Eight years ago, I fell for Ryder Thompson. He knew me in a way no one else did. He held my heart in his hands. Until he brought it crashing to the floor. I picked up the pieces, vowing to never let him back in. And I never thought I would see him again. Then one day, he reappeared in my life. I promised myself I would ignore him. I lied. ------------------------------------------- Tacoma Calloway made me a better man. To this day I swear upon it, no matter how broken I am. We weren't meant to be together when we first met. We were two lost souls finding solace in the other. But eight years later, I still want her. I forbid myself from loving her then. And I am unable to love her now. If only my heart would listen. It won’t.

This is the first book that I've read by this author and I wasn't sure what to expect. The author gave us a very well written story. Even though I hadn't read any of the previous books in the series, I didn't feel lost. I thought that the story line was great and the book had a fairly smooth flow to it. The character work was terrific. I look forward to more by this author.

This book...just wow. Tori Fox is a new author to me and I am not disappoint at all! The only reason I gave it a four star instead of a 5 is that I'm not a huge fan of cheating romances. However if that's what you like this is perfect for you.
I found the characters likeable and I found myself needing to keep reading to find out what happened. I can not wait to read more from this author.
This is a great standalone book that is the third book in the series. Tacona and Ryder are interesting characters that have dynamic backstories. There is fantastic emotion entwined throughout this story.

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Tori Fox!
Forgotten Pieces is the third book in the White Creek series and tells the story of Tacoma and Ryder. Although this is the third book in the series, it can be read as a standalone.
Forgotten Pieces was another great book by Tori Fox. I really like reading about the characters in White Creek and everyone deserves their story! I really loved Tacoma and Ryder’s story because it was an emotional one. Tori Fox always puts this extra emotional thing in her books and I love her for that!
Tacoma is your typical party girl but there’s a reason she is like that. She’s been through a lot and seeing Ryder again after a few years doesn’t help. Ryder is a marine and just like Tacoma, he’s been through a lot. After a few years, they find each other again and can’t help their feelings for each other. I love that they got together but I had some problems with how they got together. I’m not going to spoil it for you, but I normally don’t really like these type of relationships.
Forgotten Pieces was an amazing book and I hope we’ll get some more books in the White Creek series. All of the books by Tori Fox I’ve read so far were all amazing so I know that I’m going to love Tori Fox’ next book. Let’s hope it will be out very soon!
I felt that the author had the ability to convey some depth to the personalities of the characters bringing life and likability to every person. The writing draws you in and keeps you interested until the end.
I was very impressed with how simply and effortlessly this author told this addicting, multi-layered story with well-developed world building and great characters.
