I've read the first 5 books in this series a while back. Since I'm apparently unable to finish series, I've only just read the last book and WHAT? For some reason I have rated the previous parts all super high.
Honestly, what was I thinking? Why did I like this so much?🤷🏼‍♀️

The story itself isn't even that bad. It's kind of interesting and original.
But Kai and Enzo are so overly dramatic about anything and everything.🙄
Even if something happens to someone else, it's their drama, it's so hard for them.

I don't know how else to explain it, but this book reads like an Amber Heard testimony.
“My dog stepped on a bee😩”-vibes.

*I've also lowered the previous books ratings to 3 stars.*

Wow, what a heart wrenching, explosive conclusion to this very intriguing series.

Just a quick note: This is the sixth and final book in the Truth or Lies series, which tells the story of Kai and Enzo. Please be sure to read the prequel and books one through five before reading this book.

This is the most heart wrenching of all the books in this series, with everything that has been going on it's a wonder that Kai and Enzo haven't already just given up. But these two are strong and they will fight for their love and their family until their dying breaths. This is probably one of the BEST series I have ever read and trust me when I say you don't want to miss it. It's a great dark romance series and I highly recommend it!

Enzo And Kai’s Emotionally Riveting Final Story Delivers With Unexpected Twists And Turns, Tears Of Joy And Sorrow, And A Way Forward.

This is book sixth and final book in the Truth or Lies series. Each book reads like a roller coaster, with unexpected gut-clenching twists and turns. Enzo and Kai both grew up in a brutal world, but one was raised in luxury and the other in extreme poverty. They have an undeniable connection, but every time they cross paths or begin to drop their defenses, something seems to pull them apart. There are many questions and many lies, but answers do come with patience. The books are best read back to back since the plot is very complex. This review attempts to summarize earlier books as a refresher for readers that didn’t just finish the prior book in the series.

From book one:

The myth that surrounds the Black name in Miami and beyond is legendary, demanding both fear and respect. Mr. Black rules Miami, where he runs Surrender, an invitation only club where deals are made by the high-powered members of the underground that frequent it. Mr. Black also runs many other clubs in Miami, has a fleet of yachts that he deals with, and runs a security firm. The fleet gives him access to the lawless waters of the ocean as well as the world beyond Miami.

Enzo Black, seventeen, grew up in comfort and has more money than he will ever need, but his life has not been easy. As the son of Mr. Black, he has an image to maintain. There is no room for feelings for a killer like him. Trained in the family business, he is expected to one day take over. His second hands are the two best friends he grew up with, Langston and Zeke. Having his trusted friends at his side in a dark world dominated by hardened criminals provides a welcome level of comfort. Langston is more brain, while Zeke is more brawn. Both are loyal. They are his family.

Katherine Miller, sixteen, hasn’t’ been to school in weeks, choosing to work and steal instead to help put food on the table and pay rent for the trailer she shares with her father. First on the list, however, is paying off her father’s debt. Kai’s mother died from cancer when she was small, leaving her father with medical expenses in the millions. The debt collectors have to be paid, and one day Kai will have to pay with her body, but she works and steals to delay that inevitability.

When Enzo and Kai meet by chance, they both feel electrified. Enzo’s feelings come to life despite himself, and Kai has never been so attracted to a boy before. But when they meet again, it is not by chance. Enzo has a job to do, and Kai is his job. He promises to let her leave town, but in a cruel twist of fate Kai is taken and sold to a cruel man named Jarod. Six years later Kai is back and she wants answers, but Enzo doesn’t want to give them. They play a game of Truth or Lies but Kai loses. Instead of getting answers, Enzo now owns her. He keeps her and sees to her health, but his trickery isn’t over. The two play a series of games as a means to get answers that neither willingly wants to share.

Just when Kai begins to recover her strength and the pair begins to bond, her whole world is turned upside down. She learns that becoming the next Mr. Black is earned, and Enzo confesses he didn’t actually earn it because he let her live six year ago. The next Mr. Black will earn his or her place according to the rules set forth by the last two to compete for the title: their fathers. The Rinaldi and Miller families have competed for the title for generations. As only children, Enzo and Kai must compete since it is now known that she is not dead. There will be five competitions, each with a clear winner. Three out of five wins the title. It is a dangerous game, meant to flush out the weakest and leave the strongest to run the empire until the next generation of Rinaldis and Millers comes along.

