Enjoy this clean, small town romance by award winning and bestselling author, Lucinda Race. He’s just a borrowed boyfriend. He might also be her true love.

Gym owner Kenzie MacLellan has always been the most independent of her sisters. Spunky and self-reliant, she vowed to stay single, just like them. But when her newly married sister passes their grandmother’s enchanted wedding dress to Kenzie, she can’t resist trying it on. What she sees when she looks in the mirror shakes her to her core. Robbie Burns? Childhood buddy, best friend, occasional borrowed boyfriend? That’s the future the dress predicts for her?

Robbie Burns has tried for years to pry Kenzie from his heart. She’d never see him as more than her manager at the gym, her camping pal, the guy she borrowed when she needed a date for dinner or the movies. That hasn’t stopped him from being in love with her. But on their annual hiking trip in the White Mountains, Kenzie tumbles. Just not in the way either of them planned.

For the first time in her life, an injured Kenzie is forced to lean on someone else for a change. Robbie’s tender care for her, and her growing attraction to him, is setting off all her alarm bells. Robbie would never a change a thing about her, but is Kenzie willing to risk it? Has a borrowed wedding dress really revealed Kenzie’s borrowed boyfriend might be the love of her life?Borrowed is the second novel in the MacLellan Sisters Trilogy, although each book can be read as standalone. A sweet and clean romantic story with a guaranteed happily ever after. Happy reading!

Another fantastic addition to this trilogy. In this story we get middle sister Kenzie's story. She's probably the most independent of the sisters. She's stubborn and headstrong and that causes a lot of problems relationship wise for her. Our hero Robbie is the perfect book boyfriend. He's the best friend but had always wanted more. The story rolls along very smoothly with angst and romance and more angst. But it was a beautiful story of friends to lovers.

This is Book 2 in the MacLellan Sister’s trilogy and is Kenzie’s story. With her older sister now married Kenzie has the magical wedding dress that she has promised to try one. Once she does she is shocked to find her lifetime best friend Robbie waiting for her.

Robbie and Kenzie go through a lot of hoops to get to their HEA with Kenzie resisting it and pretty much pushing Robbie away. She finally gives in to her feelings but it is almost too late, luckily for them they do get their HEA. Still didn’t love the 3rd person POV in this book.

Middle sister, Kenzie, gives childhood friend, Robbie, the romantic fight of his life. But then again, all those MacLellan women make their men work for their happily-ever-after! And Lucinda writes a hero that makes you root for him. The juxtaposition of an enchanted Scottish wedding dress with a modern-day love story adds to the charm of this wonderful tale. Up next? Grace!

Sometimes what we have been searching for has been right in front of us the whole time. Which is what Kenzie learns when she tried on the dress and sees none other than her friend Robbie. It takes a lot for her to admit her feelings and she almost loses him in the process. Again this was a great read! The characters are still just as wonderful and I loved that Kenzie and Robbie had been friends first. They both deserved the love they found even if it took a lot to get there. I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. This review was originally posted on Wickedly Romance

This is a great book. So much love between the sisters, their friends and family. Grace has gone to visit at the family farm by herself, usually the sisters go together. They went to visit their grandparents during the summer when they were little girls. what is on the horizon for Grace. Will find out in the third book Blue.

This was a nice story about how Kenzie found the person she loved right under her nose... She almost lost him by not admitting her feelings towards him. Though it was a big long at parts, in general, it was a nice story.

I got this book as an ARC, free as part of New England Readers' Choice Awards.

This is book two in The MacLellan Sisters series and it is Kenzie and Robbie's story and it is definitely a must read. Kenzie owns a gym and she is independent and vows to stay single but when her sister Jamie gets married and passes the wedding dress to her she can't resist trying it on to see what it looks like only to get the shock of her life when she sees Robbie in the mirror and she thinks that this can't be right as he is not only her best friend that she has known since childhood and who has even stood in as a fake boyfriend when she needs him too but what will Kenzie do about this new discovery as he and his friendship means the world to her and she can't lose him. Robbie has been in love with Kenzie for years but he knows that she only sees him as a best friend and the manager of her gym so he keeps his feelings to himself because her friendship means everything to him but when they go hiking and Kenzie takes a bad fall and needs help everything starts to change for them but will it be good or bad only time will tell what the outcome will be for them. Omg I absolutely love this book and I couldn't put it down as it was so addictive and a real page turner and I can't wait to read the final book in this series. I definitely recommend you read this amazing series and you will definitely not be disappointed.

Poor Robbie with unrequited love for his best friend Kenzie. He was afraid to tell her and ruin their friendship until they are impulsive and go from just friends to sleeping together during a camping trip. I was surprised she didn’t blame him for her distraction and accident soon afterwards. But that’s the start of what puts a wedge between them. She wants to pretend their romance never happened, but is jealous and jumps to conclusions when a client kisses his cheek. She acts like he’s cheating on her when it was relatively innocent and he didn’t reciprocate. Kenzie takes him for granted so many times. When he wants to move on and leave her gym she keeps expecting he’ll change his mind. She was quite abrasive and stubborn at times. I wanted to shake them both for not speaking up about their feelings.

This is the second book in The MacLellan Sisters Trilogy and I have to say it was fantastic. I did not read the first book so I had to fill in the blanks as I went along but it was so good I could not wait to finish it so I could get the first one to read.
The story was fabulous and getting to know Kenzie and Robbie and feeling the chemistry between them was heart warming. I like all the characters in the book and I am so thrilled to have been given the chance to meet them all.

Oh my how Kenzie frustrated me at times with how blind she was to how Robbie feels about her, but he is also to blame for never taking the next step and letting her know how he feels. After the accident it is his perfect chance but as I and their friends and family see them ending up moving further apart and you worry the magic of the dress is not enough to go against Kenzie's stubbornness. I can not wait to see what's in store for Grace!.

He's been in love with her forever... She's never getting married. Until Kenzie tries on "the dress". Jamie and Caleb's wedding... Kenzie (finally!) realizing that she and Robbie are perfect for each other... Getting to know that MacLellan family better... This is small-town romance at its finest, from a favorite author. I can't wait for Grace's turn with Gran's dress! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This second book in the MacLellan Sister's Trilogy was such fun to write using the boy next door/ best friend trope with each sister being so different from the others.
When Kenzie reluctantly tries on the enchanted family wedding dress she is stunned when she looks in the mirror. It can't be true.
This hard headed beauty goes on her annual camping adventure with Robbie. In the weeks of recovery after a devastating injury she learns more about herself than she thought possible.

Would not be a Scottish romance without wanting to yell at them to stop being so stubborn! Think this one might be better than the first. Cannot wait to read the third one!
