The Naked Remedy

Rate this book
From the moment he finds The Naked Remedy, Noah Booker is enthralled. Not only because the blog owner is gorgeous or that the nude photos are hot, but because Fisher uses his platform to face his fears about a crippling accident, as well as the aftermath of putting his life back together.

Noah isn’t brave. He copes with his shyness by staying in his comfort zone. At twenty-six, he still hasn't come out or left his conservative hometown. Finding the blog offers a beacon, but when he summons the nerve to comment, he never expects Fisher to respond.

The two men strike a friendship. Sparks fly, but dating isn't easy. Noah lives in California, and Fisher's in Florida. But making it work takes more than coordinating schedules. It means taking risks. For Fisher, though, Noah will try. Because if he's learned anything, it's that change only happens one step at a time.

A sweet read about change, connection, and courage. So much courage!

Noah and Fisher are adorable and inspiring. Their story just might give you the inspirational push you need to make a change or step out of your comfort zone. It inspired me. You never know what can happen or who you could meet when you reach out.

A quick, adorable read filled with huge heart and a little nudity. Is it too early to beg for a holiday story with these two? I wanted a bit more at the end, so a quick holiday visit is on my wish list. :)

This was my first Vivien Dean read, but it won’t be my last. I’m already looking for more!

Awww, this was really SWEET. I loved that the relationship between Noah and Fisher started online. I loved their conversation. I loved Dez, Noah's friend. But what actually moved me to being teary eyed was when Noah finally told his parents about his sexuality. Yep, my eyes turned glassy.

On a different note, so happy to read a new story from Vivien Dean (the last story of hers I read was released LAST YEAR!)

Oh my goodness, but this is one of the sweetest stories I’ve ever read. Let me start with their online relationship. I’m not sure if I mentioned this before, but my spouse and I met and “courted” online, so I really enjoy being able to find something like The Naked Remedy. It’s so perfectly written. It brought back some memories about how exciting it was to get an email or chat in our own private chat room (this was 20 years ago…no Skype). My stomach fluttered just as much as Noah and Fisher’s.

This was so sweet. Just a simple, straightforward romance but really heart-warming and exactly what I needed. The heat factor was practically nonexistent, and I definitely wanted to read more, more, more, but it felt very true to the MCs. I’m glad I grabbed this one.

I was drawn to the title and equally to that the plot. Now, I will put this out there and suffer the consequences. I am not one for HFN stories, so this one hit me square in the face, but with good intentions. I understand the authors reasoning, somewhat for ending the story the way she did. Noah and Fisher had an unconventional start and it reasons that their ending would encompass one. I just need more of these guys, if only an epilogue to see where they've made it so far.

Two men, not looking for anything but words on a blog, find each other and start a relationship that was founded on friendship. I like that there was no demands and each understood the reasoning of the other. I loved the role Dez played in this book and glad that Noah got a friend out of the deal.

The review below is the one I posted for this story when it was released in Love Is All anthology.

Pure comfort read. I finished it in one sitting and wanted more. Ms Dean, these guys need a follow-up story.
