After I've read this book, I found that this was not to me. This was just about a ten-year old girl, Haley. She wants to be friends with her neighbor, Mr. Wood, and his ugly dog with an ugly name, Booford. He never takes the dog for a walk, nor gave him food. Haley wants to do that, since she loved that dog. Unexpectedly, she became friends booford, and Mr. Wood.
