Wow, absolutely fantastic! Hickory, Jess, and Gareth are given another mission, they will travel to Auriga, the home planet to the Bidashi, in an effort to retrieve the Sword of Connat. As usual, the best laid plans have a way of going wrong, and the team will have to be creative to reach the city of Kaffur and get the sword. The fourth installment in the Hickory Lace series is the best of the batch. Once again Hickory and her crew are faced with the consequences of past decisions/actions. Along with the events surrounding the quest to find out if the Teacher lived through the explosion in a life pod, the crew comes across two new indigenous species and some interesting questions regarding the genesis of one of these species.