From book two:

Enzo, twenty-four, and Kai, twenty-three, must run Mr. Black’s empire together until a winner is determined. Enzo has run it as Mr. Black for three years already, and though Kai has great street smarts and is quite capable of standing up for herself, she lacks experience as a leader. When things get personal, the two clash professionally. Kai uses her equal footing with Enzo to hurt him, but it comes with a price. When the first round of the game begins, they had reached a tentative peace, but winning comes at a price as well, as Kai learns.

Heartbroken by Kai's betrayal, as evidenced by the rumors that damage his reputation in the underworld, and not denied by Kai herself later, Enzo loses his careful composure and does the unthinkable. He arranges to sell her to Milo Wallace. Another round of Truths, though, has him and Kai both spiraling out of control and the entire team scrambling. Kai had only been in hiding to heal from the beating she got from Milo when she secured his ring in the game, and Enzo admits it had been her father, not him, that sold her years ago.

From book three:

An alliance is formed with Rowan Evan who rescues Kai from Milo Wallace, but a war is simmering. Enzo, Kai, Langston and Zeke board the Savage and head out to sea to keep their whereabouts unknown and to buy time. Liesel Dunn, Enzo’s friend from his teen years, is forced to join them due to her role in the first game - as Enzo's date. Liesel makes no secret of her feelings for Enzo, and he doesn't do quite enough to discourage her. He still considers Liesel his “everything." Her history with Enzo presents both a challenge and an opportunity for Kai.

The truths unveiled before departure leave Kai and Enzo damaged. Kai deals with the fact that both her father and Enzo sold her as well as the many lies she grew up with. Enzo struggles with his guilt and his determination to make things right with Kai. He grows emotionally during this time. He wavers between needing Kai forever and sending her away from Black for her own good at the first opportunity. A second game takes place aboard ship, but Zeke and Liesel get pulled into it. Kai’s relationship with Zeke is strengthened as a result, but Enzo damages his with Liesel, whom he no longer considers his everything. Enzo wins, tying the game. The war must take place before they can all return home. Blood spills in this heartbreaking battle. Zeke is shot protecting Kai, then his body washes overboard in a storm. Milo escapes so the battle must continue another day, but Black isn’t prepared to face off and win against the enemies Milo organized. Enzo and Kai both make foolish and out of character choices in their attempts to make a deal with Milo, which conveniently lead to another cliffhanger as readers wait to see who Milo chooses to take captive.

From book four:

Enzo willingly surrenders to Milo; he is ready to win the title and hand the empire, and his life, over to Milo in exchange for a promise to leave Kai alone. Kai and Langston are devastated, but Liesel shows up to motivate them. At Surrender, Kai discovers Enzo has been quietly saving women from trafficking in addition to running the underworld, cementing her belief that she must take his place. The third brutal game brings them together again at Surrender, several weeks later. Enzo wins. Kai takes advantage of Enzo’s injuries and convinces Milo to take her instead. Once Enzo realizes she is gone, he sets to work on a rescue plan. Just Enzo goes in, Kai is brutally raped by Milo, who shares his devastating story with her. Milo, Felix, and Piedro were Enzo's half brothers. They always knew about Enzo and were trained to be backup candidates to compete for the Black title. At age thirteen, their father had brought Enzo to them and ordered Enzo to shoot one as a test. Milo's motivation was revenge for Piedro’s death. Kai kills Milo during his attack. Six weeks later she is still refusing to speak to Enzo and uncertain how to handle the fact that she is pregnant, doesn't know who the father is, and is immersed in a dangerous world.

From book five:

Enzo now fully embraces his love for Kai, but she continues to shut him out as she works through her trauma. She remains secluded, but she grows very close with Langston and Liesel in the privacy of her room. Kai is convinced that Milo was correct in stating that the Black organization would reject their love and that any children she and Enzo had would be in danger, so she plans to complete the contest as required and disappear. The fourth game lasts one month. Each day a panel of five employees votes on which candidate should lead the Black empire the following day. Whoever ultimately becomes Black must have the support of the employees or they will revolt. Kai, Enzo, and Felix play a messy and dangerous game of politics with the crew as they try to convince them of their loyalty. When the fourth game does finally come to an end, the situation escalates. More truths are shared before the book ends in a devastating cliffhanger.

