Justice for You
Rocco has been trying to get Lavenders attention for months to no avail. Well that is until one tequila filled night in Vegas. He finally has the woman he’s been longing for. Too bad he woke up alone, and very naked. Even worse she won’t give him the time of day once they’re back home, until fate decided to help the poor guy out. Another story full of banters with the homicidal stalkers (oops😲😅) I mean the SAPD Swat team😏. Here we have Rocco and Lavender. Poor poor Rocco who has been after Lavender and hasn’t been lucky in months of trying to be with her. After their Las Vegas trip he finally had a chance to bulldoze his way into her life😂.
Now I don't know whether if I really should’ve said ❝Poor Poor Rocco❞ but instead poor poor poor Lavender 😂 with the way Rocco, his team especially Declan helped him to insert himself to her life. 😂
It was also really funny every time Sage teases Lavender. I love how different they are yet they are also the same when Lavender is riled or its the hormones affecting her😂😂

This book made me laugh so much, and I really love the banter between the characters.
Rocco is completely swoon worthy whilst still retaining that little bit of a bad boy streak.
I wanted to crawl inside the book and shake Lavender at times as she made Rocco work so damn hard but it was totally worth it in the end and they make a great couple!
Another fantastic book by Nikki and I can’t wait for the next!

This was a good book. However, it wasn't as good as the others in my personal opinion. I liked both Lavender and Rocco. I just didn't think that their personalities matched. She seemed to always be giving him dirty looks or was mad at him. Even though I didn't think they worked well together I was glad to see them happy in the end.

Rocco's been circling (read lightly stalking) Lavender for a while to no avail. Staying true to personality of this series, Sage and JJ's Vegas wedding gives him the opening he needs. Being an SAPD SWAT guy, Rocco drives a MACK truck through it. Lavender's self-esteem took a real hit thanks to her awful ex and she is convinced a relationship between them won't work but oh is she tempted. The matchmaking efforts of the other recurring characters won't let her give in to fear. While Lavender isn't sassy like her sister Sage, star of the prior book, she's a force to be reckoned with when pushed too far or defending her students. Rocco and Lavender go well together, great chemistry and playful banter. Rocco's a great cheer leader for her and Lavender unleashed is hilarious.

Nikki Mays is back with this, another fabulous addition to her SAPD SWAT Series, now it’s Rocco’s turn to catch the love bug, his lady of interest is Lavender who we briefly met in the previous book. Rocco had his work cut out for him when it came to pursuing Lavender sure they’d shared one hot passion filled night together in Vegas but come morning Rocco woke up alone and naked as the day he was born and since they’ve been back home the poor guy’s tried and failed to get her attention but here’s the thing when it comes to Rocco, he’s no quitter which comes in handy when it came down to getting Lavender’s attention then persuading her into giving them a chance of having a relationship which is just as well, as not all things Vegas stayed in Vegas.
Take one hot sexy cop, one shy slightly damaged (thanks to her waste of space ex) school teacher, add in their partners in crime who consist of the rest of the SAPD men and their significant others plus Danny and we get this fantastic, humour filled, addictive page turner of a book.
I am absolutely loving this series, the camaraderie between this group of friends who are more like family is enviable, Ms Mays has given us readers another fantastic addition to this amazing series with Justice For You, I’m looking forward to what’s in-store next.

I am so in love with this series it has hot alpha males and sassy females that can run rings around their mates. Author does a wonderful job of bringing her characters to life with humor, love and sass. Characters are well developed and engaging and the storyline flowed smoothly.

Justice for You by Nikki Mays is book 5 in the SAPD SWAT series and is about the characters Rocco and Lavender. Rocco and Lavender lived by the adage of what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. With Lavender now trying to stay away from Rocco due to continuously getting tongue tied when she is around him, she is trying to move on and not think about the sinfully sexy policeman that gives her butterflies…trying to be the main word. Rocco isn’t going to go down without a fight though, he finds the sweet and sexy schoolteacher alluring and wants her for his own and he is willing to play a little dirty to get what he wants. If only things were as simple as that!
This was a sweet story and easy read. Not only do we have Rocco and Lavender working on their relationship as life throws them a curve ball, but we also have other characters from the series popping in and at times they are hilarious and snarky and really do help (and sometimes hinder) Rocco and Lavender’s relationship. Lavender did change a little throughout the book and became more outspoken, but sometimes it felt like all she did was grumble at Rocco throughout parts of the book which kind of took the shine off her for me as a reader. Rocco was a sweet and sexy character who tried in every way to make Lavender come out of her shell.
With a vindictive ex, life throwing a curveball and family getting in the way, this was a sweet read and a good addition to the series as a whole.

