Badd Daddy is the 12th story in the Badd Brothers Series and it follows the story of Lucas and Olivia. Now, I'll be 100% honest with you, I didn't really know what I was getting myself into with this book. I think I've only read one book in this series and have so many that I really need to get caught up on. Even with being behind in this series, the synopsis of this one was too hard to pass up and let me tell you, this book does not disappoint.

Lucas and Olivia had my attention from their very f

I have to say that I loved this latest installment in the Badd family. Lucas Badd is one grumpy and stubborn man with a very disappointing past. Olivia Goode is a widow with 5 grown daughters who's making it on her own as an interior designer in Alaska. They're unlikely friends and an even more impossible couple. Olivia sees something in Lucas that he deosn't see. She thinks he's funny, obscene, and is determined to lift his spirits. Lucas is entranced with 'Liv. She's an angel to him and he fin ...more

Reviewing on behalf of Relentless Book Chics Ramblings and Reviews

A great surprise; Lucas Badd is my favourite Badd.

I’m a huge fan of this author and was mourning the loss of the Badd brothers so I was really happy to see that Lucas Badd would be telling his story.

Lucas Badd has spent most of his life being drunk so he was a useless dad to his 3 sons. The history between him and his twin brother kept him far away from Ketchikan, Alaska but now he’s back, a year sober and hoping to rebuild his r

Book 12 in this series and it just keeps giving. I thought this series was over after book 8 but with new family members coming to the table, moving it forward. This book is about Lucas Badd and for me it was one of most emotional of all the series to date. This book most definitely didn't disappoint at all.

Lucas and Olivia are complete opposite and although they are they are completely ment to be. They start out a building a friendship, Lucas however doesn't feel like he much deserves Olivia in

Just when you think you have met them all and have gotten to know all of the Badd boys, in walks the Badd-est of them all...Lucas Badd, father to the triplet cousins of the original Badd brothers in the first books of this series. Yep, Roman, Remington and Ramsey's father Lucas is living in the same little Alaskan town as all of the other Badds and he is something else. Gruff, grumpy, vulgar language, and in bad shape. He's on the wagon, out of shape, still limping from a bad leg break in an aut ...more

"I shouldn't enjoy the way he looked at me—I didn't have the heart space for a man larger than life like Lucas Badd."

Um...I'm rethinking silver fox. Now I'm moving toward #GrizzlyFox or #GrumpyFox with some silver thrown in. Lucas is the father of mountainous grown men that he calls his 'boys'. Doesn't it just make you want to start singing ♫♫ #BaddBoys?♫♫ He was raised in Ketchikan, Alaska so it's home... a place he's been running from for 40 yrs. I've been so intrigued to finally lea

When Badd meets Goode….
What a surprise Lucas’ story was! If you are a reader of the Badd Brothers series than you are more than familiar how this father of triplets shaped his son’s lives. The brothers had few good memories of their Dad and now the time for secrets was over…

Lucas was back among family but that didn’t mean he was actually living. Forgiveness. Acceptance. Happiness. He was stuck in an isolated rut with a future he couldn’t see. Thankfully, it wasn’t too late… Olivia was in Alaska

This is the 12th book in the series and I’m completely invested, and I can’t get enough of the Badd Family.
This is one of the more emotional books in the series and I loved every minute of it. I was dreading the end because I didn’t know what was going to happen.
In the previous books we find out that Lucas is an alcoholic and very stubborn to say the least. He wasn’t much of a father to is 3 boys Roman, Remington, Ramsey. The history between Lucas and his twin brother has kept him away from Ketc

Dear Jasinda,

From the moment I started this series with Badd Motherf*cker I fell in love. Fell in love with the characters, the town, and how this family was coming together. Actually, through these books, I've added Alaska to my bucket list of places to visit.

With each book, each character we met, the pieces of this family were coming together. Pieces that kept us coming back for more. Needless to say, even after you wrapped the series (or so we thought) with Badd Medicine I was always curiou

I can't even begin to tell you how long I've been waiting for this story to happen. I wasn't even sure if it would happen, but when it came to the Badd men, there was a big hole in the story that needed to be filled. And the only one who could fill that would the source himself, Lucas Badd aka Badd Daddy.

I had no idea what to expect this one, but it's definitely the most emotional story yet in this extensive series. I've read about 70% of the books in the Badd Brothers series, so I'd say that I

OH Just WOW. The Badd family just keeps growing and so does the joy in my heart. This family just melts me in every way. They are strong, stubborn, commanding and have no trouble speaking their minds. They are family oriented and loyal to a fault. These men know what they want and do whatever it takes to get it, especially when it comes to the women in their lives. When it comes to their women we see their inner soft side as well as some very heated moments. Kudos Ms. Wilder for writing amazing ...more

I hate to admit that I had a hard time getting into this latest installment of one of my favorite series ever... I thought maybe it was one of the brothers becoming a dad based on the title ( I don't read blurbs).... When I discovered the characters I instantly thought I was not going to enjoy this story.... The twins dad has had a bad rep when mentioned in past books so why would I want to read his story right?!?