Enzo and Kai’s relationship is further tested in this book. Kai’s thoughts are confused following Milo’s attack, but she knows she must think about her unborn child now. The best way to keep the baby and Enzo safe is to go into hiding and keep the baby’s existence a secret. At the same time, Enzo has grown into an emotionally mature man. Without hesitation he puts his love for Kai first, no longer caring about keeping the title of Mr. Black. If not for their involvement in the Black organization, they might have achieved their HEA in this book.

In book six:

Kai and her father slowly bond in his small Alaska cabin. He is apologetic about selling her but she doesn’t forgive him. He is in touch with Clifton, one of Enzo’s loyal men, so he shares that Enzo is alive, but warns Kai never to contact him because his crew would never allow them both to live. Worried about Kai, her father introduces her to his friend Beckett with the intention of helping her to move on eventually, but it only angers her. Nevertheless, Beckett is funny and kind and becomes a friend.

Enzo, having lost Kai, his baby, Langston, and Liesel in Felix’s attack on his home, is set on revenge. Taking out every last enemy responsible for the death of his loved ones, to include the traitors within the Black organization, is the only thing that drives him. But he knows he is lucky to have that desire when he comes upon an alive but withdrawn and broken Langston. He and Langston set about their vengeance together, but it soon becomes clear that Langston cannot continue on. He needs help. Enzo reluctantly leaves him behind as he follows a lead to Felix, but Felix manages to stay alive another day when he shares the news with Enzo that Kai is very much alive. Moreover, she is falling in love with a man on Felix’s payroll. A man that will kill her.

In this final book, the fifth and final round of the competition for the Black title looms as Enzo targets Felix, and Kai’s due date approaches. The mysterious Beckett is a wild card. On a side note, watch for Beckett in the spin-off series, Sinful Truths. Enzo and Kai also make an appearance there. Here, however, they finally earn their hard-fought happy ending.

Enzo and Kai’s emotionally riveting final story delivers with unexpected twists and turns, tears of joy and sorrow, and a way forward. This series wrap up their own story, but the seeds are planted for multiple spin-off series. The story is nicely written. It is plot-driven, with heartbreaking curveballs that sock you in the gut. The characters are well-developed. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between Enzo and Kai. I rate this book 4.5 stars.

This was the final book in their story. It was dark and rough just like the rest. Enzo and Kai went through so much. They lost many close friends family along the way. So I was just happy that in the end they were able to finally get their happy ending.

What a great way to end the 6 book series, Truth or Lies, that has had me waiting with anticipation at the end of each month to see what else life could possibly throw at the contenders to rule the Black Organization- Kai and Enzo. Ella Miles certainly gave them a hard fought, dangerous, twisty, suspenseful love story that turned out to be one wild and crazy rollercoaster ride to the end of the line! Where and how does this end, you may wonder??? Well, start at book 1, venture through every single one, in order which won't be a hardship because this story will drag you under it's deep, dark spell and keep you there til the very end of book 6.

So much happened in Consumed by Truths, it almost made my head spin trying to keep up. Some sad times, yes, a few killer surprises and A VERY satisfying end with heartwarming moments among the craziness that seems to follow Kai and Enzo, Truth, no Lies!!! Keep your ears and eyes open for something new from Ella, just in case you had some questions that weren't answered..can you say spinoff...yes please!

I was given an early copy of this book to review. These are my honest and unbiased thoughts regarding this story.

**I received a review copy of this book in exchange for an honest voluntary review. All opinions are my own and not influenced by my source.**

Hands down, this is my favourite Ella Miles Series...for now.

I always get worried about series that follow the same couple for multiple books but this finale proved that it can be done. I loved that I had no idea what would happen next. It kept me on my toes. It started a little slow but those moments were needed to make the ending more impactful.

I think I felt every emotion when reading this finale and for me, that's always a sign of a great read.

