A humble story told in awe of God’s repetitively miraculous work in the author’s life. Without having gone through addiction in the same way, the story still powerfully and meaningfully intersected with realities in my own life and those around me, bringing me to tears of hope and renewed prayer. This book would be good for someone who doesn’t believe in miracles and God’s power today, as it’s told by someone who didn’t expect or try to experience these things but simply stumbled into God’s grace time and again.

Excellent reminder of Gods love pursuing us and the church body role in assisting those with addictions. Spiritual warfare was very real in Kevin’s life. Dark times. Kevin shares that throughout life he continually sits on the razors edge of faith and apostasy.
A friend shared an online story (not included in book) of Kevin’s passing and fight to the end with addictions and relational struggles.

A story of one man's journey through addiction and recovery doesn't begin to describe this amazing book. God is present when we are far from him. He is present in our struggles, and loving us each step of the way. You might not be an addict, but you will see a glimpse of yourself in Kevin's story.
