Still love the format of these books for early readers. Ben and Becky have an adventure when they look for a pet. Kid didn’t like the mall guard and I didn’t like that the dad told them to negotiate to pick a pet but ended up just picking one for them. Other than that, it was a fun book.

The kid was disappointed on this one compared to the haunted house one. Agree so 3.5 ⭐️
