Fundamentals of Modern Manufacturing: Materials, Processes, and Systems

Rate this book
Engineers rely on Groover because of the book’s quantitative and engineering-oriented approach that provides more equations and numerical problem exercises. The fourth edition introduces more modern topics, including new materials, processes and systems. End of chapter problems are also thoroughly revised to make the material more relevant. Several figures have been enhanced to significantly improve the quality of artwork. All of these changes will help engineers better understand the topic and how to apply it in the field.

This is probably the best textbook I have ever had the pleasure to read. The writing is clear and concise. Professional without being boring. Each section is very clearly organized with diagrams. It’s very minimalistic but still contains all the relevant information. And it’s fairly thin and light making it easy to stuff in bags and bring with you without feeling like you’re lugging around a textbook. 10/10 would recommend.
