Dollycass Thoughts

Juliette Jules Bridge and her very special rabbit, Bun, are back and are hopping right into another murder case.

Jules brings her bunnies to a childs birthday party but before the cake is even served one of the adult guests is found dead in the bushes. Evelyn Montgomery was well known in the rabbit world and Jules had met her when she inquired about having one of her rabbits, Petra, participating in an upcoming contest. With Evelyn out of the picture, Jules has been asked to

Jules has a rabbit rescue and carries around a rabbit that talk to her by telepathy. At a rabbit show the organizer is killed and Jules and her rabbit look for the killer. this book just seemed silly and not worth the time to read it.

Who's Dead, Doc is the second book in this fun series by J.M Griffin.
When I read the first book, I was unsure how I felt about the story line. The idea of a telepathic bunny seems impossible, however, after reading this book, I actually found myself glued to the pages, laughing and enjoying the story.
Jules runs Fur Bridge Farm in rural New Hampshire, a rescue for rabbits that need good homes.
As part of her rabbit rehabilitation, some of Jules rabbits make appearances at birthday parties. It's

I love this series! I love that Jules can communicate with Bun the rabbit and he helps her out with the mysteries she is trying to solve. Using a bunny to help solve crimes is unique in the world of cozies and with this series it really works.

Jules is a great character and her judging a rabbit contest in this story made it so much fun! I'm hoping that in the stories to come she will share her and Bun's secret with Jessica.

Part of the fun of Whos Dead, Doc? by J. M. Griffin is watching how effectively our heroine Juliette Jules Bridge manages her complex and demanding schedule. She juggles birthday parties (her rabbits perform tricks for delighted children), a multi-day rabbit competition, her budding store/school for crafters who spin and weave goods from rabbit fur, and daily duties at Fur Bridge Farm meeting the needs of her group of rescue rabbits.

Cozy mystery detectives are never loners. They tend to live in

A very unique and original sleuthing team! Jules and her partner in crime solving, Bun, are back and this time the competition is playing for keeps! A local event, showcasing rabbits in agility, speed, and beauty, has Jules and Bun trying to find a murderer before they're the next victims!

I had heard about this cozy mystery series, with a sleuthing team of the owner of the Fur Bridge Ranch, where abused and abandoned rabbits are cared for and adopted and her rabbit who telepathically "talks" to

Bun, the cutie patootie bunny is back! He cannot stop hopping around when he learns that Jules' help is required in solving the case.

Jules and Bun form quite an amateur sleuthing pair. Bun's words of wisdom make this story an enjoyable read.
The mystery and suspense kept me hooked on to the story until the end. Bunny rabbits add oodles of cozy charm to the story. I recommend this book to those who love cozy mysteries.

This second Jules & Bun Mystery was as cute as the first one. Main character, Jules, lives on a farm where she rescues and rehabilitates bunnies. One of the bunnies, Bun, communicates telepathically with Jules. In this book, they are guests at a birthday part where another guests turns up dead. It is up to Jules and Bun to solve the mystery after the hostess of the party begs Jules for help.

This was a fun and entertaining cozy mystery. I enjoyed the characters and the storyline. I'm looking

This is an enjoyable book. I loved the rabbits especially Bun. This book has many twists in it, it goes from a child's birthday party to a rabbit show to a rabbit farm and all around. The ending was great, I had no idea who the killer was until it was revealed. #WhosDeadDoc #NetGalley

I really like the characters, the setting and the idea of a telepathic bunny. In this one the main character starts by working closely with the sheriff, but then he asks her to stop. However, the MC doesn't. and ends up in some sticky situations.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for my eARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is such a delightful series ! I loved Jules and Bun. This is the second in series of what I predict will be a successful long running cozy series. I have read the first in series and adore this series. Thank you to the publisher and to Net Galley for the opportunity.

Jules is a favorite character of mine as she runs a rabbit rescue and rehabilitation farm, Fur Bridge Farm. She is devoted to the care of the rabbits and a advocate for their care and safety. She holds classes on rabbit car and

This is the second book in Jules and Bun Mystery Series. Like this one, the first one was cute.

Juliette Jules Bridge rescues ad provides lifelong shelter for rabbits. She has one, Bun, who is her best friend and plays Watson to her Sherlock. While the bond between the two is undeniable, its their ability to communicate telepathically with each other. A stretch I know, but it works. I wish I had telepathic abilities with my pet rabbit; it would be useful.

Who's Dead, Doc is the second in the Jules & Bun Mystery series set in small town New Hampshire and featuring Jules Bridge, owner of Fur Bridge Farm, a rabbit rescue. Jules and her rabbits have been hired to appear along with friend and puppeteer, Bailey at a children's birthday party and she's brought along her sidekick Bun, the telepathic rabbit. As the party is breaking up, Jules discovers the body of Evelyn Montgomery lying dead in the bushes.

