Although was probably good when written, dated now. Weeded from library collection but thought I'd check to see whether the predictions made by the author panned out. Very few did.
Book prognosticating the future are always interesting, especially when they attempt to tell us what life will be like in a couple of decades. Cetron and Davies have written a fairly reasonable analysis of what we will face at the beginning of the 21st century - some hits, some misses, and a lot of in-betweens.
The best scores go to their works on terrorism, ethics, religion, while the rest of the book has generally worthwhile material. That there are no "Jetson" predictions is notable, and, in general, the book is upbeat, but. at the same time, conservative.
