John Philip O'Neill (1931 -2010), was Chief Editor at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

O'Neill oversaw the publication of more than one thousand exhibition and collection catalogues as well as the quarterly Bulletin, annual Journal, and all the gallery labels accompanying works of art in the museum.

A few photos of actual pieces. Some unusual highly decorated ballgown fashion plates. Nice in the Regency, silly in Victorian.
