Overnight Service

Top three reasons why sleeping with the enemy is a bad idea...

1. She’s my fiercest rival.
2. She’s also my fiery ex.
3. We’re going up against each other in a stiff competition to win the hottest new client on the market.

And yet, I’d like to be up against the wall in a stiff competition to get her to call out my name.

Time to double down on my resistance to her tough-as-nails, take-no-prisoners, sexy-as-sin attitude. The same attitude that I find irresistible.

That’s the big problem, because in this race to nab the client I run into Haven in the hotel, on the beach, in the guest quarters late at night.

Hate sex would be a terrible idea.

Except, it’s the complete opposite, and now we can’t keep our hands off each other.

Trouble is, I’m not so sure it’s hate I’m feeling anymore.

And that’s the biggest reason sleeping with the enemy you’re falling for is a bad idea -- my job literally depends on never letting her into my heart.

Overnight Service is Lauren Blakely's newest masterpiece! It's the fourth book in the Always Satisfied series, but can be read as a standalone, but why would you want to do that? This series is one of my favorite of all time! I have read (an listened to almost as many) every word Lauren has written and she keeps amazing me with her brilliance, talent and amazing characters. This is why they call her Queen LB!

Story:
Overnight Service is a lovers-to-enemies-to lovers story and I loved everything about it! Josh and Haven are sports agents. They used to work together and they had a brief fling. Now they are fierce competitors going after the biggest rising stars in the sports world. Josh is a lawyer and Haven a gold medalist, so they each bring something unique to the table. Trouble is, the more they have to see each other, the more the line between hate and need blurs. They want to clear the air and be able to fight for the same clients without wanting to kill each other. But after a showdown and a seriously hot as sin case of hate sex, the game changes. Josh can't afford to be derailed. He has a client to win. But the more time he spends in Haven's company and her bed, he realizes some things are more important than the job. What happens when Josh and Haven can't ignore their feelings anymore? Is it the end of the rivalry and the beginning of their future? This story! Wow. It has all my favorite things. Humor, sexiness, foreplay, dirty talk, friendship and lust. Josh is confident, sexy and swoonworthy and I want him to braid my hair! Haven is smart, determined and sexy. I fell in love with both of them! Haven is one of my favorite heroines of Lauren's. I loved her dedication to her job and her life. Being a woman in a male dominated field isn't easy, but she knows how to fight and win. I loved seeing Jason and Sloane again and I love their tight friendships with Josh and Haven. I can't wait for Special Delivery!
Overall, I loved every word. I laughed, got hot and bothered, cheered, smiled and didn't want it to end.

Audio:
Lauren is a fantastic at casting her audiobooks. Overnight Service is another all star cast with
Jason Clarke, Emma Wilder, Andi Arndt, Shane East, Erin Mallon, Dion Graham, Dan Bittner, Teddy Hamilton, Vikas Adam, Lili Valente. Jason and Emma lead and they really stepped it up as Josh and Haven. Jason is always great, but he WAS Josh! Emma's voice was so sexy and perfect for Haven. Dan Bittner is a new to me narrator and I loved his smooth voice. Can't wait to hear more from him! Shane, Erin, Dion, Teddy, Vikas and Lili were all fabulous! I thought they all gave 110% and you could tell with their enthusiasm and perfection.

Josh Summers has never met someone more infuriating and sexy than his business nemesis Haven Delilah... the woman pushes his buttons like no one else. They both work in the sports agency business, and every time he sets his sights on a new client she is there circling, just waiting to hijack them from him. He'll admit she is darn good at what she does, she learned from the best of course, he taught her well... but she is really starting to test his patience, he has to up his game and teach her a lesson!

Overnight Service joins together a couple who are enemies in the sports agency world, and secret lovers outside of it. These two have a fiery, passionate, love-hate relationship that thrives on competition, both always trying to one-up the other and get the next big client. Now on opposite sides of the table they find it harder to deal with one another, Haven is always two steps behind Josh ready to woo his potential client and claim them for her own, and it drives him insane. Of all the people to have to compete with.. it's the one woman he can't seem to get over! Back when they shared the same employer he had a constant view of her day and night, and he started to fall hard for her, but then they were thrown for a unexpected loop at the office, and she decided to walk away...and she took his heart with her. I loved what I found between the pages of this one, it was a constant battle on every page, where the steam level was high and the tension even higher... these two sure knew how to keep the brimming with heat!! If you like steamy office romance stories, than I highly suggest you get your hands on this one, these two will treat you to a story that does not disappoint, it's steamy, emotional, and good on the heart!!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.

You just can’t go wrong reading anything by Lauren Blakely when looking for a rom/com with all the feels. Every book I read by this fabulous author, just gets better and better. Overnight Service is the latest in her new series of standalones.
This time, we have two rival sports agents who just happen to be at odds with one another. Haven Deliah and Josh Summers have been sorta friends and for a short time, lovers, but now they just think it’s hate that’s fueling their sizzling chemistry and snarky banter, but the truth is, the fine line has been drawn and crossed.
Their feelings for one another are obvious to everyone… except themselves. But when fate takes a hand in their fiery interactions and sets the course. Will she steer them straight or leave them to sink or swim?

