Best records price guide ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best album is Thriller by Michael Joseph Jackson, born August 29th, 1958, in Gary, Indiana, and died of overdose of painkillers June 25th, 2009, in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 50 years, 9 months, and 27 days old. No bad albums here!!

This guy is witty, clever, and knowledgeable, so his comments are highly entertaining. His ratings were useful, though this book is now ten years old, so they're obviously dated. On the downside, there's a noticeable bias against New Wave/Punk and especially Prog Rock. Regardless, I still wish this guy were writing for Goldmine, as his ratings were more reliable than later GM writers, and GM's discography-style format of listing the record ratings is vastly superior to the much more vague, generalized listings used by the price guides published by the "Official" series.
