Like many of us, Faustus has attempted to run away from his family... only to find that he, like us all, is bound to them no matter how far away he goes.
When his father dies Faustus returns home, in an attempt to make peace with that part of himself that is his primal first self.
What he finds is a web of family secrets he never knew about, even when he lived there as a young man.
Will the secrets destroy everything that is his past, his history?

There are unexpected (and very clever) plot twists in Mosquitoes and Men, but I was blown away by the writing. Polo harkens back to some of my favorite writers, who let the lyricism of the South flow through their pens. I truly did not want the writing to end.