Talk about opposites attract. Lucas Badd was everything I didn't know I was missing. Lucas hasn't been the best father, in fact, he's been pretty crappy, but now he's back. A year sober and ready to prove to himself and his family that he can be what they need. Only, he needs to prove that to himself first.

Olivia is starting over. Her husband passed away and her girls are grown, so now it's time for her to grow her business. Meeting the man that works in the hardware store wasn't part of that pl

I received a free copy of this book from the author.

If you've read the Badd Brother series you know the last three novels focused on the Badd Triplets - Ram, Rem, & Rome. Badd Daddy focuses on their father, Lucas. As it turns out Lucas is the identical twin to the other 8 Badd Brothers father, Liam.

Due to events in his teen years Lucas allowed them to define the rest of his life. He missed out on a lot of his boys life as well as his own life. Choices he made came back to bite him in the but

Badd Daddy by Jasinda Wilder is book 12 in her Badd Brothers Series and tells Lucas' emotional story.
In previous books, Lucas was the hard headed alcoholic who eats nails for breakfast. In Badd Daddy he shows an entirely other side of himself. He was in a bad accident and is still suffering from the consequences. His health is failing, he's estranged from his sons and at the end of the day he's alone.
Then comes Olivia Goode into his life and she's like a ray of sunshine to him. He knows he has i

Lucas Badd was everything. He was nothing I thought he was from his previous mentions in the Badd series.

I loved his story ❤

I felt for Lucas. His character Was executed with such depth of understanding why he is the way he is.

Author Jasinda Wilder developed Lucas as one of those characters we could relate to when it comes to changing for the better and having that someone that motivates you to, and that someone is Yourself!

Olivia Goode is the perfect push he needs to snap him out of his funk a

It was nice to wrap up the Badd series learning more about how it all began with the father/uncle of the boys. Lucas is a little rough around the edges and makes a surprising love match with Liv, who seems to be out of his league at first. Lucas finally decides to work toward making himself a healthier and better person. He knows he is long overdue in making a better life for himself and in making things right with his sons, who he has not been a great father to. The positive changes he is worki ...more

Well I didn’t know I was curious about Lucas until I started on his story. Lots of blanks were filled in and I enjoyed the push to be better even when your youth has packed up and left.

Another great trip to Ketchikan and when you get to the end....if you love these Alaskan men....well you will giddy and one happy reader!

Lucas wasn't exactly a favourite, at least if you have read the triplets' stories, but I have to say I really loved his story!
He might be a grizzly bear but underneath he is a softie. I also loved how he transformed himself and to finally hear what happened way back when.
Olivia is such an amazing woman. I love her so much and want to be her best friend. She soldiers on and she faces everything head on. she is not afraid to speak her mind.
These two together are captivating right from the start an

Ahhh!!! This was amazing!!!

I was so excited to see this title released!! I LOVED me some Badd men and was excited to get some more! I will admit to being nervous about Lucas getting a book. He wasn’t really portrayed in the best light in previous books, so I wasn’t sure how this was going to go...but it was perfection!! And to say that my fingers were crossed for more when we met Olivia and found out about her past and family would be a huge understatement...so I was SO happy with the epilogue!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!! WOW I was not disappointed! How adorable was Olivia Goode and Lucas Badd? Tooooooo cute. I love love love mature, grown, had lived life, love. The best kind to have! Their last names said it all....... only neither was perfect or horrible. Yes he was a drunk, yes he was sort of set in his ways, and yes a horrible parent......BUT there was room for change. Oh and change we got! I absolutely love this one and am ecstatic that the Goode Girls are coming to town! Yaaasssssssss! ...more

When the 11th book came out I thought it would be the last one in this series.. but NO & OMG it does not disappoint.
First of I love the way all the books are written. It never really happens much but Jasinda Wilder puts so much depth in every story, it fills the book so beautifully.
I am so happy that we get the closure with this book, which has been in my mind the last couple books.

I love the Badd family!

Here we have Lucas Badd. You could say he's the patriarch of the bunch of them. And he is, to an extent. In this book, we learn about Lucas, and his twin brother, Liam, who is the father of the original Badd brothers. We see what drove them to be the men they became. And boy! What a story that was!

We also get to see Lucas fall in love with Olivia Goode. Their love was sweet and just perfect. It took me a bit to really like Liv. At the same time, I sort of identified with

Awesome book

OMG I just finished this book. It answered some of the questions that I had from the other books that are in the series. This book is awesome. The scene he had in the bar with all the nephews and his sons was really hard both on him and on them. The love affair that he has with Liv and the chemistry is amazing. I absolutely loved this book and I am so glad that there’s going to be more books in this incredible series!

What another great book in the Badd series. I must admit I was a bit sceptical about this book, not knowing if I wanted to read about the older generation, but I’m so glad that I did. This book is about the triplets Dad, Lucas, and we find out the reason behind why he was absent from life in general. He meets a ‘friend’ called Liv Goode who has a number of children herself. This book very nicely lines up a new/extended series for Badd/Goode and I can’t wait for more. So excited.

Jasinda never disappoints her readers!

I wasn't sure how this book would go. I love that Lucas was able to get on the right track and succeed. I also enjoyed the story line and that he was able to find love again with Liv. I was most excited that the Goods girls open it up for more books!!!
