I am going to start out with the things I didn't like. Most of all it was the troupes, a sword that must be recovered, in this story the blade is broken and must be put back together to awaken the power of the Dark Lord who cast his essence into the blade. Second was the lack of descriptions of the land in which they journey.
But. . , . I got past that because otherwise the story is more unique and less generic. I understand that there is a lot of following a set pattern lately, like a script.

Children of the cursed by A.E.Stanfill is an adventure, action-packed, brilliant novel to read.

The adventure starts in the world of Todrain, where evil is growing every day. And there are Gawain and Caine two young brave lads who train every day to become knights. The kingdom is in turmoil, and dark forces have risen. The king's most trusted and loyal knight Alistair has fallen to evil. How power and ego drive good and evil is the plot.

Gripping, fast-paced, and incredibly written makes this book

After reading this book, I wanted to write and post this review to share my honest experiences toward the story. An intriguing high fantasy adventure, starting with the story of Gawain and Caine, two young men who are training to be knights. With unique characters with so much depth, an intriguing and exciting storyline, and a task that seems impossible, this was such an enjoyable read. All the characters were great with creative backstories and amazing and relatable relationships with each ...more

I enjoyed so much about this novel, I love the world that A.E. Stanfill has created for us.

This one is action packed. It will 'keep you on the edge of your seat, show you the value of friendship and you will root for the characters til the very end.

These characters each have their own personalities and depth to them. None of them felt one-dimensional or forced, they all shined through as individuals.

A Wonderful Fantasy that I can't get enough of.