I enjoyed the previous book and am glad to say that this one isn't suffering from sophomore slump. It's as much fun as Left Fur Dead. Having always wanted a rabbit as a child and being told no, I have a soft spot for them. Jules rescues bunnies that have been abused or abandoned, some staying with her and others getting placed in furrever homes. One of the activities for them is doing tricks at events like kids birthday parties and that is how this case starts for the fun pair of sleuths, Jules ...more

Amateur sleuths Jules and Bun, her telepathic rabbit, return in Whos Dead, Doc?

Running a rabbit rescue farm and a store offering yarn and classes seems like a lot of work on their own. But when Jules is asked to look into the murder of nasty Evelyn by the hostess of the birthday party where it occurred, she jumps in with both feet. Evelyn argued with both the hostess and Jules just a few minutes before being stabbed and shoved in the bushes. Good thing Jules has a telepathic rabbit sidekick to

Princess Fuzzypants here: As a Maine Coon, I am partial to stories with kitties but I also love bunny tales. In this series Jules and her rabbit Bun communicate through telepathy and together they make a pawsome team. Jules runs a rabbit rescue farm and saved Bun from her former owner who thought he was the devils spawn just because he could speak to her. Pfft! What an evil and silly woman.
This time Jules and Bun enter into the world of Rabbit Shows. Oh boy. The backstabbing and intrigue would

This is the 2nd installment in the Jules and Bun Mystery series. Juliet (Jules) Bridges runs a farm that rescues and rehabilitates rabbits. One of her pet rabbits Bun can also telepathically talk to her and helped her solve a murder previously. This time she takes Bun with her as part of a petting farm for a birthday party. At the end of the party Jules finds one of the guests (Evelyn Montgomery) dead in the bushes with a knife in her chest. Jules did not really know the woman but did know she ...more

This was a fun read and I learned a lot about rabbits. I haven't read the first book yet but will now. I love that Bun is not a telepathic cat or dog, and you can tell his relationship with Jules is still evolving but very close. The story was well paced with lots of twists and kept my interest all the way through. The characters were interesting as was the Fur Bridge Farm's setup. Jules is tenacious and, once given the green light to investigate, can't just let it go when told to stop. She gets ...more

Jules and Bun of Fur Bridge Farm bunny rescue are part of a birthday party celebration when a woman is discovered dead. The host of the party asks Jules to help figure out the killer to keep the police from blaming her. Evelyn Montgomery was a mean, hateful woman that enjoyed profiting off of other people. Jules has a hard time finding anyone that has anything good to say about the woman. Jules is asked to replace Evelyn as a judge at a rabbit show, Sheriff Carver wants her to keep her eyes and ...more

Bun and Jules are back and this time the untimely death of everyone's NOT favorite person, Evelyn; takes place right next to a birthday party gig. No one saw anything, except that Jules noticed Evelyn and party hostess Carina having a very heated conversation before the start of the party. The only redeeming trait that Evelyn possessed was her love of rabbits and her excellent organization of the rabbit show taking place at the Windermere Exhibition Hall. As luck would have it, Jules is asked to ...more

A telepathic rabbit? Yep= Bun the bunny can communicate with Jules and thus help her to solve crimes! As implausible as that sounds, this is a cozy and therefore, it works. In this second installment in the series (and it will be fine as a standalone), Jules takes Bun to a petting zoo at a birthday party where Evelyn is found dead. Well, you know that Evelyn had a number of people who did not like her (with good reason) but she was also a big deal in the rabbit world. Jules' love interest, ...more
Excellent cozy with lots learned about the care and other things about bunnies that is not pedantic. The star of the book is Bun, a delightful bunny owned by Jules who runs Fur Bridge Farm and can talk with her telepathically. It's a good plot with solid characters and even a bunny-napping! Besides the good read, there is lots about using spinning wheels to turn bunny (and other fur) into yarn for knitting, bunny care and rehab when owners tire of their pet, and, most surprising, bunny ...more

This series is starting to be a favorite. i loved the first installment and I loved this one.
It's an engrossing and entertaining read, a well written cozy mystery with an excellent cast of characters and a solid mystery that kept me guessing.
I appreciated the style of writing and the storytelling.
A fun read, highly recommended.
Many thanks to Kensington Books and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

Its the first book I read in the Jules & Bun series, and it can be read as a standalone. Its based on a quirky concept since Jules can communicate with Bun, her rabbit.  Its an easy read. A cosy mystery with an unexpected ending. Overall, I was annoyed by the insufficient formatting in the Kindle version (erratic sentence breaks, and so on). Also, the file lacked a TOC. A pity because its useful to know how much time is left when reading a chapter, and to navigate freely if necessary. ...more

Another great read with Jules & Bun.
I love Buns up front attitude super sleuth. And of course he is ever so helpful!
Jules is a great sleuth, but definitely finds herself in harm's way quite a bit. I have a feeling this series will progress with her getting better at that.
I look forward to book #3!

Cute cozy mystery series. The care Jules gives to her rabbits, including the one who talks to her, makes me think I really mistreated my own. Just enough danger to make you forget that the rabbit is solving the mystery.
