Addict. Drunk. Selfish. Gifted.

Titles define me.
Titles bring people to me. Good, bad, and ugly.
I’ve never thought much about titles. They have always been part of me.

Frigid. Introvert. Loner. Bookworm.
Titles were given to me.
Titles that have staying power.

They have always been there, in the back of my mind, screaming at me--making me miserable.

I wanted to like this book a lot more than I did.
I'm going to cut to the chase, I didn't like Beaumont.
He was a recovering alcoholic, womanizer, rock star.
Sooo in theory I should have loved him. EXCEPT for
the fact I didn't feel the chemistry between him and
doormat, I mean Hutton. They were "in love and dating"
for a year. He's like yeah, I'm not into this, and we
don't see him for 10 more years. Now, when he
speaks to Hutton about his feelings for her, they
are sweet, and romantic and you are thinking that
he really loves her. But then, he speaks to his
friends and is like "yeah, I'm going to give this a go".
I didn't believe this story and I don't want to
read about an infantile hero who doesn't really
know what or who he wants.

Wow ! What a great heart felt read that was filled with a ton of emotion and real life struggles.

We really are loving the characters in this series and we loved that we finally got to read about the mysterious Beaumont as he had us already intrigued from the first time meeting him and we loved him even more so this time around but, Hutton on the other hand took a little bit of warming up to not that she wasn't beautiful and kind and caring it was just that she seemed so fragile and had us wondering if she would be capable or even up to the task of loving a man such as Beau who was always in the limelight and so famous and all the baggage that comes with loving a man with said status.

I loved the fierceness and the protectiveness of Beaumont's friends they were truly his family and always had his back even the women of the men he called family.

I love a story when its about second chances because for Hutton she was only living a half a life without the man she gave her heart away to all those years ago and then you have Beau even though he broke her heart all those years ago has never forgotten her and was always in his thoughts.

This was such a sweet and endearing read and we loved that Beau stuck to his guns and made changes to his health and sobriety and they were the most important things to keeping him on track other than winning back the love of his life.

"He made us so proud as he was such a good man at heart but, got a little bit lost for a bit."

Although the story started out sad we think that Beaumont made the right choice at the time as he would have never been able to give Hutton all of himself and I think he needed to go through all that he did to become the man that Hutton deserved and the man that he to wanted to be all along.

We loved the chemistry between Hutton and Beau it was sweet and hot and all so romantic.

"This was such a beautiful story and we loved it from beginning to end!"

I was rather surprised at how well I liked this story. I thought it was fairly honest. I'm not a huge fan of "manwhore while the girl is pretty dedicated to his memory" kind of thing so one star off.

The rest is pretty good. Oh, it's nothing really new in rockstar romance but well written nonethess. I haven't read any of the other in the series but the support cast here seem interesting found in this story, yet I don't feel overwhelmed with too many outside characters.

I loved the main character's names. Hutton is unusual as is Beaumont. I liked their characters.

Nice read.

This is my least favourite of the series so far and I probably wouldn't have read it if I wasn't currently binging the series. But it is 100% it's not the book it's me. And I am almost glad that the things I like least were all in this book so going forward the next two books should be back to me loving.

First up I need to say that I am not a fan of rockstar romance, it's just not my thing. I actively avoid them except for a few exceptions. I also don't go out of my way to read second chance romance. Add in an alcoholic and the unholy trifecta is complete. So, I went into this initially not knowing who's book it was. Once I knew it was Beaumont's I knew we were getting two of those three, but I persevered.

Meeting Hutton, and realising her history with Beaumont I was bummed. And I actually struggled a little to read the book. But I'm no quitter so I fought through. I liked Hutton. I didn't like Beaumont. He was a selfish acehole and I don't feel like he ever really deserved Hutton. It was all circumstantial and all about him and his needs. Which sucked because after the last two books and how amazing those guys were, I wanted him to be the guy who walked through fire for his second chance, and he just didn't.

But thankfully we now have Louis who is awesome and Ford who I am already a little in like with. So, I am going to grab them on KU and hope they wash the angry I'm feeling from Beaumont out of me.

description
I am adoring the Unfit Hero series by Hayley Faiman!

From the previous books you would never know that rock star Beaumont was hiding an ugly secret. You knew he was a great friend to the other men and popped in and out of Texas. But when he finally hits rock bottom his dirty secret is there for public consumption. Climbing out from under an addiction will either make or break Beaumont.

Hutton is a woman that can't seem to find love after having her heart shattered by a stupid stupid man. And 10 years later she runs into that stupid stupid man, yep you guessed it Beaumont.