She answered all of my burning questions and didn't rush things so I feel very fulfilled by this book! It flowed perfectly and brought me to tears! It's just beautiful and devastating and perfect!

This is the last book in a 6 book series! I HIGHLY recommend you read it but be prepared to binge the entire series in one sitting, it's that good!

*Ella makes it very clear who the next couple in the spin off series is going to be about and I CAN NOT FREAKING WAIT!!*

I received an ARC of this book and am willingly giving my honest review.

I think I cried the least in this final installment. I'm not sure I could have imagined a better ending for Kai and Enzo than the one Ella created. I've loved this series and the final book doesn't disappoint. It stayed true to the characters and storylines...and it's left me hungry for the spin-off series.

This entire book was an emotional rollercoaster. Just when you think everything’s going right something changes the tides and just when you think nothing could get worse you get a glimpse of hope again. I’m entirely in love with the characters and i can’t wait to see what’s in store for the side characters in their books

Good story, grammar is bad

Great story! Keeps you hooked from beginning to end. Grammar could use some work but you can push that to the side.

This is the 6th and final book in the Truth or Lies Book and I do recommend reading them in order. This read begins where the last book ended. Enzo believe everyone he loves is dead and he plans to destroy Felix. One his search for his half-brother he makes some very important discoveries that give him hope. Will Kai and Enzo find their HEA and will the game ever be over? Loads of twists and turns that leave you happy one moment and crying the next. The story is fast-paced with loads of drama and suspense. The characters are amazing with so much depth. I was hooked from beginning to end. I loved it!

I think I made a mistake , it’s a personal mistake but others may feel as I do . I should have waited and bought this series when it was all published ...not one at a time a month apart. It worked the first 3 books but the story went down hill for me after that and when I reached the last book ...this book. I just couldn’t stick with it . People returning from the dead , people dying for love , arms being chopped off ....the whole thing took on a cartoonish air . Delivering twins without medical care ....too much

I know I’m in the minority. I fully appreciate that , I’ll read this books again someday and I may change my mind

FATE IS A LONELY HUNTER UNTIL LOVE AND TRUTH TRUMP LIES **3.5 stars**

“Whether we are telling a truth or a lie, there is one thing we both agree – love wins”
[FYI: My reaction to this finale was honest, but totally unexpected]
This book was to be the explosive conclusion to the absorbing Truth Or Lies series, which had me in its thrall since the beginning. It opens as a solo journey of revenge. Enzo is just a walking shell of a man betrayed, on a mission to avenge the deaths of all he holds dear. But beware a man who has nothing left to lose after believing he has lost everything . This hollowed version of Enzo as a one-man killing machine leaves nothing but destruction in his wake with one goal in mind – to hunt down the men who betrayed him and to kill Felix (his nemesis half-brother) who is like a cancer eating into the Black Empire and for killing Enzo’s loved ones. We know all this going into the book and that Enzo mistakenly believes that Kai is dead, although she’s actually alive in hiding and pregnant, and she has no idea how or where he is. Both are lost and directionless without each other.

Crazy clapping hands. I was literally champing at the bit over this fatalistic, angsty setup. Dual alternating chapters ended in mini-cliffhangers that had me so anxious. I expected pedal to the metal from first page to last. Instead of a snappy pace and an action-filled storyline that would drag me kicking and screaming to nail-biting resolution – it was repetitious; stuck in the characters heads; Kai and Enzo were separated most of the time and wallowing in despair with minimal story momentum. Everyone else was dead. Well, not quite … but I’ll get to that. The men get sappy in this book and Enzo cries more than any woman I’ve ever known. And I’m supposed to trust characters I don’t even know and accept that Kai is still a kickass action heroine despite her condition … several times. I love that Enzo gets in touch with his vulnerable side and isn’t afraid to let Kai take the lead or best him at things, but the story was flat and mostly actionless.

Besides the closeness of Kai and Enzo, there was so much other good stuff that was brewing, like the meaning of true brotherhood and kinship beyond blood relation. But half-siblings kept popping out of the woodwork, along with other family and character twists for shock value that overtook the story with little time for character development. And then there’s the gender switch of Kai in control, which was great for female empowerment. For me, that was all drowned out by the monotony of inner thoughts and filler and hashing over the past and feelings of loss and trust. Key characters materialized in cameos just to disappear once again, or pop up on cue. Like, what happened to all that hot momentum?

