Noah Becker is nothing but trouble.

That’s what Mama told me when I was a kid, kicking his pew in church and giggling at the games we’d play. It’s what the town said when his father died and the Becker brothers went wild. And it’s on repeat in my mind the day I walk into the whiskey distillery where he works to buy a wedding gift for my fiancé.

He’s trouble.

ON THE ROCKS: Is a full length, small town stand alone romance novel by Kandi Steiner. Spoken in 'Dual Perspectives'.

A slow burn cute summer days read!! Books like this are my weakness, from friends to lovers, a bit of drama, a little bit of angst, to swoony moments, throw in a few sighs, a small town, and get ready to fall in love with our hero like I did. He got my hea

I’ve read ‘A love letter to whiskey’ by Kandi Steiner recently, and I was obsessed with that book and her writing, so I decided to read more of her books, starting with this one. and it was SO SWEET!

Overall Opinion: This was an enjoyable forbidden romance read. It was actually better than I thought it would be and if it wasn't for the ending I would've rated it higher. I liked both of the mcs, I enjoyed their friendship to more type relationship, and I enjoyed the overall message being about the h going after her own dreams and not letting them get lost in a relationship. Just FYI -- I wouldn't necessarily call this a "second chance romance", which I remember seeing about this, bec

OMGGGGG! All the sweet, all the swoon, all the feels! I fell hopelessly in love with Noah and Ruby! Every moment of their beautiful romance gave me feels. I melted, swooned, cried, laughed, and swooned more. It’s a dreamy, sweet, heartfelt story with the perfect touch of angst that ruined me. Such an incredible start to a series (each book is a stand-alone, featuring a new couple). The Becker brothers are BEYOND yummy, and I can’t say enough good things about On the Rocks. "Anyone can lead an ordinary life. . But the best adventures are reserved for the ones brave enough to be extraordinary”.

There is something about small town romance that gives us all of the feels. Whether it’s the knowledge that some of these characters have known each other since they were kids, or the fact that there’s this unexplainable type of connection with the most of the residents in the small town or the love you feel when these characters stand up for you. Either way, there’s som

My first Kandi Steiner - and it was a winner!

At the tender age of 19, Ruby Grace is getting married. And she's happy about it . . . mostly. Her older, charismatic fiance is on the brink of political stardom and she likes the idea of them taking on the world's problems together.

So why does she feel so smothered?

As wedding preparations steam-roll forward, Ruby Grace finds some much needed breathing room by

Everything was perfect, and if you asked any of my friends, they’d say I was the luckiest girl in Tennessee. So then why did it feel like I was drowning?

To a certain extent, Ruby Grace Barnett’s path in life was set before she was old enough to have a say in the matter. The daughter of the town mayor, she always knew politics was in her future. Whether as the wife of a politician or running for office herself, Ruby Grace envisioned herself spending her life helping others and giving b

thanks to this book i now know the proper ways to drinking a glass of whiskey. not that i ever will use this knowledge to a practice. or maybe i will. who knows. i'm pretty good at being a rebel. it's a useful knowledge nonetheless.

but whiskeys aside, this book has all the ingredients to a perfect romance. it's just a matter of whether the author cooks it to my liking or not. and much to my delight, she did. there were just a couple of things i didnt agree with. (view spoiler)

A small town in Tennessee is the back drop for this story and it features a family that very possibly has been done wrong by the heirs of a Whiskey business.

And that's exactly where Noah and Ruby get reacquainted. She's there to buy a barrel of whiskey for her fiance and he actually works there.

From that meeting, they both can't stop thinking of each other and that leads to a close call. One that freaks Ruby out so to smooth things out, Noah talks her into just being friends. This leads

Loved it! This is by far Kandi's best novel to date. An engaging forbidden age-gap, slow burn romance with low angst that'll keep you turn pages after pages.

I love the slow building of characters, not just Noah and Ruby Grace but for the rest of the Becker brothers since all of them will have a book of their own. Woohoo!

The Dual POV is one of the key points in making this book an amazing read because in my opinion, one could only be completely satisfied if both perspective were shared
I don't know how she does it, but Kandi Steiner delivered with On The Rocks another enchanting story that will blow your mind. It's heartbreaking and magical, it'll touch your heart and soul with characters that steal your breath away.

As I finished up On The Rocks I realized that I am really, really looking forward to getting to know the rest Becker men; Logan, Michael, and Jordan. Holy HELL. I feel like Kandi wrote this book for me. Being a southern girl, I connected with this right from the start. It was like she was talking dirty to me int he first chapter. All things Tennessee, Chris Stapleton and Whiskey, HEAVEN! What a great start for a new series. I'm in LOVE with The Becker family. Ruby Grace Barnett is everything the perfect southern women should be and when she meets her now finance during a college party, she knows what she has to do. She will drop out of school to be the stay-at-home wife, pop out some kids, and be the arm-candy to her future husband; an up and coming state representative.

But what no one has asked Ruby, no one until Noah Becker was.... what did Ruby want? Did Ruby want to give up on her dreams for the dreams of her future husband? Did Ruby want to liv

On the Rocks is the first book I have read from this new to me author. I chose it because I love age gaps and I love small town romances. Unfortunately it's very hard to find a light hearted small town romance without it being super cheesy. On the Rocks definitely didn't suffer from that. It's really slow burn which if you follow me you know I'm not a big fan but this couple was so much fun that I was never bored. The connection between Noah and Ruby Grace was awesome and the spark was immediate ...more

On the Rocks is a small town romance, based in Tennessee between a barrel raiser at a whiskey distillery and the mayor’s daughter. Noah is 27, rough around the edges and a troublemaker. I thought it was very creative and unique that he was a barrel raiser at a whiskey distillery. I knew absolutely nothing about this at all and this was all very interesting. Kandi Steiner’s descriptions were phenomenal. I swear I could almost taste the whiskey with her descriptions! Ruby Grace, on the

I’ve realised Kandi Steiner loves whiskey and that people in the southern states of America really do like the whole two name thing. Like Mary Ellen, Bobby Jo, Ruby Grace, and they always call people by the full moniker. Not just Ruby. It’s always Ruby Grace.

This is apparently going to be a family saga. We have four handsome brothers and Noah Becker is brother number one. I think I already know where the long term plot is going. I’ve already jumped into solution mode.

I am happy to say that I actually really enjoyed this! It was beyond sweet, and I fell in love with Noah as the hero. He was perfect (but I will admit, at times he came off as a little too perfect, *ik I'm annoying f