This was such a great story. I am completely enthralled with Beaumont and he did shatter Hutton but I am giving him a gentle butt kicking because he was young and not mentally good for Hutton at the time. But after they are reunited? Nothing but love for him. He was facing his demons and was honest with Hutton every step of the way. Sure the truth hurts at times but he made her a promise and he held to it.

I can understand Hutton having reservations because she did get burned bad and she never got the closure she needed in regards to Beaumont but I was getting exhausted with her crying and having to be reassured all the time. Maybe she felt that way cause they did not have much time to reconnect before life got in the way. There was not enough time to build that trust. But she was stronger than she realized. She needed to trust HER heart first.

Hayley Faiman is a must read for me. Doesn't matter if it is bikers, made men, or men that are getting a chance at personal redemption, I devour every story!

I love Hayley Faimon, her books are raw and gritty and filled with so much realness and super hot scenes. This is a bit different from her MC reads and is a Second Chance romance, but the typical style of her writing is the same, which I was happy to see and enjoyed reading this book.

Beaumont and Hutton had a whirlwind 'romance' for a year before he just up and left to be signed by a big time label. FF 9 years later and Hutton has not gotten over the heartbreak of her first love and Beaumont is trying to figure out WHO he is after going to rehab. Once he sees Hutton again that is all HE wrote, he wants her back, big time.

All in all, if you like raw and gritty emotional second chance romances with a sweet innocent leading lady and a jaded rock star, Fraud is definitely your type of book! I liked the twists and turns in it as well as the heat between the characters, but it moved a bit too fast for me which is why I give this a solid 4 outta 5 stars!

PS: Thank you to Hayley Faiman and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for allowing me an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly!

Emotional, heartfelt & angsty. This book was amazing. It had heartbreak, betrayals, lies, & some really hot sexy scenes. Not gonna lie & say I loved Beau right away, I didn’t. He had a lot to prove. I despised his behavior & how he treated Hutton in the beginning. He was afraid of abandonment because of his mother & he held anger because of his ex, & because of those two things he completely broke Hutton’s heart. He admitted to only using her for sex & to pass the time for a year, & he didn’t want some hometown girl holding onto his shirttails, knowing all along she was in love w/him. But then 9 years later he says she never left his thoughts, it had only been her. He was so adamant that she was it & he wasn’t going to let her go again. He really had my head spinning. But as the book went on you could feel his devotion to himself & her. He did everything to keep himself clean & loyal. I loved these two together & how good they were. I especially loved when those who were supposed to have Beau’s best interest at heart proved they really didn’t & were only out for themselves & threatened his future w/Hutton, Beau got rid of them all!

Hayley Faiman did not disappoint at all with Fraud.

Beaumont left Hutton heart broken to follow his dreams. Now nine years later he’s back in town, and all the feelings come crashing back. Can they get pass the trust and betrayal issues that Hutton has?

Beaumont was everything, and you can’t help but love him. Hutton at times I wanted to slap her, but you end up loving her as well.

Hayley makes you hate the characters, but she has a way of making you love them! Fraud is worth way more than 5 stars! If you haven’t already one click

When I think of fraud, Beaumont does not come to mind. He is no way the definition of this word but in his eyes he is. He had problems but in the world of rock and roll who doesn't? He needed home and home is really where the heart is! He started to face his demons but in order for his band and name to stay in tact he needed to go back home. Home to where his heart will always be but also the one he hurt the most.

Hutton lives to make people beautiful and she does a good job at it. She never got over the one person who had her heart. The past always has a way of showing it's "ugly" head and she was in for a rude awakening. Life as she knew was about to take a change and odds are there's going to better and worst!

This story of a past, a present and a future is great for these two characters. You are hoping that things go well but the past always shows up and you think, it's not going to work. This will not end well but then they touch and all those thoughts go away.

This was a great story of a past that only make the future better.

I have enjoyed this series so far but this is my favorite of the series! Beau and Hutton chemistry together had me fanning myself. I really am a sucker for second chance romance and this one didn't disappoint. I have been curious about Beau background for a couple books now. Seeing how he struggled a bit in the limelight and how he tried not showing this to his friends really had me liking him even more. I also love how Hayley sets up the rest of the characters along the way! I'm so excited for more.

Beaumont and Hutton had a romance for a year and then Beaumont left to become a rock star. Hutton had a difficult time moving on after he left. Now it is nine years later, Beaumont is back after a time in rehab and getting his life together. He wants a second chance with Hutton, the woman he's never forgotten through it all. Will Hutton be able to give Beaumont a chance? A recommended read.

Rezension

Buchname: Fraud: Der Weg zurück zur Liebe (Außergewöhnliche Helden 3)
Autor: Hayley Faiman
Seiten: 370 (Print)
Fromat: als Ebook erhältlich
Verlag: ‎ Plaisir d'Amour Verlag (17. Februar 2023)
Sterne: 4

Cover:

Fraud is the third book in the Unfit Hero series. This time it is Hutton Baker and Beaumont Griffin’s story. Second chance romance.

