This was a different book for me and as much as I tried, I just couldn't get myself to fall in love with it. I don't know what it was, really. But due to some strange reason, the book bored me. It doesn't usually happen with me and fantasy because that's one of my favourite books. So I'm still very confused as to why I didn't like it. Nonetheless, here is my (short) review of the book:
The story starts with Clementine, a girl who lives alone and is then kidnapped after having being mistaken for someone else. It gets worse because then, when the people who rescue her take her to this kingdom that she had never even heard of. And she can't leave it now because anyone who enters cannot go lest they tell of its existence to the humans. And it's, well, different because she misses her normal life. Everything is different and strange here. There are different "beings" and there are no humans and there is magic. She is horrified. She just wants to go home.
I guess that was the first moment when I got a little turned off by the story. So basically, the plot is that she cannot go home, despite the presence of magic. Now generally, when a being finds out about magic, the people keeping it safe have a way to ensure no one else can find out about it, that this person just forgets it. There are so many ways to do that. Spells, drinks, food and what not. But here, it seemed the author just kept Clementine here because it was convenient for her. I mean, even Alice had a way home!
Next, I couldn't even connect with the characters. It felt as if everything happened all at once and there were things missing. It lacked a little character development, too. I mean, forget everything else, I don't think anyone would behave the way Clementine reacted in her position. It was stupid and not realistic at all.
So I guess what I am saying is that the three stars are me being generous. I don't think I appreciated the time I spent reading this book, despite my excitement in the beginning.

The premise of this story is interesting – a young woman is unwillingly pulled into the realm of angels and demons. Clementine never knew about this magical world, and all she wants is to return home. According to the angels who saved and sheltered her, she cannot go home because demons are now aware of her and will hunt her. Nevertheless, the stubborn Clementine tries to figure out a way to return to her life before angels.
Clementine begins training with the mysterious Marcius and she grows closer to Ignacious, the future king. Both of these powerful angels are possible love interests for Clementine. Personally, I’m team Marcius. He is ornery and sarcastic, and he doesn’t quite fit in with everyone else. He is his own man, and he respects Clementine for being a strong woman. Plus, he’s a hot angel.
Ignacious is charismatic and charming. Talented, smart, and a leader, Ignacious has many character traits that make him appealing, but there is something about him that makes me uncertain. Is he being honest with Clementine, or are his decisions motivated by selfishness? I’m not sure.
I wanted to know more about these characters – they were interesting and unique but sometimes lacked definition. The parts of the story I liked best revolved around Clementine growing closer to the angels in the palace. Sharing her love of music with Ignacious, sparring with Marcius, and spending time with Elsie were the high points of the novel.
I was also intrigued by the mystical world of angels and demons that the author created, However, I wish the author had gone into more depth with the setting. This was a missed opportunity, in my opinion. Since this is the first book in the series, I am hopeful that the angel/demon world will be further explored in subsequent books.

A classic fight between angels and demons, with a human caught in the middle, sounded promising. And the premise was solid, but it lacked in execution. Clementine behaved unrealistic and the other characters didn't appear "finished". The dialogues felt forced and repetitive. Some things were left unexplained, or explained in a way I didn't understand. The book also had some spelling errors. Although it ended in some kind of cliffhanger I don't feel the need to read the next book, I'm afraid.

The reader is introduced to a kingdom made up of angelic beings and other new creatures with Clementine as the only human - which kind of makes me think of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. The story about the kingdom and the ruling family was kept me reading to the end. The one thing I felt lacking in this story is the character development esp with Marcius and Ignacius. I feel like this is the 1st book in a series or at least I hope it is. The way it ended felt like there is going to be another one. I received a digital copy of this book from BookSirens, in exchange for a fair and honest review. Well, the premise of this book really checked a lot of boxes for me. An epic fantasy that at its heart centers around the fight between Angels vs Demons, mysterious warrior Angels, and a stronger than she thinks human that is dragged into the realm of said warrior Angels.
As much as I liked the idea of this story, I didn’t connect with the execution of it. The dialogue between the characters didn’t seem to flow and it didn’t feel natural. I felt like I missed something along the way. I even found myself on more than one occasion going back a few pages to see if I indeed miss something. I would have loved to have more details, imagery, and explanations- the story begins, and it feels like you are in the middle. There were two possible love interests for the protagonist, Clementine, yet both of these bad boy warrior Angels were kind of boring and it seemed liked she had absolutely no chemistry between either of them. I just wanted way more from this story. Also, sidebar- still a little upset that she left her dog- am I really the only one?
I did like the pacing of this book. It was a quick easy read to get lost in. I liked the supporting cast of characters more than I liked the main three characters in the book. They seemed to have more personality. I thought the author really humanized the Angels. I mean, they were odd and different but yet in so many ways the didn’t feel like the surreal beings that Angels would be. I want to see where this story goes because the book did end on a great cliffhanger.

