A complete break away from what Mark normally writes, but as a naturally talented writer this is no issue.
Beth is pregnant for the 4th time after 3 miscarriages and is looking forward to announcing the news at Christmas, everything is going fine until she arrives home one evening to find her dreamcatcher burnt and the wreath from her dead sisters grave hung above her bed, a knife through her pillow.
So begins a journey of psychological torment, leaving Beth to question everything she's ever kno

Wow, another great read from this brilliant author, I couldn't read this book fast enough. How could someone try to ruin the lives of such a lovely couple? when all they wanted was a happy family life with a child of their own to love. Beth was horrified when she realised that someone hated her enough to invade her home and do unspeakable things which brought back memories of the horrifying death of her sister. Her husband David tried to comfort her but she seemed to be relying more and more on ...more

Mark Tilbury delivers the most evil of characters, and Torment is no exception, apart from the fact in this story the malefactor is hidden to us for the largest part of the book and not revealed to the victim until near the end.
Beth Cruickshank, an inoffensive librarian, who because of her sweet nature doesn't seem to have ever had an enemy in the world becomes subject to a campaign of terror from somebody who is feeding on her bad memories of when her sister was tragically killed on a zebra cro

Beth and David are a happily married couple who long for a child, when they suddenly become the victims of a campaign of terror. Who could possibly hate them so much? Neither of them have any obvious enemies but somebody has it in for them and bad things are happening. Now their loving relationship is under serious threat. I devoured this book in almost one sitting as I needed the answer! This is yet another winning read from Mark Tilbury. It will keep you reading past your bedtime.

Beth and Dave are married and trying for a baby. Unfortunately, Beth has had 3 miscarriages and has found out she is pregnant again. Sinister things start happening in the house and Beth turns not to her husband but her friend Kim for support. Can Beth cope with all the stress and keep her much longed for baby? Will Beth and Dave keep their marriage alive with all the stress? All is definitely not as it seems.
This book had me hooked from the start. A great plot which is full of suspense and has

Mark lives in a small village in the lovely county of Cumbria, although his books are set in Oxfordshire where he was born and raised.

After serving in the Royal Navy and raising his two daughters after being widowed, Mark finally took the plunge and self-published two books on Amazon, The Revelation Room and The Eyes of the Accused.

He's always had a keen interest in writing, and is extremely pro
