How someone goes from writing about a hero like Bonhoeffer to the propaganda in this book is beyond me. This book is like something the communist party might have given out to their people to justify the Berlin Wall.

This book initially seemed so over the top, I thought it must be satire. It's not. It's disgusting propaganda, and I'm especially horrified that something like this would be aimed at children. I felt sick to my stomach when I found out he wrote for Veggie Tales, a show I loved as a child in my fairly conservative Christian home.

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord’, will enter the kingdom of heaven” Matthew 7:21
As a Christian and a missionary this book disappoints and disgusts me. For a supposedly “Christian” author to write this makes me sick to my stomach. There is nothing Christian or Christ like about this. To those who consider themselves Christians and find this funny, you are contributing to the down fall of Christianity in the U.S. if this is what Christians are like why would anyone want to become one?
Shame on you Eric Metaxas! Go read Philippians 4:8 instead.

Sad to think anyone thinks this is funny. Propaganda isn’t a joke.

This book needs a trigger warning. I think I had a stroke due to the race and gender stereotypes portrayed through the cartoon images in this book.

Eric Metaxas has done it again! I had read his previous book, Donald Drains the Swamp, and found it establishes its points very well through delightful humor and illustrations. I looked forward to an enjoyable sequel. It’s a quick read and woven throughout is the fundamental concept of freedom on which America (United States) is based... and which so many people have not learned or forgotten.

At one point a character asks Donald the Caveman, “But wait, doesn’t freedom mean NO rules? And NO boundaries?” To which Donald replies: “Good question, and the answer is NO!”

Why is the answer “NO”? Read the book and see. This is the reason for a wall. Without Donald and his people building a wall, the results would have been disastrous for them.

I loved the illustrations by Tim Raglin as well. Some characters you can identify from the earlier book, and there are some new characters that you can quickly identify.

Another book well done, and I definitely recommend it. I wonder where Donald’s adventures will take him next?

I enjoyed reading Donald Builds the Wall by Eric Metaxas and Tim Raglin. This is the second in 'A Donald the Caveman Book'. The first book was Donald Drains the Swamp.

E Metaxas is a bestselling author, radio show host and humorist. I have read all of his non-fiction books and found all of them extremely interesting. Metaxas is a very funny person and his Donald the Caveman books reflect that. You must have a sense of humor to read his books.

I would highly recommend Donald Builds the Wall by E Metaxas to readers: who have a sense of humor, who like adult topics written in children's book style, well written and illustrated books.

Seems like anyone can publish a book now a days. It’s MAGA talking points targeted to kids and parents who want to keep a divisive trend going. Actually a pretty weird book.

This bock is a vile, racist, white supremicist, anti hispanic, neo-nazi and hateful book of pure horsesh*t. This book is pro trump propaganda aimed at kids to make them hate an entire race of people. Normilizing this kind of propaganda is pure evil and just makes me sick knowing it exists. in 2019 23 people were brutally killed in El Paso by an anti immigrent extremist. This book is premoting THE EXACT SAME IDEAS that killed 23 people on that day in 2019. Eric Metaxis, you should feel ashamed for writing this white supremicist "kids"book. if you by this book for your kids you are a racist, white supremicist, neo nazi, Ku klux klan, anti-hispanic monster and you deserve to go to hell.

Amazing how accurate this book is. If only there were more people like Donald.

After the first few pages I was wondering if this was clever satire or irony. Sadly neither, although maybe irony is there in abundance. The book is published under the umbrella of the Salem Media Group. They seem to specialise in both Christian and evangelical publications so I guess this is more from their evangelical division. Would be a shame if this book took up space on a bookshelf somewhere.

Ummm…I give it one star bc this book is glorifying Donald Trump & the Wall he DIDN’T build that the US really does need to keep the Mexican Illegals OUT of our country!! It’s nothing more than a children’s book to glorify Donald Trump & lie about what he did. The one star is for the hilarious parody that this book has now become!! 😂😂

Second book in the Donald the Caveman series, this is worse than the first. Not only does it have horrible depictions of Bernie Sanders and AOC, it has racist caricatures of people from other countries. The news media is combined with Mexican cartels to form the “MSNBC-13 gang.” This is offensive and how it got published as a children’s book in 2019 is beyond me.

a caveman aspires to a great society, when 'the other' complains he aspires to build a wall to keep them out.
