this short book is a hidden gem. Also title is a bit misleading it’s not whatsoever about longing for romantic love- but about how we’re never satisfied with anything apart from God’s love. This book was easy and so refreshing

I discovered this book recently via a friend. It is SO good and so helpful. I'm a pastor and it's really helping me with my performance oriented way of striving and is teaching me to rest in God's love. The book is so authentic and relatable to real life. I have been recommended it highly to anyone who is struggling to know that they are truly loved by God. I wish it was still in print, it deserves to be.

I appreciate the subject but she does too much whining. It is very repetitive. I don't agree with her theological assumptions.

The deepest longing of every person's heart is to know that we are deeply, unconditionally loved. Too often we lose our sense of that--and as a result, we don't live loved. Senter leads the reader back to the Living Water and Bread of Life, to the only One who loves us completely--in spite of us!
