Romance, erotismo y sensualidad se mezclan en esta historia, que aunque se trata de un cliché, engancha.
Zoe se siente atraída desde siempre por su vecino Seth, pero éste está tan ocupado con su trabajo y cuidando solo de su hija que ni siquiera se fija en ella, ni en nadie.
Su hija es un pequeño diablillo, las niñeras no le duran más que un par de días, así que cuando Zoe ve el anuncio, no duda en solicitar el puesto.
La química y la atracción entre ambos es innegable, saltan chispas cuando están en la misma habitación. Pero Seth tiene equipaje, uno que debe decidir si quiere compartir o no.
Me ha gustado mucho, es un romance que crece poco a poco, aunque la atracción sea instantánea.
Está narrado en primera persona, cada capítulo desde el punto de vista de uno de los personajes.
Alicia, la hija de Seth, aunque es un personaje secundario, te llegará al corazón y te cautivará.
Es una historia que se lee muy rápido, yo la leí en una tarde. Aunque debo reconocer que se me ha hecho corto, me hubiese gustado que la historia estuviese un poco más desarrollada.

Con el título del libro ya es evidente de lo que va la historia, Este nos cuenta la historia de Zoe, ella siempre se ha sentido atraída por su vecino Seth, un hombre multimillonario y misterioso, él no se relaciona con muchas personas, su atención está centrada en su pequeña hija. Zoe nunca ha hablado con él, ni siquiera sabe de su existencia. La hija de cinco años de él, llamada Olivia, es bastante traviesa, no dura por mucho tiempo con sus niñeras, les hace muchas bromas y ellas no las toleran y se van, con la ultima niñera pasó igual. Entonces Seth necesita urgentemente una niñera, con su trabajo que le demanda mucho tiempo no puede estar siempre en la casa y su esposa falleció, por lo tanto, debe contratar a alguien que le cuida a su pequeña. Cuando Zoe, navegando por internet buscando trabajo, ve este anuncio, no pierde la oportunidad y solicita el puesto y obviamente es contratada. Luego de esto veremos como transcurre la historia entre Seth y Zoe, y como va fluyendo la atracción.

Pues, esta es una historia bastante corta y la verdad no me emocionó mucho, fue entretenida y ya está. Se lee muy rápido y se puede pasar un buen rato, las cosas iban fluyendo y no pude parar de leer, no me duro casi nada, me lo terminé en un día. Aunque no es la gran cosa.
Los personajes fueron bastante planos, Seth y Zoe me daban igual, casi no sentí esa chispa entre ellos. Zoe estaba perdidamente enamorada de este hombre y ni si quiera lo había conocido, la verdad es que hubo momentos en que ella me parecía muy boba. Seth, él no supera la muerte de la esposa y por eso es bastante solitario, el centro de su vida es su hija, además del trabajo, él me pareció simple, XD, o sea no me cautivó. Tiene sus partes sensuales, pero, reitero otra vez, todo me dio igual.

La trama en general también es bastante plana, los personajes secundarios que hay, son de relleno, aparecen muy pocos, es que los protagonistas no es que tengan una interacción con muchas personas. Ella solo hablaba con su mejor amiga y eso por teléfono. Y él, con su secretario y chofer. Al ser tan corta la historia no se desarrollan mucho las cosas y eso hace que todo sea muy flojo, además de que las cosas pasan mucho más rápidas. Todos los personajes me dieron igual, hasta Olivia, la niña, y eso que me gustan cuando hay niños en las historias.

En conclusión, una historia que entretiene y ya está, sirve para pasar un buen rato, los personajes no generan emociones, pero sus cosas distraen. Todo es muy plano y flojo, pero lo bueno es que es corto y se lee muy rápido.

It was cute, predictable and a bit boring.

Next Door Daddy was a pretty quick read. I liked Seth, Alicia, and Zoe for the main characters and even liked the two side characters as well: Mark and Jason. They were all written pretty well which is probably why I enjoyed it so much. Yet, I did still find myself being rather bored with everything. Maybe it was the predictability or maybe I've just read way too many romance books this weekend.

Seth needs a nanny for his darling spawn of Satan, Alicia. She has somehow gotten every nanny of hers to run away and never look back. I mean, all she wants is her daddy to stay home with her. Well, until the day Zoe comes along. With zero nanny experience, unless you count babysitting her younger siblings growing up, she has somehow made Alicia a better kid. She doesn't throw tantrums anymore and she's falling in love with Zoe. So much that she wants her to be her mom.

