I, personally, am grateful for this book. For the martial artist-- particularly the isolated Wing Chun practitioner with little expectation of ever seeing Hong Kong--this is a worthwhile read. Some will have issues with the limited command of the English language; but throughout the text, the author apologizes for his shortcomings. Rather, we should focus on the revelations of time, study and experience Sifu Cliff presents as a student of the late Wong Shun Leung.
The book is divided, to my reading, in three sections. The first concerns itself with Wong' s life. Second is an overview of Wong' s concentration and teachings during various eras of his career. Finally, we get reflection on Sifu Cliff' s career as student and teacher.
This is a labor of love, and Sifu Cliff--thank you.
