The leads had great chemistry but the heroine was totally useless.
I could understand that she had no powers but it looked like even her common sense vanished with her powers.
Not sure how she was a "wise" witch when she could not do anything properly and always had to be rescued by the hero.
This was really counterproductive because her spell could be broken by "rare love" but I could not understand what made the hero fall in love with her(it looked only like lust for the entire book).
Started skimming through the book after 50% and somehow finished it.
The only scene worthwhile was the dining room scene where one clash led to domino effect on all dinner guests.

This is the 2nd of a trilogy and my favorite. Although Sarina is more helpless and Dagon is more arrogant than I remembered. The supporting characters are great.

The first Donna Flecther's I read. I like Dagon... a man who know what he wants. I'll search another book in the series