2.5 kinda...
I'm sorry but I didn't like this book... ok, it started pretty well, I was curious about this fight between Angels and Demons but I didn't like how it was executed.
During the reading I was bored sometimes, it was like there was a lack of explanation. It seems to me that something was missing.
I couldn’t empathize with the characters. I would have loved to have more details, imagery, and explanations.
I received this free eARC novel from BookSirens and the author. This is my honest review.
I got hooked from the synopsis and was really excited about this book, but was disappointed when I wasn't able to connect with the story or characters. I felt like the story jerked around and didn't have enough detailed information to keep me fully emerged and engaged in this world. The characters conversations were stilted and awkward too. I really wanted to like it but it just wasn't meant to be for me. I'm sure other readers will be able to comment better than I did though.
I chose this book based on its' synopsis. Unfortunately, the book didn't hold up to the promise of it's blurb. It blurred over facts/events/scene building that was needed to snare the reader and keep us interested. It also jumped around a lot, so that I felt like I was reading independent paragraphs instead of one, complete story. I gave it three stars, because it could have been so much better than it was.
I received this ARC from Book Sirens in return for a fair and impartial review.
In this story we are introduced to Clementine, a regular girl who ends up being introduced to a hidden Kingdom with a few problems. The story takes us to a hidden world of demons and angels but with a different take then the usual. It had the feel of a thriller, mystery, with a dash of the paranormal. It was interesting and kept me reading to the end to see what secrets would be revealed next that are slowly hinted at from the beginning. The characters were both interesting and harsh and kept me guessing. Just a good story from a new author.
I read this book quickly in one day. Completely flew through it. I can honestly say that while it was good, I was bored through most of it. The characters were interesting and it did have an interesting premise, I just found myself bored while reading through the book.

It was wonderful and amazing but I have my questions so I just hope it is not a stand alone and be a part of a series even though it is not yet declared...
Kingdom Untold was a story about an ordinary girl thrust into the world of Angels and Demons. Kept at the Angel's palace she finds that as a human she is unwelcome and begins to train to fight with Marcius.
I really enjoyed this book, it was easy to read fantasy with a thread of romance. The book finishes on note that left me wanting to read more and I can't wait to read the next instalment.

I recived a free copy of Kingdom :Untold by Karo Skibinska for a honest review.. These are my thoughts.
First let me start with I only read 41 pages!! BECAUSE I just could not get into the book... The cover is amazing and the about this book was what made me decide to read it. But I just didn't like the authors writing style the book is wrote in the third person, there is next to no dialogue in the first chapter which is good sometimes but I found in this case it rambled on, I also was confused when she meet the stranger it went from her running into him, to them running all the sudden. No she felt like she was being followed or maybe if ther was chasing him the author could have explained it a little more.
I do think this book had great potential and maybe with some fixes it could be a 5 star book, but sadly for me and I am usually good at determining good books from the about was just a 2 star book..
I was really excited for this book when I read the synopsis. The idea of the story was great. I love myself a good fantasy adventure every now and then. Clementine is just your average girl. Or so she thought. When she meets a stranger out on a walk with her dog, her whole life is turned upside down. She is thrown into a world where Angels and Demons exist, where war is a real threat and where she herself is forced to face her own dark past and conflicted emotions. I really enjoyed the story and the characters in it. Could it have been better? Of course. There were parts of the story that I felt were being brushed over a little and where I would have liked more detail to make the story more engaging. Nevertheless, I finished the book, itching to know how the rest of the story plays out. I received a copy of this book in exchange for a voluntary review.

Delivering on the promises it’s synopsis sets, Kingdom weaves a tale of intrigue and mystery. Delving into the story of Angelic beings, and other such creatures, were presented with the struggles of one human to co-exist and in some terms survive.
Clementine, as a uniquely written MC, is dynamic and diverse, traversing the thin lines of mystique, whilst being the epitome of an arc which keeps the reader hooked throughout.