Lauren Blakely has once again written another SINsational book boyfriend.  Her latest heartthrob is Josh Summers.  Josh is the extremely talented maestro that plays Haven Delilah’s body like a prized Stradivarius violin in a symphony worthy of multiple Oncores (😘). And the Os he delivers are certainly worthy of a standing Ovation.  Bravo 👏

Josh and Haven have a bittersweet relationship.  Coworkers, lovers, rivals, and enemies, whoa! He is the sports rep with a solid past for his clients and she is the new kid on the block and she’s packing a punch. When their personal relationship burns up along with their work relationship, both walk away.  But a new client has them battling not only for representation but for love.  Apparently, they aren’t done just yet.  What he never told Haven was why their work interfered with their personal lives and Haven refused to forgive him for his mistakes.

Josh is the ultimate in the man department with his romantic feelings, his willingness to go the distance for his partner, and the simple gestures he offers out of love.  And Haven is the girl we all want to be.  She is confident, strong, and a worthy opponent in any circumstance.  I loved how she owned herself, her pride, and her beliefs.

This was a slow burn with blistering heat that leaves you wanting and satisfied simultaneously.

I LOVED this story. It was entertaining, it was steamy and it was full of great banter. A fantastic enemies to lovers romance.

Josh is a sports agent, and his rival Haven is also his ex flame. These two did not end on the best of terms, they poach each other’s clients. They can’t stand to be near each other, until they finally decide to clear the air. However, there is a fine line between hate and want. What happens when that line begins to blur?

Josh, how can you not love him? He gave things up in the name of love when it came to his career. He is a romantic at heart, but also knows how to bring the steam. Haven is confident, she is strong and can hold her own in a male dominated field. She deserves everything she has in life because she had to work hard to get it. Josh and Haven had so much chemistry. When they finally gave into it again sparks fly. I loved their banter, too. It was hilarious at times and I loved that they kept pushing each other’s buttons.

A MUST READ and I can’t wait for the next one in this series!

Another full cast of narrators that you just have to try!

🎧 Audiobook Review 🎧

If rom-com is your guilty pleasure, then Lauren Blakely's books are your happy place!

They're sweet, cliche, predictable and entirely too OTT, but you can't stop listening, cause who doesn't love a full cast?

I'll say that I've reached my limit for this month or I'll increase my diabetics, so I'll probably go for something dark or MM next... but this series is definitely a must if you're looking for something easy and light.

The narration was exquisite!

Overall 4.5 stars
Performance 5+ stars
Story 4 stars

Lauren Blakely outdoes herself with each new audiobook she releases. This full cast recording is a feast for the ears and it makes the story truly engaging and entertaining. Jason Clarke and Emma Wilder lead this all star cast of narrators in this lovers to enemies to lovers romcom. It's no secret that Jason Clarke is one of my favorite narrators. I could probably listen to him recite a grocery list and still be happy. I really enjoyed the supporting narration, especially by Andi Arndt, Dan Bittner, Erin Mallon, and Teddy Hamilton. Characters from previous books make cameos and having a different narrator really helps to keep everyone straight.

An awesome bonus at the end of this audiobook is The Engagement Gift. To put it simply, it is HOT, HOT, HOT! It's sexy and erotic and Elena Wolfe and Teddy Hamilton will have you fanning yourself as you listen to this MFM novella. I'm really looking forward to more in this After Dark series.

*****
Overnight Service had so many of my favorite tropes! There's the delicious Enemies to Lovers and the sweet Second Chance, and even some forced proximity and workplace romance thrown in for good measure. You really can't go wrong with a Lauren Blakely romcom!

I loved Haven and Josh and how intelligent, driven, and passionate they were in their jobs and in their lives. They had fantastic chemistry and the sparks really fly with these two. I loved watching them go head to head and each giving as good as they got. Haven is a force to be reckoned with and is definitely one of my favorite Blakely heroines. One of my favorite things about Overnight Service is that there is no other man or woman drama at all. Josh and Haven only have eyes for each other and even though this is a second chance romance, I appreciated that the separation wasn't filled with meaningless hookups for either of them. I did feel that the conflict and resolution was a little too convenient/overly sweet, but the epilogue was perfect for them.

Blakely always treats her fans to lots of crossovers and easter eggs, and I loved the little nods and mentions of previous characters/businesses. A little family tree/character map would definitely come in handy though! Blakely is also the best at setting the stage for future books and I'm very excited to get a little time with Vaughn and Josh's sister, Quinn, in Special Delivery. A book for Josh's other sister, Amy, is also on the horizon and is called Asking For a Friend. Overall, this was a really sexy and entertaining read.

4 Find Me in the Dark Stars
This was one scorching enemies to lovers story, between two fierce, and driven sports agents. And as always with Lauren Blakely's books - a total blast of amazingness.
I lift a hand, reach for her face, and cup her cheek. She gasps.
“That. It means both of us are completely unaffected. In fact, I bet we’re so unaffected that if I kissed you right now, we’d probably not even care.”
I loved the rivalry between Josh and Haven, it was fun, but also really serious. And it was great to see how they really wanted to hate one another, but their feelings were just too strong. Also I enjoyed the second chance part of their romance. These two were fierce and hot together.