Wait what?

Long story short, there is an HEA and everything was cute.

This was such a great book! I was captivated by all the characters. Even the side characters of Jason (secretary) and Mark (driver), everyone was so well written you could just feel their personalities.

Seth is a single father, his wife Rose passed away four years ago from cancer. His daughter Alicia is a bit of a handful, she doesn't want her daddy to go to work so she's terrible to every nanny her hires. He's gone through so many nannies that nobody even replied to his help wanted add anymore. Them he gets an application from Zoey, someone with no experience but hey, he's desperate.

Zoey has a major crush on her neighbor but she's too shy to actually talk to him. He always seems in such a rush and for some reason his nannies never stay for long. What could be the problem? She hates her current job and when she co.we across his ad for another new nanny she figures why not, never hurts to try. She is shocked to actually get the job.

Call in love with these characters as you watch them fall in love with each other. You will laugh, you will cry and you'll be fully invested in their HEA.

I loved this story – it is wonderful when the story has a meaning of true love in it not just lust. This story is about Seth, Zoe and Amelia. I love the character of Amelia; she is Seth’s 5-year old daughter. Seth is rich and a widow, whom he truly loved his wife, so much that he didn’t date, or anything just lived and worked for his precious daughter. Amelia seems to be able to go through nannies like no else can imagine all to make her father spend time with her. Well here come Zoe who is their neighbor, but they have never met, and she is not rich. She has always had a crush on Seth but didn’t know what the circumstances in their household, so she kept her distance. Seth is looking for a new nanny as another one quit and Zoe applies for the position as she figures this will get her noticed by him. The story takes off from there and it is awesome – Amelia learns quick lessons as Zoe puts her foot down and Seth begins to admire her, but will it be enough as Seth only true love apart from his daughter is his late wife. This story will make you laugh as Amelia is a hoot and Zoe is right behind her.

This was an enjoyable read. Zoe has been living next door to Seth for and has had the hots for him for quite some time. However, he is busy taking care of his 5 year old daughter. Thanks to his daughter's behavior he is going through a lot of nannies. Zoe is his lifesaver and takes on this new job for him. Of course they fall in love and everyone is happy.

I loved these 2 characters and there was chemistry right away,,,,,, Alicia was a brat from the moment they met, but Zoe had something for her every time she thought she had Zoe,,,,, this was a cute story I thought between Zoe and Seth,,,, the things they thought about each other ,,, this had some adventure,,,, some adventure and some of that amazing steamy scenes ,,,,I would so totally recommend this book to anyone,,,,,,

This was such a great story and all the emotions that came along with it. Seth Gray is a single dad trying to raise his daughter Alica who is five from driving his crazy by getting rid of one nanny after the other, so now nobody wants to work for him anymore so what’s a billionaire to do. Zoey Jones lives next door to Seth only because of her lottery win and has wild dirty fantasy’s about him everyday but he doesn’t even know she is alive when he walks past her at the letter box he just gets in the car a leaves for work. Zoey has noticed a lot of nannies coming and going but it’s not her problem and let’s it go. Zoey works at the pet shop but longs to do something else so while on her break she searches for a new job and an add for a nanny comes up and it’s working for Seth Gray and his daughter this would be perfect if she got it she could finally be a part of his life and more but with no experience not a chance but she applies anyway. And then he arranges a meeting and not long after it she has the job, now after her first day she can understand why the nannies leave all the time the little girl Alica is evil and with a good aim leaving a mark on her forehead which of course Seth apologies for not telling her his daughter is a little wild. But Zoey doesn’t give up and soon they become friends and Seth notices the changes in Alica and is impressed by Zoey but it’s more than that Seth has started to notice Zoey and one night they carn’t help themselves and have a night of pure passion but in the morning Seth feels guilty and pushes Zoey away because he feels he betrayed his dead wife’s memory. How does this all turn out jump on this roller coaster ride between them all to find out you won’t be disappointed.

