the artwork inspired me to believe the novel is thrilling but also subtly humorous. And that’s exactly what I found “inside”. Nothing predictable, though. I will definitely be reading the volumes to come.

Halloween was an awesome read, alternating action packed, speedy parts with most welcome passages to catch up. The author has an incredible eye for detail, there were so many moments when I felt I'm there with the main character, trying to figure out the situation. Found myself pushing through the pages just to see how things turn out.

Peter Weiss, the main character, is your average guy, but seeing him go through the transformations is extraordinary. There were some parts where I was sure I was onto what was about to happen, but watch out for those plot twists!

A great start for the writer, can’t wait to get my hands on his next books.

Couldn't stop reading.
The book is characterised by an intricate story,a succession of twists , full of action.
All characters are well formed . Peter Weiss the main character is like a Phoenix ...unbelievably
strong . After his life is turned upside down he finds the power to reconstruct himself .
The action takes you to different cities introduced you to many people whose characteristics are
very well drawn .
Given the ending I expect the story to continue .
This new writer reminds me of Guillaume Musso .

Highly recommended .

l like how the author throws you right in the middle of the action. I got caught right from the beginning, and tried to figure out what comes next, but couldn’t. I found it highly descriptive, the characters stand out, and watching Peter Weiss’ transformation was a treat. I did hold my breath at times, and the ending was unexpected. I think the shady characters are really well built, I pictured them, as they seem very real. Looking forward to read more from this writer.

I need more of Peter. He managed to make me constantly ask myself what would I have done had I lived his life and I think this is where the success lies in any good story: brining the readers right there with the characters. Can't wait for more!

What a pleasant reading! I couldn’t let it go and the ending took me by surprise. I definitely recommend it! Looking forward for Peter’s next move.

Despite his biblical name and his desire to become a modern carpenter, Peter is no saint. Instead of turning the other cheek he goes straight into vendetta mode. An engaging novel with surprising twists. If you are bored of your job, group of friends or future wife this book offers you the ‘obvious’ solution: move to Paris and become Robocop!
