Emily R. King's Everafter Song is the third and final installment in the authors The Evermore Chronicles. It has been a month since the end of Into the Hourglass. Protagonist Everley Donovan is a wanted woman. She has been charged by Queen Aislinn of being a sorceress with a clock heart. She's also been accused of murdering her own Uncle Holden. Everley's cat and mouse game with Prince Killian Markham has been set back by

I have absolutely adored this trilogy and now with this final instalment Everley has to make the ultimate sacrifice. She’s such a brave character and it’s been impossible not to like her as she constantly gets outmanoeuvred by the tricky Killian. Killian is without doubt a truly vile character who never hesitates in his plan to cheat time and enslave humans. His numerous crimes are heinous and include murder and even the death of a world. This time Everley has to chase him to the land where ...more

I received this novel from net galley and the publisher. Thank you! All thoughts and opinions are my own.
The conclusion to the Evermore Chronicles will have Everley Donovan making the ultimate sacrifice, but can she do it? Killian Markham, the prince of elves, has a devious plan and is always steps ahead of Everley Donovan and her friends. Everley has been Killian's pawn for too long. Killian has allies and plans to wake the giants from their slumber to finish what was started hundreds of years

I absolutely loved this series! It's been so fun to read! Each book was peppered with influences from many different fairy tales, some more obvious than others. I loved seeing all the different inspirations throughout the series.

EVERAFTER SONG is the third and final book in this series, and it was an action packed, exciting conclusion. I thought it was the perfect ending. I really enjoyed how Emily R. King made you care about her whole cast of characters and not just the main ones. I even found

A good conclusion to this trilogy. I enjoy the strong characters, the representation through a diverse and inclusive band. A well rounded story with just the right balance of battle and team. Not to be read out of sequence, this is a series worth binging!

Full disclosure- I received a copy of the book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review

This was a good ending to the trilogy. It actually read faster than the previous 2 books. I just wish the epilogue had shared a bit more about what happened to certain characters. But otherwise, I'm happy with how everything turned out.

I received a copy of this in exchange for my honest review. I enjoyed this book, but found myself skimming over several parts because I felt there was a lot of detail. I loved Jameson and Everley. He was so steadfast even when she was hard to love. The ending gave me hope

This is the third and last book in the Evermore Chronicles Series. I gave 5- to each book in the series because they are equally great. This series is filled with action, suspense, courage, surprises, and, of course, love. The last book concluded the series in a spectacular way.

In the last book, Everley is in hiding because of the queen’s false accusations. She is still mourning the loss of her family and is determined to find Killian Markham and make his pay for his sins. With the help of her

Wow. What can I say I loved books one and two in the trilogy and EverAfter Song did not disappoint. From a strong female heroine named Everly with a clock for a heart to the wide array of friends she has gained along the way some other strong females like her dear friends who love each other the Cat and the Fox to Vevina and Quinn a child who has grown into herself, and lastly an elf born male who uses a glamour to show the world

The latest installment in The Evermore Chronicles brings everything to an end. The series, battles, suffering.

If you haven't read the first two books, don't read this review. You might be spoiled for them.

The chase for Markham continues and Everley reaches new worlds, in order to put a stop to his plans of taking over the worlds. While he is the elf prince, he's not fit to rule. If you've read the previous books, you know all the awful things he's done, throughout the years and centuries; he's

Wow. Just wow. Utterly speechless with tears in my eyes and so much feelings in my chest as I finished this novel. We pick up with a few months after where we ended with Into The Hourglass, Evie and her friends have taken refuge and have a simple life, albeit, in hiding, but they know it cannot last forever. As all of the group of friends are trying to heal from what occurred, they know that the battle is not over

To be completely honest, I was never in love with this series. I enjoyed the first book, but by the time I started Everafter Song, I just wasn't invested anymore.

It's not a bad novel. The writing is good, and the world building is extravagant (if not overly complicated). And I liked the heroine, too. But in this story, I was just bored. None of the characters felt three-dimensional, the magic system was messy and confusing, and the pacing dragged and then jumped and ultimately felt weak and

This book was a bittersweet ending to a series I thought was absolutely brilliant. Everley Donovan is a hunted woman on a quest to finally bringing her enemy, Killian Markham, down. I didn’t enjoy this one as much as the others, but they were still good. It’s in this book you finally get to see Everley fully developed into a young woman who can give love and receive it in return. You also see the value in her relationships. In her quest to avenge her murdered family, she makes an entirely new ...more

With this book the Evermore Chronicles ends and that's kind of sad. This series was enjoyable to the last and I'd definitely recommend it.

Everafter Song starts with them wondering what will happen but thanks to a magic beanstalk Everley and her companions explore more worlds. This book gives us a true introduction to the giants and we find out more about their past. There was also more of the elves and

I've been lucky enough to get to read all three volumes of this trilogy via Netgalley as they've been published over the course of this year, so it was great to get to the conclusion of the series. Evie's story comes to a satisfying conclusion, though an all too predictable happy end. There's a lot more giants and elves wreaking havoc in this one, and Father Time keeps being his

This next installment in the Evermore Chronicles was one that I will not soon forget. I loved this one even more than book one and two. It had a fairytale feel way more than the other two titles and I loved it so much. This third and sadly finally story in this series is so full of action and one fantastic conclusion that I didn't see coming. If you have fallen so in love with King's writing then this one is going to blow you away! This one will make you fall for each character as King leaves ...more

Thank you to Skyscape Publishing and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I personally thought this book was a weak ending to such a strong and magical series. It felt like the whole book was focused on revenge and I felt like it got old. I wanted to see more of Evie's relationships with her friends and Jamison. I still enjoyed the book, especially the part where she was in the giants world! It felt magical then. I just felt like this book lacked the magic that the other two ...more

This was a great final book in the series. I could not put it down. I needed my answers and I got most of them. It is sad that the series is an end because I had fallen in love with all of the characters. EVEN KILLIAN! mostly the dreamy Callahan. I loved that it showed us a glimpse of Killian's past and what it was that final made him turn down this path.

I really want some side story's of Killian before because all his drive touched so many people and I just really need him to have his old

Everly is nearing the end of her journey for revenge against Prince Killian. Force to make many hard decisions that impacts not only her own life but, everyone that she has ever met. I’ve adored this series and sad to see the end, but glad that the whole series finally all connected together and each piece of the puzzle was placed where destiny has decided.

Everafter Song was a strong ending to this trilogy. I felt like the first two books were just okay, but this one was so much better. I thought the ending was perfect, although I really would have enjoyed seeing what happened to all of the characters, not just the few that were mentioned. Overall, I would recommend this book as a quick and fun read.

What a sweet ending! This series captivated me with the first chapter of the first book. Enjoyable, easy read with romance and adventure.

Everley Donovan comes into her own in this exciting and unforgettable series closer.

If the series had a thesis, I think it would be these lines: “There will always be monsters. We can’t let them go unchallenged, or why get up in the morning and face the worlds?”

Everley faces down her monsters with the help of her friends. Ultimately, she is willing to sacrifice everything for what is right. Proving that even a broken girl with a clockheart can change the destiny of worlds.
