I would like to remind you that. I don't often read this type of sci-fi books, but I was somewhat drawn in on the 1st book, but lord I was hooked. by the 2nd book. my curiosity overcame me and I need to read the next book in this series, and now here I’m at the 3rd book
Skye Dylan, Wade, and Jesse


Another Action-packed and intense book, and the plot thickens with Calvin and his equally evil crew, on the hunt for Skye and Jesse. to show them retribution, for what they think is the disrespect that both Skye and Jesse had shown them


Once again Skye and Jesse find them self in sticky situation. And once again, the question will be. Can and will Dylan and Wade be able to save Skye and Jesse in time?

In this book, Skye finally realizes that she didn't live the real world before all this chaos has happened. And she just lived in an illusion, a bubble, and if she doesn’t wake up from the that illusion, she might just get everyone killed cuz of it



This time around Dylan, Wade, and Jesse realize how important Skye is to them! And the sacrifices that they are willing to do to keep her safe.
Once again Tom, finds himself thinking that he is the last defense for the town, when the infected try to overrun it……. This time around Tom is stuck in a place he never thought he’d be in- asking the wild Colton brothers for help

And course we can’t forget, the hateful Frankie, who manages to get into trouble with his new friends……. Frankie was able to surprise everyone with his own unconditional love for Jesse


I think at this point I cannot turn away from this series. I am completely addicted to it. Onto the next book- The Trial

The story continues and the author continues to write at a very high standard, she pays attention to small details that make the story so much more enjoyable. We continue to see the characters grow and develop as they continue with the daily struggle to survive and look ahead to the coming months. This is an action-packed story full of suspense, intrigue and drama.

Another great addition to this series. Can't wait for the next one. The world is still a dangerous place out there for Jesse and Skye, but with Dylan and Wade around its a little bit safer. The virus is spreading but now they seem smarter than before... Read this book after you have read the first two to understand what parts of this book relate it. Great read. Couldn't put it down.

I have read the previous two books in this series and loved them both! This book is just as great! Action-packed and intense, I am very connected to these wonderful characters and have difficulty putting this book down. I highly recommend the entire series.

In many ways I really enjoyed this final installment. Learning what becomes of Skye and Jesse in particular was quite satisfying. My one complaint is that I felt the end was rushed and for me there was a lack of closure. That being said, I absolutely enjoyed the series and look forward to Ms. Dawn creating more apocalyptic adventures.

My Musings

Wow, just wow! This bok has emotion and plenty of , from the first page to the last. I love the characters and the plot is riveting. While I question some of the story line, not was not enough to take away from my reading enjoyment. I'm so glad I found this book on Kindle Unlimited. Happy ☺reading 📚!

Great story!!!!

I have read each of the books in this series and have found them interesting. I have found that it is very instructive in giving people on how to survive when things go from bad to worse. A lot like what some of us have had to deal with in the past year and a half. I would recommend this series to anyone who likes this kind of a book.

Something Missing

While, I appreciate that she is trying something different with her story, it just doesn’t work for me.

The writing is a bit dry and predictable at times.

Also, there are several sentence structure mistakes throughout.

Overall, while there certainly is potential here, something is missing.