So this is when I am thankful that I have Killer on my Kindle ready for me to read. I think the ending of Fraud is kind of a soft cliffie in the way you know that all will be good but deed wasn’t completed yet. Yes that is vague, deliberately so.

I have zipped through this series because it has been that good! I have wanted to read each and every book one right after the other.

I am glad to have finally gotten to Beaumont’s story. He knew Hutton from 9 years ago and he had walked away for his career. A lot has happened in the last 9 years. He became an addict and he has cleaned himself up. I think that Hayley Faiman described him well.

"Addict. Drunk. Selfish. Gifted."

Although he hasn’t been too selfish in the last bit because he came out to help his friends in the previous books. Only Hutton didn’t know he was back in town.

Beaumont is going back to his roots to play in the little towns and one of those little towns is where it all started for him.

I love it when we get to know the characters more from the previous books. And we do get to know them more too.

I definitely have enjoyed this series and this book. I can’t wait to get started reading Killer the 4th book in the Unfit Heroes Series. Which I will be starting now!!!

Oh I got Fraud from Kindle Unlimited.

Amazing

Omg I loved Beau and Hutton's story. I was drawn in and couldn't put this book down. Beau realized he couldn't be what Hutton needed and risked everything to fix himself to be a better man. After almost a decade the sparks between them were just as strong. I'm so happy for them and can't wait to see who's the next to fall in love.

Am enjoying this series. These five men are solid gold to the women in their lives. We had cousins Dylan and Wyatt, now their friend Beaumont.

This one, like the 1st two books had the feels, and I'm sure Ford & Louis will too.

I'll be watching out for Them!

Beaumont Griffin is one of the most endearing hero’s thus far. His journey is rocky and he fights his own demons. His love story with Hutton isn’t sweet, it’s messy and takes many twists and turns. Beau is not the typical Alpha Male that Faiman usually favors. Instead, he is a man trying to get his life on track so he can be better. Read this! The story is wonderful and you will fall in love with Beaumont and Hutton.

Ten years ago Hutton Baker fell for Beaumont Griffin after watching him perform on stage but one year later he broke her heart with no regrets. Now she still battles with not being able to get over him but has opened her own hairdressing salon and is trying to move on with her life.

Beaumont Griffin once had his heart broken by his ex Chelle and vowed to never let another woman into his heart the way that she was and leaving Hutton was always part of the plan as he knew he would make it big one day. He has battled addiction since leaving his home town and moved to LA for a chance to have his music heard by everyone. Yet slowly his life began to unravel and he finds himself getting out of rehab again and his music label wants him to slow down and reinvent himself.

When Beau and Hutton find themselves face to face again they must deal with the hurt that Beau caused. When Beau asks for another chance with Hutton will she give it to him and will she be willing to put up with the ghosts of his past still having a hold over him?

This was a great book about overcoming the past and letting love in.

My heart broke for Hutton at the beginning of the book as she was completely blindsided by Beau when he broke up with her. The stuff he said to her was so cruel and it made me sad that she was still having trouble getting over him. I was proud of her for following her own dreams and opening her own salon, being her own boss and working with her best friend Laurie.

Beau was such a jerk at the beginning of the book for what he did to Hutton and how he took his anger from Chelle out on her. I hated that he painted them both under the same brush as Hutton wasn't Chelle or his mom. I was happy that his record label wanted him to clean up his act and I thought the concert ideas were great and I hoped he would be able to turn his life around.

I wondered how fast things would happen between Beau and Hutton once they saw each other again and I wasn't disappointed. I was worried that Beau was going to struggle with a real relationship and I crossed my fingers that he had grown up.

I was impressed with the change in Beau on the bus and while touring. He really showed that he was serious about staying sober and not wanting to jeopardize his relationship with Hutton. The tension between him and Austin was intense but I liked that Brian had his back.

When things began to get intense for both Beau and Hutton with the press I began to get suspicious over who was involved. Then a few things that happened to Hutton and I was so mad and angry and knew it had to be someone close to Beau. I was shocked at who was involved and why they were.

The end was great and I was so happy that it ended the way I wanted it to but I was left in shock over Laurie!!!

