OH MY !! This was so beautiful...I actually teared up towards the end!
Lance and Amber were such a perfect couple. Both were carrying so many insecurities.
Amber's came in the form of a self-centered younger sister who has never been able to bear seeing Amber get more attention from their parents even though they are now both mature adults and should be beyond such petty jealousies. Consequently Amber just can't seem to settle on anything whether it is a job or a boyfriend. She never seems to find a place or a person that will keep her grounded and get her the approval and feeling of belonging she so desperately wants.
Lance had been married for just a few months fifteen years earlier and had been badly hurt when his wife left him saying their marriage had been a big mistake. Since then he closed himself off from forming any type of serious relationship and it is only when he meets Amber that he starts to feel that maybe not all women will see him as being inadequate and lacking.
There are some major issues that need to be resolved before this wonderful couple can get their HEA but Ms. Isaacson always has such a great way of getting her characters to see that with the help of God their path will be revealed.
I always seem to say this but I do think this is my favorite of the series so far. Each book just keeps getting better and better. It was also so good to see how the Last Chance Ranch family is growing and flourishing.

Another cowboy at the Last Chance Ranch falls in love with a lovely, mature, curvy, intelligent woman who works at the ranch. The ranch is home to a variety of animals, from dogs of all sizes to horses, llamas, pigs, cats, goats, and dairy cows that have been rescued from unhealthy situations. It also has proven to be a romantic haven for lonely humans who have become a family by choice. The stories in the series could easily become repetitious and trite, but Liz Isaacson manages to create complex characters with believable backstories. Every one of the books in this series is excellent, although I have a bit of personal trouble with goat yoga and cow cuddling, even if they are actual activities available to people who are interested in a novel experience.
Lance was attracted to Amber two years ago when she first became the volunteer coordinator at the rescue ranch but she always seemed to have a boyfriend. She was a serial dater - 9 relationships in 3 years but she may be ready to settle down. The road to love and commitment is not smooth nor immediate, however with support and guidance from their friends and family and their faith in God, a happy ending is the result.

Lance has had feelings for Amber for almost as long as he’s known her, but his timing hasn’t ever worked out to connect with her when she was single. Until now. All her life, Amber’s been looking for something, anything, to make her family proud of her. There’s a lot of baggage here and it’s affecting everything else in her life. My heart absolutely broke for Lance in this book. He’s such a sweetheart and he jumped through every hoop Amber sets in front of him. It took a little more for me to really connect with Amber because I couldn’t always understand why she made the decisions she did. One of the things I love about this series is that we always get the chance to check back in and see what’s been happening with the other couples on the ranch.

Feel good, problem ridden, love story
Lance and Amber have things to figure out. I love that Lance is so loving, patient, and forgiving. But he’s not willing to just let things go and let his heart break even more. Amber is conflicted for many reasons. It takes some time and experiences to grow and learn and become more confident in who she is. The contrast between their two families is interesting and adds an additional dimension to the story. Lance is confident and accepts Amber for who she is, helping her become better without trying to change her. His heartbroken feelings are well portrayed. I felt for them and wanted to cry with them.
A happily ever after is the best kind of ending. And I would love to see all the dogs on the side of the road!

Last Chance Ranch is a favorite of mine. Every story has something uplifting. You just can't go wrong with one of these.
In this story we find Amber, a beautiful woman who has no problem getting dates. It's having them continue is where her trouble lies. She was taught to date a lot to weed out the bad ones. For her, they all are bad. She has decided to stop dating cowboys and see where it takes her.
For Lance, this is not an option. He has secretly been waiting for the right moment to approach Amber and ask her out. Now that she has sworn off cowboys what can he do?
Dive inside as he gets the best idea from his mom and worries Amber will leave at her first opportunity~

Great book, I loved this series. In fact, I love all of Liz's books.

Great Animal Rescue Romance
Okay, contemporary romance isn't my genre but I like clean, sweet romances and if you throw in animals, what's not to like? Two works are at a ranch and one is certain about the love for the other, the other seems to be afraid of settling down. I can recommend this story for anyone. No mention of tingles and physical reactions but empty hearts, longing and confusion have to be dealt with and understanding what is best for both. The language is quite contemporary (so different from middle age novels!) but the story is G rated and moves along nicely. I highly recommend this story for teens and young adults (and older) as a fine example of hope and what patience and understanding can grow to. An easy 4+ stars - happy reading!

Lance has worked at the Last Chance Ranch for two years and has loved Amber from the beginning, but she seems to go from one guy after another. Finally, he gets up the courage to ask her on a date. Their relationship has its ups and downs, Amber isn’t sure that she will make it in a relationship because of her history going from one guys to another. She is promoted to Denver which she takes. Lance is devastated. But she comes back for her sister’s wedding and visits the ranch. She realizes that she does love Lance.

