My children LOVED this book! We've only had it a few days and have read it no less than a dozen times! The illustrations are adorable and my kids loved that it was interactive, and had a lot of fun with doing all of the actions! One of the best books we've read in a long time! My 'monsters' were smiling for sure!

I received a copy of this book at Book Expo 2019. This is a super sweet book for ages 2-5. When your little one needs to laugh, this is a cute and interactive book. My little one spun in a circle, honked his nose, buzzed like a bee and more. The illustrations were fabulous and the lettering was fun. A playful book for anyone who wants to put a big smile on their face.

The fact my 3 year old loves this book when she’s got the grumpies...... five stars!!! Toddlers are hard to keep interested and this fun book definitely keeps mine interested.

2.5*

I enjoyed the bright colorful illustrations in this one and the title, but I felt the text was uneven; sometimes it was written in rhyme, then would leave that behind. This made the flow for reading aloud to kids more difficult.

I can see that some kids would like acting out the directions. But there are so many other cute, colorful picture books out there...

Super adorable and interactive. Children would enjoy the illustrations and all the fun things the little monster says to do to make his monster friend smile. I loved the vivid colors and the illustrations. I followed all the rules to make sure I make the monster smile 😀. Everyone will enjoy!
