Very informative. Great recipes. I am not gluten free but plan to try many of these recipes. I received this book and agreed to write a review

Most people think gluten-free means food that is all protein or just blah, but that is so not true. I love trying new food on my family just for the thrill of the look they give me when they see the new cookbook I've been using and their mouths drop and say who knew with complete amazement. All the recipes in this book are simple and easy to make but are so delicious your tastebuds scream thank you. A few favorites are the dragon fruit sherbet and the chai hot cocoa. The homemade naan is to die for! The dodo was loved by all and the popped sorghum and hummus a wonderful treat.
I liked the “know your ingredients” section giving me information on items I was not familiar with in the recipe. Also, it was great to find different gluten recipes than the same old standards. Great find.
I have been gluten-free for many years and look at a lot of cookbooks every month. This one was a pleasant surprise because of the helpful way it was put together. Here are a few things that I really liked:
* Each recipe has an "intro" that tells a little bit about it and many times is like a little history lesson for an ingredient, or specialty of the particular recipe.
* Shows ways to make substitutions if desired, or needed.
* Gives an idea of quantities needed in a helpful way, such as "1 bunch cilantro is about 2 cups loosely packed before chopping".
* Is specific about the size to chop the ingredients, such as "1/2 inch pieces".
All of these things give the cook solid information to make a successful dish. It is better to have specifics rather than flounder when making a new recipe.
I chose three recipes to try with pretty good success. The first was the Pimento Cheese Spread. This is not a new kind of recipe for me and I make a similar one fairly frequently. However, what drew me to this was one of the variations listed......to make it with pepper jack cheese, rather than cheddar. I have never thought of that before and I must say it was tasty, especially on celery sticks. I plan to make this again. The second one I tried was the Mexican Spiced Brownies. This is a flourless brownie that turned out well and was enjoyed by several tasters. The last one was the Carne Asada Burgers. I didn’t care for this one too much because it didn’t really taste much different than a regular burger. I am looking forward to making more such as the Cauliflower Falafel, and the Popped Sorghum.
I would recommend this cookbook for anyone looking for some new gluten-free recipes that are put together in an informative and easy to understand way. I received a free copy of this book and am leaving a review with opinions entirely on my own.

I have been trying to serve healthier options for my family. So even though we are not gluten free, this cookbook filled a need. Trying to make healthier meals that are still delicious and exciting can definitely be a challenge in the inspiration department. This cookbook has so many unique recipes that it really makes it easy to find exciting meals for each evening. I haven't tried all of them(yet!) but I started with the hummus. I had never made hummus before, so I was a little nervous, but it turned out great! I love that so many of the recipes offer variations, or substitutions, and extra information about the not-so-common ingredients. I love that so many of the recipes seem so simple and easy, most healthy and gluten free recipes are neither! I am still developing my skills in the kitchen, so I love the variety of recipes at different skill levels. My husband has a sweet tooth and is not big on eating fruit for dessert, lol...so I am next going to try making the shortbread cookies, or the spiced brownies...or maybe both!😋 I also look forward to making some of the appetizers for my next get together 👍
If you are looking for unique and exciting, but healthy recipes, I would recommend giving this cookbook a try. My only complaint about this cookbook is that there are no photos of the recipes. I am a very visual person, so I enjoy seeing a "preview" of the finished recipe when it's something I've never tried before.
I received a free copy of this book to test out in exchange for my opinions, but I will be buying an extra copy for a gluten free friend as a gift👍😊
P.s. I think that Katie's introduction is absolutely heartwarming. It made me want to call my mom, lol.

Gluten Free World Tour Cookbook by Katie Moseman is a great help if you are new to gluten free cooking and need some inspiration.
Besides having more than 50 recipes, there are pages of the book dedicated to information about different ingredients, and tips about substitutions and techniques.
We recently found out that my young son cannot have gluten, but he is also very picky. These issues combined with the fact that I do not have a lot of experience in gluten free cooking and baking means I have my work cut out for me. There are recipes that are great for beginners as well as more advanced cooks. Some of the recipes are so simple you will want to slap yourself and ask why you didn't think of that. With the substitution suggestions added in, you find there are really a lot of options for you if you can't have gluten, and it really isn't as overwhelming as it seems.
Two of my favorite recipes in this book are Kasspatzle, from Germany, and the Scottish Shortbread Cookies. These are the type of recipes my son loved before that I knew could be made gluten free, but now I have a recipe to make sure I get it right.

Gave me confidence to go Gluten free
I've been reading up and thinking about going gluten free hoping it would help with health issues. This book gave me some recipes that I am excited to try out and I don't think it will upset my children. They don't like to eat "healthy" foods. But this book has some recipes that we normally eat like meatball subs, and with just some slight variations make it gluten free. I plan on making it for dinner tonight. This book also give variations which is helpful and the directions are easy to follow. I just don't think I will be using all the recipes because some seem too complicated and not for me and my family's taste preferences. However, there are many recipes that are simple and I am looking forward to testing them out. I think this book will bring me into the right direction of going gluten free. I received this book for free with the option to review or not.