This is a heartwarming, witty romantic comedy that leaves you smiling. The characters are well crafted, with engaging personalities complete with strengths and weaknesses. They seem to pop off the pages making you invested in their story. The story alternated from Rocco’s and Lavender’s point of view. The narrative is great allowing the reader to understand their feelings , dreams and motivations. What I enjoyed most was the witty, sarcastic and humorous dialogue between all the characters. It really made the story fun to read. The storyline flowed smoothly and fairly fast paced with all the emotional ups and downs of the couple had as they coped with the baby coming and trying to start a relationship. There are some steamy hot scenes that are incorporated nicely into the storyline. This is a well written book and if you like romantic comedies with some heat, you will enjoy this one.

I have read all the books in this series, they do not disappoint. These are some really great reads. This series started with a set of guys in a S.W.A.T. team, but as the guys have started settling down, the women have come in with friends making the stories that much better. Each book contains the original guys, as they're the ones finding love (hoping Danny gets a book too though) but as each woman comes into the equation, they bring another new character with them. All these characters move into the next book as this group of friends grow into a bigger network. This book is the story of Rocco and Lavender. Rocco has tried everything but begging one his knees to get Lavender to give him the time of day. Lavender really likes Rocco, but her ex really screwred up her confidence. Maybe all they need is a few shots of tequila and a little dove from Declan to get their relationship going. It's just a great book, what more do I need to say? Just read it and you'll find out yourself. Whereas, these books can be read as standalones, I highly recommend reading them in the order they were written. Finally Rocco gets the girl....or so he's really trying. He's even got fate on his side with a Vegas hook up resulting in a positive pregnancy test.... but she's still playing hard to get.
Lavender and Rocco have been playing the cat and mouse game for months all cause she's got no confidence and nothing but hitters for the man. Her ex left her feeling less then worthy and now she's got a miracle must be fake pregnancy test that claims she's pregnant.
This book was super cute with steamy parts and an annoying ex to complete the circle. Plus the boys in police uniforms that make up this great series.
I am so glad to see Rocco and Lavender' s HEA- I was rooting for them since the previous book.
Now I just need to see Dee's boys meet their matches and more important Declan has to fall hard- after all don't the big ones always. He's been chasing a women who bats for the other team for too long... So will it be Kelly, or Holly or Lilly or someone not even on the radar yet.
This book didn't give us a hint at who Declan' s story is going to be about so I'm anxiously waiting for the next book.

I absolutely love, love, love Nikki Mays! Her stories are hysterical, her dialogue sparkles and her characters have become like family. This is the fifth book in this wonderful series all set in the SAPD Swat each book is a stand alone so you can read them in any order though there are cross over characters but do yourself a favour and read them all
This is Lavender and Rocco's story We met Lavender as a minor character in the last book The attraction between them is instant but both are wary then when in Vegas a little tequila eases the way and before you know it they are having one glorious night together. Only problem Rocco wakes up next morning naked and alone and Lavender is playing what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas story. The only only thing is she has brought home a surprise from Vegas and Rocco is determined that she will be his even before he learns he will soon be a dad. Once again it is the characters and the banter between them that makes these stories so great They are definitely books that once you start them you don't want to put them down

ONE FANTASTIC MASTERPIECE!!!
OMG! Man, I freaking love this hot little number. Nikki skillfully laid this baby out with one incredible storyline and gripping plot that blows this baby to life flawlessly. Twixt and twined and stretched to unbelievable limits that keep you grappling, fusing piece after piece together with just enough flaws to make it more interesting. A throng of startling circumstances and a slew of surprising events blast those churning emotions forward in this thrilling storyline and gripping plot. The characters and their personalities are original, tangible and well developed with just the right balance to add spice to the mix. The scenes are graphically detailed with such colorful descriptions to give you a full understanding and the realism that play out fluidly from each scenario without a hitch. Awesome job Nikki, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

