Another Sweet Home Montana story, this time focusing on Alex Ryan, desperate to escape suspicion and secure safety after she is accused of being part of a fraud scheme perpetrated by her and her house is then ransacked by a burglar (or maybe not).

She buys her aunt's rundown home and reluctantly hires the neighbor who had originally wanted to buy the property. What next happens requires two children and a pair of rescue dogs and then her safety is threatened again. Same perp or someone else? Alex

I really liked her first book and this one was just as good if not better. In this one I met Alex Ryan who was trying to start over after being hurt badly. But she meets Nick Callahan. I like this story because of the issue that is involved. Thru Nick, Alex slowly opens up. Its well written with alot of action in it. It helps that story slowly unfolds and gives you understanding of Alex. Thru his daughters Nick gives Alex hope. Its a great story that is worth reading. I found it hard to put down ...more
