I'm not much of an action or adventure reader but that didn't bother me here since half of the book is the examination of the small town or village Ennal's Point. I should have liked the character studies but, like it sometimes the case with such small neighborhoods, everyone feels entitled to judge everyone else's buisiness and be kind of nasty about it and our narrator Mr. Hannah was no exception to it. It wasn't done in a funny, endearing or even interesting way, so I only liked two character
