Another one of those nothing stories where Pooh awakes to the first day of spring and walks around the Hundred Acre Wood singing and meeting his friends one by one before inviting them all to a big picnic party. Ho-hum.
(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. How many is that? I’m going to count them this year by reading and reviewing one every day and seeing which month I finally run out. Track my progress here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list... )
This is a book from the "My Very First Winnie The Pooh" series book. Making it an easier to read for an independent merging reader. I read it outloud to my 3 year old granddaughter and she loved it. The illustrations goes hand in hand with the text which makes it that much more special. Each one of Pooh's friend is enjoying something about what Spring means to them, from Rabbit's garden, to Pooh's hunny, to Eeyore's thistles. Then at the end all the friends share a wonderful picnic.
Pooh's Favorite Things About Spring Zoehfeld, Kathleen Weidner This is a cute early reader book staring Disney's Winnie the Pooh talking about spring, and the things that Pooh loves about the season. Pooh shows young children about their world. This beloved character makes lessons about the seasons important.
This book describes different things that happen in the spring. Good for text to sellf and for children to think about what happens in the spring in terms of weather.
