Tiger's Strength: A Rogue Spotter Universe Novel

Family holidays are never easy, especially when Vampyres are on the hunt.

When Raina obligates Baran to spend Thanksgiving with his mother’s family, he isn’t looking forward to the trip. Old skeletons from the family’s past soon become the least of their worries, however, when a clutch of Vampyres makes their way into the New World. The vile creatures threaten not only the security of the Therian people but hundreds of innocent lives.

As Raina struggles to prevent family turmoil from driving a wedge between her and Baran, she soon learns that Maine may be home to the Tigers but a Half-Elven Leopardess is not welcome. Between Baran’s reckless younger brother and his own mother’s schemes to separate the two, this holiday is a disaster in the making. But when Vampyres target Baran’s family, he and Raina will have to push past grievances to end the threat.

But this challenge may prove too much even for the Tiger’s strength.

Clean romance, action & adventure, and snarky humor come to life in The Therian Way, an urban fantasy supernatural romantic thriller series set in the Rogue Spotter universe.

I hesitated in reading this installment of the series, I don't like reading about or watching anything having to do with Vampires (or Vampyres is this book). I really like the love story in this series, it isn't all mushy and gushy, but it's real - she drives him nuts because she has a more carefree attitude towards life; he's very serious and wanting to do things "by the book", or the Therian Way, but he is so very serious.

Home for the holidays is not a nice thing when it's Baran's family home. Mom is determined to get rid of Raina and have Baran marry her choice, and that woman will do anything to get him. Raina trusts Baran and she fights to get her MIL's approval, but all she gets from her is hate.

Then there is the Vampyre attack. This part I didn't like, but all the important people survive, even MIL and that because Raina saves her!

A clean read.

More of Baran and Raina

Enjoyed the story, the characters, and the story world. Lots of great tension due to the clash in personalities and Baran's deep hurts from what he feels is a shameful past. Not only that but the Vampyres want to kill both Baran and Raina while Barans mother seeks to destroy their marriage.

Great Book!

I loved learning more about Baran’s past and understanding what makes him they way he is. I continue to enjoy watching Raina’s & Baran’s relationship deepen and grow. Oh, and don’t forget the excitement that Vampyres add!

This is a consistently entertaining series. The complexities of Baran and Raina's relationship are still interesting. Thank heavens, Raina being jealous and insecure is no longer a plot line. That would have gotten tedious. Meeting Baran's mother does offer a lot of insight into his personality.