I really hope you have started from the beginning because if you have not than you are just short changing yourself. We met Rocco from the beginning and I felt we got a little more from him in Marc and Kays story, nevertheless what I am really trying to say is that we loved him and wanted more from him and we finally got his story. We met Lavender in the last story, JJ's and Sage's and now she is Rocco's love interest. I have to say that I wasn't crazy about her, I get that she was treated bad in her previous relationship so I get that she didn't believe that she was in Rocco's league but she got annoying really fast, how fast from the very first chapter to me, she or others referred to her being as snarky as Kay and Sage and I totally didn't get that since I love Kay, love Kay and Sage and enjoyed their banter, Lavender not so much. This was perfect. Poor Rocco has been after Lavender for months and finally gets his chance. Sweet Lavender though is shy and can’t seem to form any coherent words around Rocco. The shenanigans between Rocco and his friends and the rest of the family is what makes this story. Rocco helps Lavender find her worth and we get to witness their beautiful story. I’m glad that it doesn’t take them long to actually get together and we just get to witness them growing. The rest of the gang is just as funny as ever. This is entertaining, funny, and steamy. I can’t wait to see what Nikki Mays comes up with next. Could it be Holly?

Lavender is so hot for Rocco that she becomes tongue tied around him and can't speak. So she talks to everyone else that's with them. Rocco is in love with Lavender but can't get her to talk to him. Then one night in Vegas with tequila shots and they wake up the next morning in bed not able to remember the night before. She sneaks out before he wakes. A couple weeks later Lavender finds out she pregnant and knows who the daddy has to be since she's not been with any else in the last 2 years. That's when things really start happening. Between hormones going crazy, a man that she can't get rid of and an ex boyfriend that's stalking her. Wow, just wow. Great story.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I loved this story about Lavender and Rocco. This story builds on characters introduced in previous stories. Rocco is a cop who had tried to get Lavender to notice him, but she ignores him. Lavender is a kindergarten teacher and she had a serious crush on Rocco, but is to scared to talk to him. After a drunken night in Vegas after her sister gets married, she and Rocco share a crazy night. Not their home she finds out she's pregnant. But is freaking. Justice For You was a fantastic laugh until you cry story about Rocco an SAPD SWAT officer with a heart of gold and Lavender a woman with insecurities due to a douche bag ex boyfriend. When a night in Vegas, too many tequila shots, and a sneaky, meddling best friend creates something unexpected and miraculous. Nikki Mays has created a wonderfully funny well written story filled with laughter, crazy, lovable friends, witty humor, danger, passion, and love. Readers will be captivated by this new story by Nikki Mays and these ridiculously funny yet crazy guys of the SAPD SWAT and the strong willed women they love. I loved this new book.

Another mashing hit from Nikki Mays. This is the fifth book in this series and they are just getting better and better. Rocco has been after Lavender for ever, so when they finally hooked up in Vegas he thought he hit the jackpot. Just one little detail, Lavender left before he woke up. So he keeps trying and when she tells him that she is pregnant he is shocked and overjoyed. She will finally stop running and let him in or will she? This story will have you laughing out loud, glued till the end to see what happens. This is a must read for sure. I can't wait too see if there is more to come.

So, I gotta admit that this was a good really fun read from start to finish. I loved the way the author started the story and the way Lavender’s inner dialogue ran so smoothly with an upbeat tone. I was team Lavender from the get go.
Added to this sweet, sensitive and insecure heroine was Rocco, the epitome of Lavender’s dream.
Such an entertaining journey as we see Rocco was totally into Lavender and does his best to prove that she is his one and only.
I liked the way the author had this likeable couple connect for their HEA.

This story omg had me rotfl Rocco and Violet have to be my favorite couple of the series. Rocco having been trying to get her attention and Violet being tongue tied things didn’t happen the way they should until a trip to Vegas and too much tequila leading to them waking up in bed together. Violet sneaking out and Rocco being ignored by her until the unexpected happens sneaks literally throws them together.
This story is such a fun read. Once I started it I knew I had to finish it.

Sweet and Romantic Drama

This is the first book that I have read by Nikki Mays and I really liked it. As this is Book 5 in the SAPD Swat series I was not sure if you really need to read the books in order or not, as sometimes the characters and story-lines are quite interconnected in some series. But Justice for You can be read as a stand-alone even though there is character overlap. If the previous books in this series are similar to this one then I will be going back to read them along with any more that Nikki writes.