The book was almost over (80%) by the time anything substantial goes down. When it did, it felt rushed, was over in a flash and very OTT. There were implausibility and timeline issues repeatedly with different characters, and enough resurrections of the dead to make me dizzy. The conclusion works out happily and dealt with loose ends and some nice payoffs, but there wasn’t any “wow” moment at the end to the competition or dealing with Felix . It all felt nicely contrived, but anti-climactic after 5 books of build-up.

I mulled over the story and even writing this review for days. Mine is definitely the unpopular opinion, but it’s honest, so put away your pitchforks. From the first book that introduced teen Kai and Enzo and put them on this disastrously crazy path of love, lies, truth, endless danger, torture, and death, I was totally and utterly invested in their relationship and the imaginative scenario that the author conjured up to test their love and stamina from beginning to end. I mostly ignored proofreading, grammar, and execution issues. The author’s imagination held me fast, and the relationship between Kai and Enzo grew by leaps and bounds over insurmountable obstacles and deepened their love. I was caught up in their running game of “truth and lies”, and where the torturous competition for leadership of the Black Empire would ultimately end and take them as a couple. And, I absolutely loved how the author kept shaking things up with unexpected twists and turns that pulled the rug out from under me EVERY SINGLE TIME. All this built toward what I considered to be the finale to end all finales. Instead, the conclusion was more of a whimper than a bang, compared to the overall series. Wish I could be more specific without spoilers.

The way the finale plays out may well be fine for everyone who has held onto this tense-filled exercise by their fingertips, but sadly there were numerous execution issues and a disappointingly rushed final competition/winner/aftermath. That doesn’t mean that I didn’t love the overall journey (all 5 previous books) and most of the writing (the author has a killer imagination and flair for relationships) … I was just let down unexpectedly by the finale to an otherwise great concept and terrific series. Hopefully, most readers won't agree with me.

My true rating is 4.5 stars. This is the final book in a 6 book series. I gave each of those previous books 4 stars because of the unknown ultimate ending of the series. Do not try to read this book as a standalone. You will not understand what's going on. Go back and read the entire series, you won't regret it.

Like all the others, this is a dark story, however I felt like it was a little lighter than the previous books. Enzo and Kai lose people - those they love and those they hate. Some are gone forever and some are gone only a while. The constant now is their love for each other.

I don't want to say anything that would be a spoiler so that doesn't leave a lot. We know at the end of book 5 that Enzo thinks Kai is dead, yet we all knew she wasn't. Anyone who's reading the series knows it won't be that simple and Enzo will figure things out. There are other unexpected twists and turns, of course. I guessed at the ending long before it came and found it mostly satisfying, however it was still just a bit of a cliffhanger. We know the end of Enzo and Kai's story, kind of, but other stories are left open. Another series is coming to handle those.

This story felt less violent, although there is definitely violence. It is mostly about the ultimate power of love. Overall, it was a worthwhile series but this is not a light and fluffy romance. It is dark and twisted. But sometimes dark and twisted can be satisfying.

Don’t … I say Don’t ... Don’t. Make. Enzo. Mad.

The hunt is on…. woe be to those being hunted. You see, Enzo is both — brains and brawn.

Felix is smart, but cocky.

And Kai? Well, she's Kai. Does Felix really want to mess with her?

Uh Huh…. it’s time to feel sorry for Felix. But wait for it. The timing has to be jusssssst right. And Felix? He doesn’t know when to quit. His arrogance just could be his undoing.

Remember pregnant Kai? She now is a Mama Bear. If you thought she was strong, feisty and protective in the other books, just wait till you see her now.

And who on earth is Beckett? Friend or foe? The family grows. He plays an integral role. The question is, what team is he on? We know betrayal has to be involved, don’t we?

