Mary Brizzi went to Dragonhold in Ireland to interview Anne McCaffrey for this book. Mary found Anne to be very cordial. She was wearing what she said were her son's jeans. Usually Anne dresses very elegantly when she makes public appearances or speaks at conventions, which she did often.
Mary's book critiques many of Anne's books she wrote before the mid 1980's. Mary tells how closely Anne's Dragon books, DRAGONFLIGHT, DRAGONQUEST, and the WHITE DRAGON follow Keat's poetry and Greek mythology.
There is a chapter for the KILLASHANDRA books and four other chapters.
Anne McCaffrey was a very prolific writer and her worlds have sparked imaginations and fan clubs.
Mary Brizzi did a good job bringing Anne McCaffrey and her writing back to life.