November 22, 2019I have always been interested in eating gluten free, but never really knew where to start.I have been intimidated about starting any new type of diet, because I work and don't think that I will have time to find all those special ingredients. This cook book is great for beginners. Most of the recipes are very simple, unlike what I thought. They do not require a great deal of expensive ingredients, either. I also like how it gives me a lot of recipes, from main dishes to appetizers and snacks. It does also include some sketch pictures of different items. I do wish that they had some actual pictures to see how the recipe should look. That would have been really helpful. It also gives some informative information about different ingredients, which helped me better understand how they are used within different types of recipes. This is such a practical and simple way to switch to a gluten-free diet.

My family is not gluten free, but we have talked about the idea of exploring it further to see if it helps with any of the health issues we have. I have dabbled with a few gluten free recipes, so was eager to try out some of the ones in this cookbook to see how it went with my super picky clan. I have mixed thoughts. On the one hand, the recipes were easy to follow, well written, and came out as intended (or so I think). I was very appreciative of the vast amount of additional information and knowledge contained within the pages of this book along with the recipes. But on the other hand, some of the ingredients cost a lot more than others we typically have on hand, and some were harder to find. I really had to go looking to get some things. But it was overall a more positive experience than not, though I can't say if we are going to move to full gluten free or not yet. It has been a fun experiement with trying different recipes, though.

The Gluten-Free World Tour Cookbook opened up my pallet to foods I never thought I could eat before. They have a wide variety of international dishes from around the world! This book contains Starter and Slides, Main dishes and Desserts. They have dishes from Spain, The Middle East, Nigeria, Thai, Canada, Mexico, and so much more. This cookbook gives me step by step easy instructions, cook time, and ingredients. I also enjoyed the “Know Your Ingredients” section, I can find information about my ingredients. For example, I found that Sherry is a type of fortified wine from Spain. The recipes in the book are simple to make, they don’t have a long list of ingredients or takes hours to finish. The only downside it that this book does not have real pictures of the food. Overall, this is my new favorite cookbook!

Gluten Free World Tour Cookbook by Katie Moseman is a very nice little cookbook if you are new to gluten free cooking or just want some new recipes. This cookbook has 50 recipes and includes information about different ingredients, and tips about substitutions and cooking techniques.
The recipes are great for beginners as well as more advanced cooks. The recipes are very simple to follow and have detailed instructions to make preparation a breeze! I already tried a few of the recipes and they were delicious. My mother in law cannot have any gluten so we always pick a recipe out of this book to cook for her when she plans to stop over.
I would recommend this cookbook for anyone looking for some new gluten free recipes that are put together in an informative and easy to understand way. I received a free copy of this book and am leaving a review with opinions entirely my own.

I am SO excited for this cookbook! I am on a Low Fodmap Diet - life sucks and there are a limited amount of things I can eat! But with gluten already removed from this selection, it makes it easier to find things I can actually make! Some of the recipes are perfect the way they are, others require alternation because of the some of the spices used. But overall, this is a gold mine for me! I've selected a recipe from each section. My son who wants to be a chef says he'll help me figure it out! This gives us something else to bound over that I can ACTUALLY EAT! I love the tips throughout the book, and I can't wait to see if the author writes more cookbooks like this! I highly recommend!

I absolutely love this book. Not only do you get recipes but you get a little history. One of my favorite parts is when a recipes calls for a certain spice mix (that I had never heard of) they give you the recipe to make it. I have enjoyed making some of the items out of it. My boyfriend who is a very picky eater has also liked everything I have made out of it. I highly recommend going and getting you one.

I love that I can keep a digital copy of this with me handy while I am cooking. I am a beginner to the Gluten-Free lifestyle and had no idea where to start. This book is my saving grace and will make this lifestyle transition so much easier. The variety of meals is wonderful and the convenience of having it on my electronic device, again, is wonderful!

With more people adopting a gluten-free diet, either out of want or need, there’s an increasing demand for delicious recipes that are free of glutenous ingredients, like wheat, barley, and rye. With so many gluten-free cookbooks out there, it can be overwhelming to try to find the right one for you, especially if you’re new to the diet.

There are twenty-eight recipes in this cookbook. I might try a few of them. I am not on a gluten-free diet but I know a few people who are and it might be nice to prepare some things that they can eat at get-togethers and such. You can purchase here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P...

This book has some good recipes. They have some nice spice mixes included. I enjoy the "Know Your Ingredients" section. The lack of pictures is disappointing. Digital photography is so easy now, there should not be cookbooks without pictures.