I’ll leave you with a big clue for now and the future. When a body falls into the sea, never to surface again, does the sea protect it? Answer that question and you will have filled in a BIG piece of the puzzle. It’s what many of us will and have questioned, many will and have wished for and many will love to see… the puzzle pieces snugly fitting together. Just know this. There are those who protect and there are those who protect the protectors. And then there are those protectors who have learned to live in the shadows and survive. Enjoy!

omg...what a story, what a book, what a conclusion. I was tense and my stomach felt twisted while reading this. The suspense of wondering whether Kai or Enzo would live or die had me holding my breath. There are no words to explain the excellence of this series and how this book ended. The ending was painful, tragic, heartbreaking, but when Kai gave birth that eclipsed most of the horrible things that had happened and the lives sacrificed to save Kai was amazingly touching and miraculous. After Kai gave birth she realized there was more to love than she realized. She found a new love to receive and give. Enzo astonished me. When family kept popping up he had a hard time trusting. He trusted no one except Kai. But because he trusted Kai he would defer to her judgement and he dealt with each new surprise as they arose. This is a must read. I realize there are six books in this series, but I tell you now, it was worth every minute I spent reading this. You will definitely not be disappointed nor regret the time spent on this. I highly recommend this.

Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Action-packed
Haunting
Happily Ever After
Informative
Inspirational
Page-turner
Realistic
Scary
Tear-jerker
Tragic
Twisted
Unpredictable
Wonderful characters

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "CONSUMED BY LIES" Brilliantly, Exceptional, Phenominally well written conclusion to one of the best series you just have to have.
This love story of Kai Miller and Enzo Black is one that you'll never forget it's dark intense, dramatic, heartwrenching, captivating, intriguing, traumatic experiences, abuse, heartache, action, and twists that keep you glued to your seat.
This was such a mindblowing conclusion so much happens you don't even expect to happen it's addicting all consuming you can't put this book down until finished there is always something that's appears you least expect.
I definitely recommend to get this entire series so well worth the read you look forward to each book not only is the storyline remarkable but the cast awe inspiring they pull you right it their drama so meant heartfelt moments and tears in this conclusion and OMG moments you don't see coming.
I am so looking forward to the more of the if the Truth & Lies Series the new book coming come in November called " SINFUL TRUTH" the first book in this series I hope they include sone of the previous characters and I hope Beckett get his own story.

Would I Recommend? Yes
My Review: I’m reviewing books 4-6 as a whole (Stolen by Truths, Possessed by Lies and Consumed by Truths). Wow, this series is intense! Our H/h were put through the ringer. Book 4, Stolen by Truths, was the hardest to get through truthfully due to all the trauma, violence and sadness; but after that it was pure adrenaline, danger, redemption and most of all love. I really enjoyed the Truth or Lies series and I adored Enzo and Kai together, they are absolutely perfectly matched. Fantastic storytelling and can’t wait to read more from this author!

3.5 stars rounded up to 4
The final book in the series had so much tension, and also unbelievable situations.
Wrapping up the final challenge, Kai hiding out with her father/uncle while she's pregnant (even though she wasn't supposed to be able to get pregnant and we're offered no explanation on how this happened), we meet Eli Beckett (who, surprise, is Enzo's brother), Enzo miraculously finds everyone he thought was dead (him finding Liesel immediately after walking into the first bar he sees in LA...🤔), Enzo just showing up in Alaska, finding out Kai is having twins, Kai's dad dying saving all of their lives (and her subsequent very quick grieving, like she's over it almost immediately), and the cluster that was the final challenge (the rules apparently allow for everyone involved to be even further involved).
So many things were so far out in left field and outrageously unbelievable, but I stopped expecting plot consistency around book 3.
Now, despite the believability, or lack thereof, I got so invested in these characters and I can't lie, I got choked up quite a few times, especially there at the end.
I do feel like everything was wrapped up cleanly. It was good for closure, but it was also almost too clean.
That being said, now that I've finished the series, I'd still recommend it to friends who are capable of enjoying a book without inspecting it too closely.

