It was perfect for my 7-year-old daughter who has been wanting to make her own YouTube videos. Its simplicity and visual aids were very helpful. This is NOT the book to get if you're looking to start a major YouTube channel, but is a great tool for beginners.

7,5/10.

It's a clear and simple approach to videomaking, excellent for beginners and has a language that makes it easily readable for a very large audience group (in terms of age and previous experience).

This book is mainly a simplified version of Willoughby's book, "Digital Filmmaking for Kids". The instructions on storyboards, production teams, and trailers are missing, but he does go over lighting, sound and location. Also included are detailed instructions on how to use IMOVIE to make a video. This is a quick and easy way to learn how to make a better looking, more professional video for youtube or to share with friends.