There are so many ways that Ms. Ford astounds me; with her talent as well as with her creativity. The publication of Next Door Daddy completely took me by surprise and I was floored by the absolute depth of this book. I can not tell you specifically as to why I said I loved this particular book; even though I find that everything Mia publishes is a hard-hitting, beautifully written romance; where everyone receives a much deserved happily ever after). This release will break your heart and then put it back together again seamlessly. Next Door Daddy is definitely one of those reads that you don't want to see end. The cast of characters are superbly designed and I considered this book to be a gift to read, albeit a breathtakingly beautiful one. Everyone needs love, the main three characters more than most. A Widower, Seth, is not only missing his Wife but having trouble finding and keeping a Nanny for his Daughter, Amelia. In an act of desperation, he advertises for just that, a Nanny to take care of his heart; Amelia. Not knowing the situation that surrounds this ready made Family, Zoe, who just so happens to be crushing on Seth, finds herself answering the ad. Her mindset is that maybe, just maybe, he'll notice her... because living next door has done nothing to help her cause. What follows is so superbly designed, that I actually lack the proper words to describe. Trust that you will most definitely be completely enthralled from beginning to end.

This is a wonderful love story where Seth a very wealthy widower is raising his 5 year old daughter, Alicia as best as he can. Alicia is one tough cookie and gives each and every nanny a hard time and scares them off! Zoe is a young woman who lives in a smaller home across the street as she takes her lottery winnings and buys the home. Zoe is an artist and recently can not finish a painting and who needs a muse. Everyday Zoe watches Seth come and go and wants to get to know the sexy and brooding man. When Seth gets desperate he has to seriously consider Zoe’s application and hire her for Alicia’s Nanny as he knows no one else will consider working for him with the way Alicia behaves. After the interview Seth lets Zoe know she has the job and one thing we learn about Zoe is she could care less about his money and she genuinely cares for Alicia and wants to care for Seth. Zoe comes in and slowly handles Alicia and treats her with love and care and she improves her behavior and turns into a beautiful little girl. As Seth and Zoe get to know one another they end of spending the night together and Zoe is in pure delight and Seth crushes her and ends whatever she thought was possible. Once Zoe learns about Seth’s past she understands but is still hurt. Seth made me mad when he went hot and cold and in the process hurt Zoe. Seth has gone through so many nannies that he doesn't know if he will be able to find another when his latest quits. Zoe is an artist that lives next door to Seth and his daughter after she won the lottery she works in a pet store while she paints at home. When she sees another posting online from Seth for a nanny she sends her resume to him even though she isn't exactly qualified. Seth isn't surprised that his responses has shrunk down to just one Zoe. However what he doesn't know when she comes for the interview is the she's his neighbor. He gives her a chance because he has no other options but all the while he worries because his daughter is basically a hell raiser so its no surprise to him that he comes home and finds Zoe has been injured on her first day. He is shocked that she wants to come back. Zoe knows that Alicia is acting out because she hasn't been disciplined and has always gotten her way so slowly she will show her how she wont always get what she wants. When Seth sees the changes slowly happening for the better in his daughter he knows that Zoe was the right choice however there's just one problem his growing attraction to her. Will Seth see that they are a perfect match or will he send Zoe away?

This is an amazing story about a second chance at love. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Zoe has been living next door to Billionaire Seth since he moved in. She has been dreaming the day she would be with Seth and share her bed with him.
She has noticed, he has a little girl and nannies who doesn't stay longer than a month. Zoe wanted something better than working at the pet store and she just hoped she could work as a nanny so she could get closer to Seth.
When Seth lost last nanny. He was getting desperate to hire another one.. He knows his daughter Alicia is spoiled, handful but he can't seem to find anyone could stay long enough to stay with Alicia.
When Zoe apply for the position as Alicia's nanny, she never thought it would be this much work for her. She knew Alicia was handful but she was determined to look after her.
Seth was impressed how Zoe handles Alicia and his daughter is really loving Zoe. Not only Zoe great, Seth can't keep his eyes off her. One thing leads to another and they have a passionate night but he regrets and he doesn't want to repeat. It won't be easy.
Seth will have to figure out how to keep his daughter happy and keep Zoe but his attraction is getting stronger and he is afraid he will lose everything if their relationship doesn't last. What will he choose?
It was quick read. All Alicia, Zoe and Seth were cute. Zoe was bit obsessive toward Seth in the beginning and her dreams were little too much at times. Their dynamic was really cute.

