I’m that rich girl whose silver spoon was snatched right out of her pretty mouth.
I lost everything.
Now my everyday reality includes sleeping in my car and dining on whatever clearance bin food I can purchase with spare change.
But my issues don’t end there.
My nightmare family is hot on my heels and demanding something I don’t have.
They won’t

WOW.....what an emotional ride from beginning to end! Taylor was the IT girl, rich, popular and on top of the world until it all came crumbling down. Kellan was the "Party Prince", all about girls, parties, girls until only one girl occupied his mind. Taylor is trying her best to survive life and Kellan wants to be her knight and friend while trying to hide his feelings for her. Can these two overcome the obstacles in their path? Will they admit how they feel for each other? This is the fifth bo ...more
Sissy's Romance Book Review
Clash by Cora Brent is book 4 in the Gentry Generations Series. This is the story of Kellan Gentry and Taylor Briggs. I haven't yet read the previous books so for me this was a standalone book.
Taylor and Kellan had a encounter a few years back but Taylor was a totally different person then. Now she has lost everything and is pretty much living in her car and looking for cheap food along with dogging what family she has. Kellan is a playboy but he also has a strong family with strong family ties

Another great Gentry book by a Cora Brent. This family is special and this series just works for me. This book in particular I found quite enjoyable. These two made a great match and I liked seeing their development throughout the book. I also loved seeing more of Kellan’s brother Thomas in this book and I can’t wait for his story next.

This was an amazing read that I had finished quickly! I have been waiting for Kellan's story and I was not disappointed in the least. Kellan and Taylor had a slow burn relationship that was kind of second chance after their one night hook up as well as a friends to lovers feel since when they reunited they did so as friends. I felt that both characters were well written for the circumstances that they found themselves in throughout this book as Taylor starts out homeless and has issues with her ...more

It was ok. I can not understand not reporting those creeps of siblings of hers to the police.
I know the books require some sort of angst for the Gentry character, but did Thomas really deserve that?!

Waiting for Thomas

I always love a another Gentry story and Kellen didn't disappoint.
If by some chance you've passed this series , start at the beginning with Cord ( Draw ) . Make your way through the generations until your all caught up like me, waiting for another installment in this family I can't get enough of.

Have you read any of the Gentry books? Are you a die hard fan like I am? Ugh if not I HIGHLY recommend you check them all out. Do you need to read them to follow this story? Nope, not at all. It holds it own with its beautiful telling. OMG I will admit, I have been struggling the last two days, trying to articulate all that I love about this book. So here goes...

Kellan is part of the wonderful Gentry clan. Thinking about him makes my heart happy. He truly is one of the good guys. How

Holy moly. I haven’t read a book that genuinely made my heart race in years. Not even kidding, my watch counted it as exercise. We get to catch up with the Gentry brothers (lots more of Chase, which is great because he’s my favorite) and Deck, and the Gentry generations from the previous books.

This book focuses on Kellan (Stephanie and Chase’s middle son) and Taylor. Taylor was a spoiled rich girl who’s life was reversed in a split second, while Kellan had the privilege of growing up

The Gentry boys continue to be some of the greatest book boyfriends ever written. We've come a long way from the triplets, but this gene pool holds STRONG.

Kellan is a genuine nice guy. Good person, handsome and smart. How could you not fall in love with him? Any of them for that matter. Taylor has been handed a crap sandwich by life and is having a TOUGH time. Her family is garbage, she's homeless and just struggling. Their one-time hookup past leaves the door open for a friendship

Clash Ups the Game

Clash takes the Gentry Generations series to a whole new level. Kellan and Taylor's story was fresh and unpredictable in the best of ways. Kellan Gentry has a personality to match his father's that made me smile. Taylor's struggles moved me to sadness while subtly raising awareness of things we humans so often choose to ignore. Rounding out this book, the well developed and beloved characters, that make up the Gentry clan, gave me the warm sense of family that has been the hea

Clash is a book from the Gentry Generations series by Cora Brent. It's a stand alone, but if you are new to her, check out the other books in the series. Good reading plus characters appear across the books. The author puts us through a wide variety of emotions with this couple. Taylor and Kellan met years ago, but her life has changed dramatically since then. While life hasn't been good to her, it's actually made her a better person. When Kellan and Taylor come back into each others life, it's ...more

Another fantastic read by Cora Brent. I absolutely love this series and this addition dies not disappoint! A slow burn, friends to lovers storyline that will grab you from the beginning to end. Kellan and Taylor’s chemistry sizzles. Kellan is sexy and so swoon worthy and Taylor finds what she didn’t realize she needed. A definite must read!