Fraud was a story that truly took it out of me, as my emotions were all over the place. It's the brilliant Hayley Faiman, so of course I couldn't put it down, but that doesn't mean that I didn't partake in name calling of the colorful metaphor variety. I guess I didn't pay close enough attention of the series name before taking Fraud on, you know that whole Unfit Hero thing?! I LOVED Hutton for the most part, as she had a huge heart, so when she & Beaumont were together the first time, I didn't know what I was getting into. He was a selfish douche when he left her, as he couldn't let his exes actions go, so he in turn, hurt others like Hutton without regrets it seemed like. It was years down the road before he actually started feeling bad about his actions, and I damn sure wish Hutton hadn't given him a pot to piss in to be honest, when he decided to act human after addiction tried to take him out. Then, once Hutton actually gave him a second chance despite the crap he put her through, she had zero trust. I get the whole needing to earn trust, but she opened the door to him, so I felt like she should have had a tad bit more trust as time went on. Now, I'm not saying that their sexy times weren't OFF THE CHARTS HOT HOT HOT, because they so were, but you know, I certainly have issues in the forgiveness department. There's also some big f-bomb worthy twists because not everyone was happy about them reuniting so bigger drama ensued. I have to hand it to Ms. Faiman, her writing certainly gets all my emotions out to play, and as a reader, can't beat that. So, in order to find out how it all panned out, you'll have to one click on Fraud! At the end of the day, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Have you ever read a story that is just SO good, that you imagine that this has happened in the authors life? It can only be one of two things...it is real life, or they are just that amazing of a writer, to make you think such. Well, let me tell you that this is Hayley Faiman with Fraud. Is this a true story? Or are her writing abilities just that good? Either way, this story is gripping. It pulls you in and does not let go until the very end. However, with that being said, you are still left reeling. I need more in my life. I’m not ready to let go of Beaumont and Hutton. They’re just so amazing together. Even almost a decade cannot keep their love from blossoming. Ever heard the saying “absence makes the heart grow fonder”? Well, it’s absolutely true for this duo. I love them. I love their relationship. I love their quirkiness and their no-holds-barred kind of love. It’s addicting and it’s what every couple strives for. Fame and drama be damned; they can overcome anything.

Hayley’s writing knows no bounds. She will take you on a trip, an adventure, and is smiling the whole time while telling it. You can tell that she loves what she does. She’s creative and inspirational and in love with her characters. If you have yet to read the awesomeness that is Ms. Faiman, do yourself a favor and introduce yourself today!

I’ve always liked the Unfit Hero series because of the realness and rawness of the characters. Fraud , third book in this standalone series, didn’t disappoint and brought out a gritty rock-star second chance romance.

I can understand Beaumont’s demon and his choice to leave Hutton behind in their younger years. However, he did hurt and shatter Hutton without giving her any reasons. With the passionate chemistry and intense bond that they shared, their reconnection was inevitable. Their reunion was bumpy because their relationship was still on shaky ground when Beaumont has to go on tour again. I loved that Beaumont was truthful and brutally honest with Hutton even when it hurt. He was really determined to make their relationship work this time around and redeem himself.

I truly enjoyed this raw and gritty second chance romance and would highly recommend it. It was great catching up with the other people from their close group and I cannot wait to see whose story will come next.

This is definitely my least favorite book in the series. I mean, I like Beaumont and I wanted so bad to read his story. But this wasn't quite what I was expecting. I don't know, something was just off about the relationship between them.

Hutton was a smart good girl who fell in love with a young selfish Beaumont and ten years after she's just not really over him, and even though she's a successful hairstylist, her love life is non-existent. Meanwhile, Beaumont ditched her to pursue fame and never looked back, he was all about the rock star life style which lead him to struggle with heavy addictions and regrets and ended up in rehab and now he's ready to settle down in his life.

I didn't like the way Beaumont kind of forced Hutton into the relationship. He didn't mention her at all in ten years in which he spent complaining over Chelle's betrayal. But the night he saw Hutton again all of a sudden he realizes he wants her back in his life. And just like that, he turns possessive around her and convinced her that they were meant to each other. This was a major turn off for me.

I did like the book overall. I was entertained with all the romantic cliches about being in a relationship with a rock star. It was an enjoyable easy reading.

Hayley Faiman is without a doubt one of the best authors around. A couple of years ago I happened upon her Notorious Devils Series and was hooked on her writing. Through the Notorious Devils she introduced me to The Russian Bratva Series and the rest is history. All I have to hear is that she’s got a book coming out and I’m one clicking, and right now I’m clicking on her Unfit Hero Series and, once again, I’m loving it! Fraud is the third book in this series and it’s Beaumont and Hutton’s story. I’ll be totally honest, I was a little iffy about Beaumont in the first part of the book. He’s self absorbed and careless with other’s feelings, but then I got to know him and he definitely redeemed himself. Hutton is adorable...sweet, quiet and sexy without realizing it. This book has all the elements of a great Hayley Faiman read...sweet, funny, agonizing at times and sexy beyond imagination...wow! It also brings back all the friends from books one and two...yeah, you really need to read them, fabulous! Loved this book and am looking forward to the next one!
