Mabel “Maybe” Willis died a virgin at the very young age of twenty-four. She leaves behind her parents, Betty and Bruce, her brother, Evan, a laptop filled with one too many Jason Momoa memes, and a Kindle library with more books than one human being could ever finish in a lifetime.
Cause of death: a text message.

Okay. So, I didn’t die.
But I may as well have.

This is the first book I've read by the writing team Max Monroe, and I really enjoyed their writing voice and style.

This is also one of my favourite tropes (What started as a juvenile crush, turns into falling for the older brother's best friend).

I had high hopes for this story and Max Monroe did not disappoint!

When Milo realizes that his best friends younger sister, Mabel (Maybe) has grown up to be a smart, confident, and beautiful young woman it s

LOL, ROTFL and LMAO! Max Monroe never disappoints when it comes to light and totally swoon-worthy stories! And add to that their signature snarky sense of humor and you’re set for a great read. My Brother's Billionaire Best Friend is funny, flirtatious and steamy story that will make you burst out laughing!

Sexy. Fun. Flirty. Hilariously entertaining.

I love a good brother’s best friend romance and it’s even better when it’s also a rom com. I laughed so much and so hard while reading, I’m talking belly-aching-tears-in-my-eyes cackling. I haven’t laughed that much when reading a book in who knows how long. My Brother’s Billionaire Best Friend hit all the feel-good spots.

Maybe and her adorable awkwardness got me every time. Her antics had me laughing nonstop. I loved how quirky and innocent she

I completely adore this book! I adore Maybe and Milo. I adore all the side characters (I can't decide if I want to work at Bruce Willis & sons Floral or Jovial Grinds...but I know it needs to be one of these places, if not BOTH).
Maybe and Milo are so fantastic together!! At first I wanted there to be a little more bump & grind but as I finished the book, I was happy that it wasn't

I have to admit that there are some romantic tropes that I don’t accept well, and they feel like a “long shot” to suspending my disbelief. One of those tropes is the forbidden brother’s/sister’s best friend.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I didn’t care too much who my brother dated (and vice versa), but when I read that trope, it always strikes me that it really is no one’s business who a person dates. Even more, if you are best friends with someone, it follo

Woohoo, a new Max Monroe is here!

I mean, any book that has a chance of having a bit of Thatch time (I know, I know it is not all about him) is a great start to the day.

Milo and Maybe's story didn't start out great for me (and this is more to do with me and my state of mind than the book) and the first 20% I was not enthralled with, however after that I couldn't wait to turn each page.

It was cute and adorable watching as Milo struggled with his feelings for his be

Max Monroe are a writing duo that go into my feel good category. Yes, I do categorize my authors by how their books make me feel after and during the time I read them. They never fail to make me laugh and are always there when I need a pick me up.

And My Brother's Billionaire Best Friend is no different. It's a sort of forbidden friends-to-lovers story, but not exactly. As always the book is well written and easy to follow without getting bo

I have yet to read a book by the talented author duo that is Max Monroe that I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed. Always hilarious, their romantic comedies pack a one-two punch of steam and story. Creative, imaginative plots, endearing, relatable characters and romances that are as heart-tugging as they are heart-pounding, Max and Monroe deliver the goods every single time. Teetering on the edge of ridiculous, the humor in their stories is the kind of stuff that makes readers laugh audibly, s

A hilarious and sweet romance that has so many LOL moments.

I’m a huge fan of these authors and I loved the first book in the series so I couldn’t wait to read this one.

This was such a great book; partly due to the story, but mainly due to the characters. Milo is a workaholic who never makes time for anything else. Yes, he loves his family and has a close knit group of friends (even though they drive him bonkers), but he is starting to get jealous of his friends that are settling down. Maybe is a recent college graduate who is working at her family's floral shop until she can procure a job in the publishing industry. When her young girl crush, also her brother ...more

But now Maybe’s back in town after getting her degree, working in the family flower shop, while trying to find a publishing job in the City.

3.75-4 stars. This was a good book. My Billionaire Brother's Best Friend (that's a mouthful) is Milo and Mabel/Maybe's story. Milo is best friends with Maybe's older brother. They grew up together and are very close. Maybe is 6 years younger and always crushed on Milo, but hasn't seen him in over ten years. She just graduated from college, getting her master's degree, and moved back to NYC, looking for a job in publishing. She is working in her parent's flower shop when Milo comes in to order hi ...more

Just what I need the “Introduction” already had me laughing so hard tears are misting up my already blurry eyesight. Is there no mercy with these authors? They take everyday life and push it to a whole other dimension that leaves you grabbing your sides and making it difficult to breathe from grasping for air from the laughter you will enjoy.

I LOVE this book! My Brother’s Best Billionaire Friend by Max Monroe

Have you ever gone through a dry spell after reading a good book where no matter what you try to read isn’t making it?
That was me until I picked up Max Monroe’s My Brother’s Best Billionaire Friend. I was out of my slump on the first page. I don’t normally seek out Billionaire books nor do I enjoy all rom-coms but since Max Monroe is a 1-click “I don’t care what it’s about” authors for me I knew I’d made a good choice. This book

If someone told me to describe this book in one sentence I would go with "Don't give Maybe any kinds of drugs" or "if you do, keep her isolated with no human contact". Yes, I am being melodramatic. Drugged Maybe was a fun Maybe and I lover her too. I didn't mind the virgin trope, but I minded the brief info's about Milo's sexual history. If you are going to make a heroine "pure", I don't want to read that Milo had a threesome back in college. Some things are best to be kept hidden.

I will admit, that the first 10-15% of this book had me thinking I was going to dislike it, and get really frustrated with the characters. Plus I really am not a fan of weirdly name characters in books (Maybe? I know its a nickname, but it still annoyed me haha). But once I pushed through that, and got to the real start of the story, where things begin to get more meaty, I found myself really enjoying it.

Maybe Willis had a huge crush on her brother's best friend when she was growing up. When Milo comes into her parent's flower shop and has no clue who she is, her pride takes a hit. Even though it had been years since they saw each other, she thought surely he would have recognized her. Once Maybe saw Milo again, he is all she can think about, its like her teenage years all over again. After a bit of a texting mishap, and a call from Maybe's brother asking Milo to help

My Brother's Billionaire Best Friend is the next best thing to Kevin Hart's stand-up comedies. I seriously have not laughed this much in such a long time. I am not kidding when I say, this is the funniest book I have ever read. The references used were hysterical, the best of the best. Like, " I pull a Nike, and Just Do It." In fact, this is the best book Max Monroe has ever wrote. From the friendships and trash talk to the familiarity between one another. Each character was an original with suc ...more

I love awkward texting in books, and this book is full of awkward texting. Maybe is so cute in her awkwardness, she is a very home town girl in an adorable package. She has finally reached that point in life where she is throwing in the towel and basically saying YOLO. I really liked how her texting seems to of made her bolder and we got to see both sides responses to most of the text exchanges. Loved this story!

"Milo is the one guy who makes me realize why I've never dated or been in a long-term relationship...It's like I've been waiting for him or something."

Mabel AKA Maybe Willis is still a virgin at 24. She's back in NYC after finishing her Masters and is working in her parents' florist shop until she finds her dream job with a publishing house. The thing about any book published by the dynamic duo Max Monroe is that you’re guaranteed to love it. It will make you laugh. It might even make you cry because you laughed so hard. My Brother’s Billionaire Best Friend was absolutely hilarious. It’s a little sister/best friends older brother romance. It’s the kind of relationship between two people who should be off limits to each other and the kind of relationship which potentially causes problems between a whole heap of people.
