I liked this story and it kept my interest because it was outside of the norm, but it was completely unbelievable. If you’re a reader who can suspend belief and just get lost in a story, you may enjoy it for the fairytale type of romance offered up. However, if you’re a stickler for details and reality-based consequences, you’ll want to avoid this one because there aren’t any real-world repercussions for the choices made by these characters.
A well written book with an interesting story line. The characters are strong and the story flows quickly and smoothly. I enjoyed reading this story.

Elizabeth was never loved by her parents. She died in a fire and Lizzie was born. She created a new life. Chase is an ex MMA fighter with issues of his own. A rough start in life and a end to his fighting career leaves him broken. Neither is looking for love. When Lizzie’s past comes back thugs get shaken up. The beginning of the book will grab you , the end will put a smile on your face.

This is a pretty quick read, only taking a couple of hours but it’s an enjoyable one. The two main characters weren’t looking for a relationship, but they found each other, and their chemistry was off the charts. Both characters have baggage that they need to work through and there are lots of twists and turns in this story. There are some steamy scenes also. Loved this steamy romance. Lizzie and Spencer are electric. This isn't just a great romance read. There is suspense, secrets and lots to keep the reader guessing. It is a short read and I read it in one sitting. That was mostly due to not being able to put it down. I love a strong female lead and man that wants to protect her. The fact that I love an MMA fighter helped too. This story kept me guessing and falling in love with characters from the start. I can't wait for more in this series!

I enjoyed this steamy romance. It is very well written with a great storyline and flows nicely. The characters are well developed and very relatable. Lizzie and Spencer have a lot in common and the chemistry between them is very steamy. This is a short read, perfect for a relaxing afternoon in the sun.