Zoe, having won the lotto, was able to buy a house next door to billionaire Seth Gray, a handsome widower and father of a little 5-year-old girl named Alicia. Alicia acts totally like a spoiled brat, making sure her behavior drives the nannies away. Seth is having a difficult time of it trying to find a nanny willing to hang in there and endure the difficult job. Since word got around about the awful behavior of the child, many people wouldn’t even apply, which gave the inexperienced Zoe less competition when she submitted her application. To her surprise and delight, she got the job!

Zoe doesn’t care about his money -- she just wants to get closer to Seth whom she watches as he leaves for work each day. Seth is still grieving over his wife but eventually realizes his attraction to Zoe. Seth wants only to keep Alicia happy. Can Zoe’s presence in their lives and the love she has to share take away some of the pain in his past? Will he discover that he and Zoe might just have a chance of becoming a happy family if he gives it a chance? Will he realize that he definitely won’t have any opposition from Alicia on that score!

This was a well-written book with a fun story line. The characters were very likable and it was fun watching how they all changed as they interacted together. Grab your copy and see what kind of a future might be waiting for them!

Zoe has been attracted to her neighbour, a hot single dad who just happens to live next door. But he doesn’t even look her way.Seth a billionaire widow is focused on two things, his daughter and his work. His biggest problem is his daughter, Alicia, who is constantly driving away the nannies. After she causes the last one to quit, he puts out another ad but isn’t hopeful he is going to get a response. Meanwhile, Zoe is looking for a new job and applies to be his new nanny. She is his only applicant and although she isn’t qualified, he is desperate and gives her a chance. Let the sparks fly.

This is a wonderfully written love story complete with hot steamy love scenes. The characters are amazingly interesting and you become invested in their lives. It is a rollercoaster of emotions as the characters deal with the events unfolding in their lives. The author expertly weaves the sex scenes into the storyline so they enhance the love story rather than detract from it. It is a great read and if you like hot steamy romance with substance then this is the book for you.

Seth Gray and Zoe Jones are next door neighbors and Zoe can't stop watching him each day as he comes and goes. Not only is he gorgeous, but a billionaire. She really doesn't need or want his money, though, since she just won the lottery. She was an art major in college and has been struggling. Her muse has disappeared so, for now, she's working in a pet store. Seth has his hands full with his daughter, Alicia. Her mother, Rose, died of cancer when she was just a little one and her life revolves around her dad and the numerous nannies she's gone through. Alicia just wants her dad and she's figured out that if she terrorizes the nanny, Dad has to stay home with her. Alicia's poor behavior isn't a secret and quite a few of her prospective nannies back down because of her reputation. Seth needs someone fast and even though Zoe has no experience, she's hired. Zoe is determined to win them both over and it's a joy to watch her handle Alicia so well. Seth is slowly realizing what Zoe means to him, too, but he isn't sure that he's ready to love again. This is a sweet and sexy story of people who have an empty spot in their hearts and how it's up to them to be able to fill it. Precious!

This book brings us Seth, Zoe and Alicia. Seth is a single father, living with his daughter Alicia. Zoe, is their next door neighbor, whom Seth has never paid attention to. This is the exact opposite of Zoe. Zoe has watch from afar, and when she gets closer to Seth, she freezes up. Seth's daughter Alicia has had a hard childhood, and she tests each nanny that Seth hires. And, they all quit! Seth is at his wits end, thinking he'll have to start to work from home, when Zoe applies for his nanny ad. Seth isn't sure it's the right thing to do as Zoe really has no experience with children except for her siblings. He does hire her on a trial basis, and is shocked at the change he sees in Alicia. Zoe was the perfect person in dealing with Alicia. Alicia learns lessons from Zoe, and they start to become close, which Seth admires. However, the more time he is around Zoe, his feelings also become involved. Seth is conflicted about his feelings for Zoe and for that of his wife who died, and he is riddled with guilt. Will they get together finally? Read and find out. This is such a good read, and I highly recommend it. I did receive an arc for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this book. This was the second book that I have read from Mia Ford and I really enjoyed it. This was the story of Seth and Zoe. Seth was looking for a nanny for his little girl, Alicia. Alicia wasn't too happy with any of the nannies that she had. She always tried to figure out a way to get rid of them. Zoe was their next door neighbor and was smitten with him from afar. Zoe was in need for a change in her career and she came across the ad that Seth placed for a nanny. She had some issues at first but as the time went on, Alicia and Zoe start to figure out how to work with each other. This book was a great read and it leaves you rooting for the whole family to get the happiness they deserve.