Another happily ever after at Last Chance Ranch. This one is pretty heavy on the Christian themes. I found it interesting that Amber felt guided in making her choices yet in the end it didn't give her what she really wanted. That didn't make that choice wrong. It just made her who she became and ready for the rest of her life. And I think that is often the case in real life.
This is a quick-read, sweet romance. I liked both Amber and Lance and wanted them to be together. I also love all the supporting characters around them at Last Chance Ranch. They are good people.

I really enjoy the Last Chance Ranch Romance series! Animals get a last or second chance, people (who are “more mature”) get that chance and I especially like that these books also spotlight baby adoption! In Her Last Cowboy Christmas Amber has always seemed to have a hard committing to anything for longer than a few years. Lance has watched her date and drop cowboy’s for 2 years before he finally asks her out. Is this the time that she can finally commit to a long-term relationship? Don’t miss this clean, inspirational, short-read from Liz Isaacson!

So, Lance had been in love with Amber for 2 years – unknown to her. And she had been keeping her eye on him for just as long. They both worked at the ranch, but she worked for Forever Friends – a pet adoption center that was located on the ranch. She had done so well with that, that her boss, Jewel wanted her to move to Denver to run the facility there.

June 7, 2019I think Liz Isaacson is trying to see how much my heart can ache. I have so much empathy for Lance. Amber is the only woman to have his heart after his ex-wife trampled it 15 years ago. Amber has a restless spirit partly because she is seeking someone to give her the love and support she really doesn’t get from her family. This book is definitely a worthy addition to this wonderful series. I will miss all the friends we’ve made at Last Chance Ranch. I highly recommend this story.

God fearing and loving Lance and Amber have their share of insecurities. Overcoming their histories, reticence and (in his case) shyness and (in her case) family is key to their happiness. And happiness is what is at the core of this story and series. Beautifully written.

Wonderful
I am hoping this is not the the last novel in this series.. This
was Amber and Lance's second chance. They are just as well written and easily to relate to as all.the other main characters. The storyline was engaging and just as important to.the series as all the characters and their previous stories.
I felt as if this novel ended with a dew lingering pieces as well.as a dew characters that have not their second chance.

This book was a great read. I loved how Liz kept your attention with the main characters of Lance & Amber. She used a lot of suspense when Amber actually left Lance in the lurch at the ranch to take a job in Colorado that she thought she wanted that ended up being a huge mistake. It was great seeing her come back home and see how much she missed her friends and Lance. I really enjoyed this book.

Lance is more than ready for his chance to date Amber. Amber dates often but cannot settle on what type of man she wants to be with. I did not think her dating habits were terrible, she is searching for someone. Amber's family is horrible, and she gives them too much leeway. Lance is steady and sweet. Another great book
Every time I pick up a book by this author, I know I'm in for a treat. This is another good example. Two interesting people I can identify with, come together and find their way to love with laughter, maybe a tear but without a doubt, a story you can't wait to read!

Last Chance Christmas
This was another great book in this series of Last Chance Ranch Books by Liz Isaacson. Her books are great in every way possible, whether it be a love story or a western. Love grows with Gods help and that is what happened here. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill

Last Chance Christmas
This is the story of a ranch that is a safe haven for people and animals. It functions as one big family. There is a lot of action,raw emotions,uncertainties,jealousy and love. This is a great book and is a clean book with faith in God included. I am never disappointed when I read a book by Liz Isaacson. I recommend it to everyone and give it 5 stars.

Can Lance stop waiting in the wings
Lance always waits on the sidelines for Amber but never pursues her. Can he ever be determined to be with her and go after his dreams? I'm so glad I read it! I love this ranch family and enjoyed watching them progress in their lives. Thanks Liz, for another awesome story!

Great finish to a great series. Would have loved an epilogue of 1 year later and 5 years later. To see where all the characters are and what they did in that time. After six books and six HEA cowboys and wives you become quite familiar with the characters and it’s always so sad to say goodbye without a final closing chapter or two. Ohh or a novella. Just saying.

I never thought they would find a solution
I'm so glad they did. Ms. Isaacson created complicated and lovable characters. I have missed several of the previous books in the series so many characters were unfamiliar to me. It didn't keep me from following the story though. I love the work they do at the ranch. I’d love to volunteer.

Loved it/great series
Another great book by one of my favorite authors. I'm really enjoying this series and loved Amber and Lance's story. I enjoyed the catch up on the past characters. I look forward to the next book in the series.

This is a well written christian romance. It is a sweet love story that is full of twists and turns. I really enjoyed reading this book. I received an ARC copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

I loved the family atmosphere in this book about unrelated people who have become a family. I love the way they look out for each other. I can understand why Amber had a hard come committing to anything long term. But I am so glad this book was GOD focused & He made it all come out right.