Just when you think it can’t get any better. Pffft.... I am so in love with everything Gentry. Chase has the best sons ever. Derek’s book was amazing and Kellans is PERFECT now we need Thomas please. The love in this book took breath. Ahhh I’m no good at reviews so excuse me while I go read Clash again!
Taylor Briggs is just trying to make it day by day. After losing everything that’s all she can do now. Kellan Gentry is one of Chase and Stephanie Gentry’s sons and a heartbreaker at that. They might of met at a party two years ago but Taylor is not the same girl from that night. She has many secrets...he wants to figure those secrets out. Can these two find a way to help each other? This was another fabulous addition to the Gentry Clan and a very enjoyable book. I’m crushing hard on Kellan!! A ...more

This is my fave storyline yet of Generations! Oh my god i lurrrved it!

Kellan is a party boy. Popular and handsome he's never short of a bed partner. He's just watched his big brother fall in love and is now living with his younger brother. His life is pretty good!

Taylor is coming to the end of her rope. Her family are making it pretty hard for her. Her sister, brother in law and brother are all harrassing her constantly after her fathers death. Shes now homeless, penniless, hungry and alone. ...more

What a fantastic story!! This was my first read by this author, and will definitely not be the last!!

In this book we are introduced to Taylor, who used to be the uber rich IT girl with the attitude to match, but ever since her father was charged with embezzlement and lost all their money, and walked in on her father shooting himself, she is not the same girl she used to be. Having to grow up quickly, and with the rest of her 'family' members certain that their dad gave her the last bit of his m

Clash is a part of the Gentry Generations spin-off by Cora Brent. Following the story of Kellan Gentry and Taylor Briggs, we get a deep dive into their past and the pain that comes along with it. From page one, you can tell that Kellan is a Gentry, ridiculously hot, personality for days, and a heart of gold. In case you didn’t know, I am a bit in love with the Gentry’s, I mean I definitely wouldn’t mind joining their family.

Taylor has been through some shit, like the kind of things that could r

Holy heck explanation! Clash was an amazing story. I really enjoyed the mystery and the story along with the background for the characters. It was an interesting story and really made me want to dive in and read the stories that came before period this is the standalone novel and I did not feel like they missed anything by not reading the others first.

A part of this pic was very interesting. The two characters had history, but they hadn't been together in a while. I really liked the

If I could give this book more stars I would.
Clash was one of these stories that had me at every emotion known to man. Kellen Gentry is your typical party boy. A different girl every time with no repeats. That's until Taylor Briggs falls face first in front of him and Chase inside the food place they're dining in. Being the gentlemen that Kellen is, he looks after Taylor, only for her to do what she did to him two years ago and give him the cold shoulder. This time, Kellen isn't giving up on he

I am a HUGE fan of Cora Brent and the Gentry family. These books are so raw and emotional but also so fully of heart. She knows exactly how to keep a reader interested and heavily invested in the characters. I am SO excited each time I see that a new book is coming out to keep up with this wonderful, huge family.

Now on to CLASH, my gosh Kellan Gentry is absolutely the swoon worthy hottie that you would hope to find in a romance novel. He is a bit cocky, not horribly, but has great charisma and

Gah!! I Love The Gentrys.

If there's one thing guaranteed to put a smile on my face it's catching up with the Gentry World. I always become absorbed in each story, they're books that strengthen my love for reading.

I love this crazy bunch with a passion, they're not perfect by any means but thats what makes them special, for me..they're real and it's why I adore them.

Clash is book five in the Gentry Generations series and can be read as total standalone, but I promise you, you will fall in love with the unruly Gentrys and their loved ones and start at the beginning.
I have a very set preference of the original Gentry boys. Creed is my favorite, Chase and Deck are second, cord and the rest are after that. As such, I am always waiting for Creed’s boy to get his own story, but I take Chase’s as consolation pr

WOW, what a story. In true Gentry fashion!! Kellan Gentry, who is the middle son of Chase’s offspring, finds his true love. Kellan is so much his father’s son that the interaction with him and his brothers reminds me so much of his father Chase with his brothers. Kellan, the Party Prince, has no desire to settle down. Taylor has been through the wringer from her fall from grace socially, financially, and emotionally but she manages to keep her pride and strength intact. Until... She needs help.. ...more

Taylor appeared to be living the perfect life as she came from a privileged background that included both wealth and social standing until her life came crashing down around her. She now exists on the opposite of the spectrum where the people who were her friends wants nothing to do with her, all she has is a car which she considers her home and people from her past are tracking her down and they don’t care who gets hurt in the process.

Kellan had a reputation for too much fun in the past but he

I'm a huge fan of insta-love , grunge era flannel, my vintage Kenmore sewing machine, embroidered dishcloths and absolutely everything that has to do with 1980s pop culture (i.e. leg warmers, scrunchies, big hair, early Madonna, boom boxes, wood paneled walls, stonewash jeans, etc).

If you believe in Happily Ever After and improbable love stories, chances are I'll love you too!!
