"How do you frighten frightening people? You become frightening yourself."

Twisted Fates was a book that I needed right after I finished reading Stolen Time. The ending to the first book shocked me and this one ended the same way. I devoured both of these books and Im bloodthirsty for more.

These adventurous time travelers are back and theyre raising all kinds of hell. Not only do deathly fates come true but they see the future and it shocks them to their core.

The Dark Stars series is my absolute

Ever since I read the first book, which was included in the Book Box Club, I was already really looking forward to the second book. There were so many questions unanswered and there were so many unexpected twists and turns. I just HAD to know where this would all go, how this would end, where this would lead.

I will start with the bad news: Although this book does give a few answers, it comes with loads and loads more questions, a few very surprising reveals and even more twists and turns. But I

Loved the first book and devoured this one. Although, I am extremely confused about the ending. My only complaint about this story is that I wish there were more fans so I could talk with them and theorize about what the heck is going on!!! I feel a little dumb lol but Im just wanting moooore! Cant wait till book 3! ...more

**3.5 stars but rounded up to a 4 due to the ending chapters**
What the crap just happened?! I have a theory that I'm pretty sure is true but how are things going to end?? I liked how twisty things got and I can't wait for the final book. While the first half was a bit dry, this is still a good and underrated series for YA sci-fi. I liked the first book more, since I thought the pacing was better and the characters felt more layered and richer, but still a good sequel with

4.5 stars!!

What can I say, my mind is blown.
This was an excellent sequel in a thrilling series. I was completely captivated by the first book and this book kept me guessing the entire time.

I lived for each page and now I CANNOT wait to read the next book.

Oh wow!! This book was better than the first one!!!

Just flew right through it!

I suggest while you all read this, look up some pics of the Fairmont Hotel in Seattle, Washington. It is so beautiful and really helps when imagining the masked party/ball.

Now how do I explain this book? Or the feelings it left me with? How do you explain something so complex, yet simple?
The science of it is pretty easy to understand with the whole Time is a circle thing, and so right for this book.
The main

Oh. My. GOD. what kind of an ending is that?!
How long do I have to wait for the next book? Will I be alive until then or will the suspense kill me? Aarrrggghhh.

Events moved quite swiftly in this book, with brief flashbacks to how Quinn got her reputation and the Black Cirkus because what it is. Meanwhile Ash and his friends are frantically trying to decipher the Professor's notes and figure out anything that can help. In the process of doing so, Zora uncovers a pattern that brings a devastating

I choked down Twisted Fates in less than 24 hours; what can I say, once I picked it up I just couldn't picked it down. Admittedly, I had been quite desperate for a long time to see Shannon's story line resolved (so needless to say, when I got my hands on this book it was on!

Without giving a whole lot away, Shannon had obviously been living in a sort of limbo for a while, living with both the physical and mental scars inflicted upon her by Brian, before Lindsay, once again, steps in to save her.

So good!!! But it was so disappointing to find out that this series is not a duology. I don't know how I'm going to manage to wait for the next book to come out.

I did feel that the ending was a little unfinished, almost as if a thought was cut off. This was a bit shocking to me because the first book ended so well. That said, I'm kind of glad that the ending was a bit anticlimactic because it will help make waiting for the next book a little bit easier. Instead of going crazy wondering what's
Wow, this series. So I'll start with the only negative I had about this book, which was that the first half seemed a bit slow to me. At first, I was wondering if this book would suffer "middle book syndrome" and be more of a filler than anything, but definitely not. Once you get to the second half, things definitely pick up. There's a lot we find out, which is great, but it always leaves you with a lot more questions as well. The ending, just like the first book, leaves you on a huge ...more

Supposedly there is a third book?! I was so confused by that ending... it makes absolutely no sense. Otherwise, Twisted Fates is a fun time travel novel. Although, there really isn't all that much time traveling in this book... Actually, now that I think about it, not much really happens..? And yet, I enjoyed reading it (except for that ending, which really threw me for a loop because I thought this was the final book).

So... speechless.

Im not even entirely sure how to rate this book. I LOVED the first book and I would have enjoyed the second one just as much if the ending didnt leave me so... confused. Not sure if it is in a good way or not. It is going to be painful to wait for the next book, that is for sure.

So wait, this is a trilogy now? I thought this was supposed to be the second and last book, but its clear from that major cliffhanger that there will be at least one more. Im good with that actually, because this series is SO good, but I wish I had known before I started this one.

Also, am I the only one utterly confused by the last two chapters?