I liked the idea of the story, but I felt like there were too many inconsistencies or holes in the story to really make it feel believable.

Zoey and Seth are neighbors and Zoey lands a job as a nanny for Seth's daughter, Alicia. Seth is handsome, rich and turns out to be a very loving father. But, Seth's past makes it hard for him to move on and find love in a new relationship. Meanwhile, Zoey is beautiful and looking to explore what is possible with Seth.

There are parts of this story that are rushed, but are sweet and loving. But then, there are parts that do not fit. These parts are thrown in to try to piece together the story and it makes the story feel disconnected sometimes. Overall, okay story for me.

Hottie next door

Zoe has admired theSeth the hot billionaire next door. He has a daughter who has revolving nannies. She sees her from time to time playing in the yard. While on her break she sees an add on this website for a nanny. She applies for the job. Seth replies to her add and requests an interview. Seth meets Zoe at a coffee shop. She is not the typical nanny. He is desperate. His daughter is very difficult and chases the nannies away. He ends up hiring Zoe. She turns out to be better than any professional nanny. He starts developing feelings for her. One thing led to another and they had sex. He doesn’t want to lose her as a nanny. He can’t afford to lose her. He just can’t keep his hands and other things off her. I enjoyed this story. Definitely recommend this!!

Zoe won the lottery and bought a small house next door to billionaire tycoon Seth and his 5 year old daughter. She tries talking to him every morning he leaves for work but is never successful. She notices he goes through lots of nannies and doesn’t know why. While tired of her job she looks on a job site and notices Seth has posted another request so she applies.

A wonderful book by Mia Ford. I have read a number of her books and this is among the best. An enjoyable, fast-moving story about two interesting people – Zoe and Seth. He is a wealthy widower with a 5 year old child who hates all the nannies that have been taking care of her. She becomes nanny to his child, after having developed a crush on him – and develops a wonderful rapport with the child. The story of how their love affair develops – filled with some very expressive sexual scenes – is enjoyable and emotional. All three characters – including the child – are strong and likable – and the story has a proper HEA.

Zoe moved next door to a hot guy who has a young daughter. Zoe has been lusting and dreaming of Seth Gray but he doesn't know she exists. Because Zoe's inspiration for painting has gone bust, she answers an ad for a nanny for Seth's daughter Alicia. Alicia is a spoiled and misunderstood 5 year old. Because of the death of Alicia's mother, she wants her father all to herself and drives the other nanny's away. Zoe has Alicia's number and helps her become a well behaved young lady. The author writes about the growth of these three main characters. Change and love can grow from a tragic death of Alicia's mother. Guilt can be put aside to find love again and to live.❤

This was a good story, but if you don't like a lot of sex scenes this book is not for you. About half the book is having sex or dreaming of having sex. We have Zoe who won enough money to buy a house next door to Seth who is a billionaire. She has the hots for him and he never notices her. Seth is having trouble keeping nannies because his daughter makes them leave. When Zoe applies for the job, will Seth hire her? If he does can she do the job? Will she get her wish and Seth look at her more? Seth is still grieving his wife, can he let someone else into his life? Why can't his daughter understand that he has to work?

Seth Is a single dad to his little 5-year-old daughter after his wife passed away, and he is only focused on his daughter and work, the only problem being is getting a nanny to stay with Alicia playing up and ensuring that they don’t stay around for long. Zoey is Seth’s next-door neighbour, and she has had a crush on him for some time, but he never seems to notice her, and she is too shy to speak first. When Zoey sees yet another advertisement for a nanny she applies for the position as she hates her present job, and she gets the position even though she has no previous experience. This is a well written tale which is full of emotions, and is a heartwarming, entertaining and steamy read. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend for all.

Zoe the painter who has lost her inspiration and can no longer finish a picture admires the millionaire man. of her dreams next door.
Seth constantly busy with running his own business and caring for his 5 year old daughter hasn’t even noticed Zoe.
Being spoilt and not liking being apart from Seth his 5 year old daughter manages to send yet another nanny running for the hills,
Zoe applies for the job and alltho she has no experience Seth is desperate, inevitably sparks fly between the 2 of them but Seth is reluctant to spoil the relationship Zoe and his daughter have made and move forward.