"I don't care if it's fate, karma , God, coincidence, or the stars that brought us together. I'm not letting anything rip us apart again" I think this statement is so fitting for all the books in this series and especially this book the 6th and final book. Ella Miles is such a talented storyteller that she brings alive the settings to be so vivid that you feel like you are right there, like the dampness of the sea against your skin and the smell of the salt air when they are on their yacht. She also brings alive the characters and the plot and makes you feel the heart wrenching moments and at the next turn of the page the joy and love they feel for each other. This story is sobering, heartbreaking, captivating, and absolutely fascinating. I am sorry to see this series end but can't wait to see what this author comes up with next.

Ella Miles has done it again with this 5-star book. This one picks up where part 5 left off.
This book will have you from the first page to the last with all the betrayals, twist and turns, secrets and the chemistry between Kai and Enzo. Enzo and Kai each think the other is dead because of the game and the people who want them dead. Kai is saved by Beckett and she goes to her uncle in Alaska. Enzo finds out from Felix ( he is one of the ones who want them dead) that she is alive, do Enzo goes after her.
Can Kai and Enzo get out of the game with their lives, or will one of them die?
If you have not read the first 5 books then you will need to read them before reading this one to get the whole story to understand this one. This book shows that one will do just about anything for the ones we love.
I would recommend this book to anyone.

More than Amazing, this book is epic!

This is the sixth book in the Truth or Lies series, and conclusion to Enzo, and Kai's epic love story. I was dying waiting for this book to come out, willing Enzo, and Kai to finally get their happy ending, but when I finally got this book, I was almost scarred to open it and start reading, I didn't know if my heart, or mind could take anymore of the roller coaster this series has been. I knew it would be amazing, but I wasn't prepared for how amazing, and boy does this story take you on one twisted ride. Enzo, and Kai, are magical as a couple, they have chemistry that you can feel right through the pages, and down to your core, every emotion they felt, i felt too. Their story was raw, emotional, intense, gripping, suspenseful, mysterious, dramatic, passionate, and steamy. I highly recommend this book, and series!!! 5 Stars

In the final book of Enzo’s and Kai’s story, only one can survive the last game! Surprises galore await the reader in this final chapter! More relatives appear, those who are not forgotten have their parts to tell in this book as well~ The one and only constant is the love Kai and Enzo share with one another and they will do everything to protect their cargo…even die~ This time only truths will reveal the true Black and save him or her. But, if Enzo or Kai wins…these games will be put to an end once and for all! Changes will mark the landscape for the Black enterprise! What are the surprises in the final book? Who will win the Black name? Just when you think you finally guess the ending…you are wrong! Ella Miles gives this series a phenomenal ending and does not disappoint. Love wins!
Consumed by Truths (Truth or Lies Book 6 by Ella Miles is an exceptionally well written dark romance. This one made me feel all kinds of things. Heavy yet urgent, bleak yet filled with hope, doubt yet determined and lost, despair yet happiness, alone yet full of love. I absolutely loved it and each book that came before it!
There’s so much I could write about this final book of Enzo and Kai’s story, but I refuse to spoil it for anyone. A few words about this final book that come to mind are; a roller coaster ride of revolution, resurrection, revelation, resolution and reunification.
Overall, a truly captivating and enthralling series end with justice and a very well deserved happy ending for Kai and Enzo - a couple who couldn’t deserve it more.

This is book six in the amazing Truth or Lies series. This is the last book and this series has to be read in order to get each step of delicious that this series holds. Enzo and Kai will take you on one heck of a ride. This book included, I gotta say, Ella next time you need a warning on this magic. A.warning that states: Do not read in public of any kind. This book will RIP you apart and then slowing piece you back together as Enzo and Kai find their place in this world. It's just a matter of finding out, if they move forward together with a HEA? Or do they finally separate for good and move forward as two broken souls? If you pass this series by, you are truly missing out on an amazing story. Enjoy!

Who will be "Mr Black"
by sewsummore

In this final book in the series, Kai and Enzo face their final challenge to determine who will become "Mister Black". The were many difficulties to overcome before the final challenge and these all helped to build the climatic end to the story of these ill fated lovers. When the winner is announced the shocks continue to unfold, keep reading there is more to come. I have enjoyed this series from the beginning, and the author informs us that there is to be a spin off series in the works where you will meet some of the favorite characters once again. This was a fitting end to a remarkable story that you must read to find out what happens, you wont be disappointed I assure you.
