The title says it all - “A Capsule a history and Guide”. A concise history of Georgetown, Colorado, regional mining and railroad history, construction of the original Georgetown Loop Railroad in 1884. The Georgetown Loop Historic Park was designated in 1959 beginning the redevelopment of the railroad, Lebanon Mine Complex and reconstruction of the High Bridge with dedication in 1984.
