Philanthropic billionaire, Lathan Kincaid, needs a wife. Now. He’s got seventeen days to woo and wed, or risk losing his trust fund and a controlling interest in the family business—and without those, he’ll miss the balloon payment on the project dearest to his heart: a school he’s funding in Kenya to honor his deceased brother. The clock is ticking, and Lathan will do anything to find a wife, even strike a bargain with the firecracker of a female who shows up in the tow truck to rescue his Porsche stuck on the outskirts of Tallulah Cove.

Jacqueline “Jack” Price refuses to get sucked into anyone’s family drama—especially not the sexy playboy with bedroom eyes and a crazy pickup line. Working day and night to earn enough to care for her father with Alzheimer’s, Jack has no time to play house with a desperate billionaire. But when Lathan sweetens the pot with the promise of money to provide her father the best of care, Jack swallows her pride and agrees to the soulless terms: marriage for a minimum of one year in exchange for her father’s comfort.

Lathan and Jack know from the onset that the foundation of their marriage is built in sinking sand, but as Jack locks up her heart to protect herself, Lathan opens his, understanding that the only thing he wants is the one thing his billions can’t buy: Forever...with Jack.

Such a unique occupation for our heroine, she drives a tow truck and her name is Jack, Jack Price. She and her brother, Jeremy, own Price’s Auto Body known for repairing high-end vehicles. When Jack is called out to tow a Porsche, she meets Lathan Kincaid, a billionaire who needs rescuing in more ways then one. Lathan needs to be married, within a month, to inherit controlling interest in the Kincaid Company as well as the remainder of his trust fund. The funds are needed to pay for a school being built in Kenya in honor of his deceased brother. He has no fiancée in sight…but, maybe Jack? He cannot explain his instant attraction and need to get to know Jack. She is so different from any woman he has ever met, but will she be willing to marry him? Jack has her own pressing need for money, for her father’s health care, but can she agree to marry a man she has just met? A strong heroine who does not judge her self-worth based on the opinion of others and an honorable man who tries to live up to the expectations of his family. A wonderful contribution to this amazing series! I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation from the author. (by paytonpuppy)

We are back in Tallulah Cove and this time we have some new characters not directly related to the previous stories, but ones you will fall in love with just as much. They are Lathan Kincaid and Jack/Jacqueline Price.
Lathan is a billionaire and a philanthropist who has been given an ultimatum. He needs to marry in 17 days or lose his trust and the money he needs to fund a school in Kenya in memory of his deceased brother.
He meets Jack when his car gets stuck and she is the tow service driver. Jack is struggling to keep her Dad in a special, and expensive Alzeheimer location. The attraction between them is obvious and suddenly Lathan has a proposition that will solve both their problems. But these two opposites, not only in character but also socially, had not bargain on feelings.
Once again this talented author did what few can do when writing a novella. She presents an engaging story , with complex characters and a plot that is well developed from the first page to the last.
Another winner in this series. I am looking forward to other stories in Tallulah Cove.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I received this book as part of an ARC review. I liked the spunky attitude of Jack. They both know what they want when they see it even if they needed a reason to act on it. Latham needs to marry in seventeen days and Jack needs for her father's medical bills paid at a good facility. Latham offers the bills paid for her father's life for a year of marriage. After a bit, Jack agrees. There is some misunderstandings both are living with from their families that get resolved nicely. Once all is resolved, the love that both feel for the other can flourish and their bargain marriage becomes long term. I look forward to more in this series.

Loved this addition! Casey managed to give us an emotional read of a billionaire & a tow truck driver. The chemistry was instantaneous & hot! The plot moved quickly with in the constraints of a novella but I didn't feel we missed out on character development. Great quick HEA!

Such a fun read. He has to get married. She needs money for her dad's care. What could go wrong in a year?