As always the array of friends, and family was also wonderful. It's one of the many things I love so much in Lauren's book - the friendly support system that is not afraid to tell you you're making a mistake, dummy. I can't wait for all the stories from Lauren that are coming, I just know they'll be a blast!

Overnight Service was sooo dang good! It’s a second chance, enemies to lovers trope. It’s a dual POV but mostly from the main hero’s POV. Josh and Haven are sports agents working for separate companies and in competition for many of the same athletes. Their banter was so incredibly good! They had so many well-placed zingers. I laughed a lot! I loved that there was really no crazy drama through the book. All of the supporting characters were excellent and brought so much to the story. It’s wonderfully written with a perfect pace and fun characters. This is another solid read from an always consistent author. I would absolutely recommend this.

Josh Summers gets into the spirit of his latest challenge. Haven Delilah believes that her life has to come with rules. They were an interesting pair to get to know. One reason that Haven is so interesting is what she does when it comes to rules. Our author has them in the same type of job which puts them constantly in the same space at the same time and that’s just another reason to get to know them.

Our author writes with ease. She always makes her characters so believable. It’s not hard to picture what these two are doing and thinking. Ms. Blakely makes it very easy to forget everything else and just concentrate on the scenes she’s crafted. It’s not hard to want more or to forget everything around you so that you can find out what these two are up to – especially when they both seem to have such strong personalities. The author is very sweet to her readers. Instead of giving us one Epilogue, we get two. And I can’t wait to see what else this series has in store for me.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

THIS IS MADNESS ... lmao, why is there no review of this book I finished weeks ago?!

This entire series has put a huge smile on my face!

Overnight Service was not only a fun read, but it captivated me! I was totally on board with their relationship. I wanted them to figure it out. I felt invested LOL I don’t really know why to be honest, but I genuinely wanted them to #win at this. Maybe it was because they were absolutely perfect for each other in every way. Maybe it was because it felt relatable and tangible to me. This wasn’t a romantic comedy for laughs. There was an emotional story here, it just wasn’t angsty or dark, but Josh and Haven had hurdles and real problems etc etc etc. I’m walking that dangerous line of giving away plot points now, so I’ll leave it at this … I loved this story. I love this series. I am seriously impressed with everything this author has released of late and I am super happy about that because she is ridiculously good at this rom-com business!!

Competitors, Rivals, Former lovers. This book is so hot! These two have such chemistry and so much sexual tension and frustration. Can they resist the temptation to fall back into bed? Not likely!

Josh Summers is a successful sports agent with a law background. He is sexy, charming, funny, detail-oriented, and extremely competitive.

Former Olympian, Haven Delilah is his nemesis. His former protege' and colleague is now a rival sports agent. She is smart and full of sass and attitude. She is as competitive as he is and just as stubborn. And they are now in direct opposition as they chase down the same athletes for representation.

They have a history that puts them at odds and they never really talked about it. They have witty and feisty banter, and love pushing the other's buttons. They have both been trying to follow their best steps to resistance: avoidance, antagonism, outdoing the other, killing with kindness, and getting each other out of their systems. But they keep getting pushed back into closer proximity and temptation. But they also know sleeping with the enemy can be a dangerous business.

Can they find a way to reconcile their past and co-exist in the present in order to have a chance at a peaceful future?

This is a fiery, sexy, witty, and heartfelt lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers romance. These two are so much fun! They have such great rapport, chemistry, and changing dynamics that keep it interesting. It is a male point of view book (which are my favorite...especially Lauren's unfiltered male narrators), but Haven is represented in other ways. And she also lets some other characters talk to us as well, and that made me so happy. I love this world created around sports agents and athletes. It has plenty of fun cameos (I was so excited about some of these) and some twists. It also introduces some interesting new characters like Josh's three sisters and other agents and athletes that I hope we might see again in the future.

One thing I know beyond a shadow of a doubt. You can never go wrong with a Lauren Blakely rom com. This was a sweet, sexy and fun read with wonderful characters, Josh Summers and Haven Delilah, a lovers to enemies to lovers romance if you will. Both are sports agent rivals, regularly up against each other to win the best athletes in the world. There’s just one huge problem, they can’t seen to keep their hands off each. I loved the story, told in dual POV, and weighted more on Josh’s POV, I loved his dilemmas, and there were plenty of them. He was truly adorable, I loved being in his mindset. A full five star read for me. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher. This is my honest review.

*ARC Review*

Enemies to lovers is starting to become my new favorite trope and Lauren Blakely did not disappoint with this story. Josh and Haven are sworn enemies, rivals and can’t stand each other or can they? The tension between these two oozed off the pages and I enjoyed every tense and aching moment. The sexy times were scorching hot as well. I loved seeing characters from the other books as well. It always nice to catch up. If you are looking for a well written, scorching hot enemies to lovers book I suggest checking this story out.

5 SMOOCHES!

It’s no secret that I’m a huge Lauren Blakely fan. One of her books and my reading chair is definitely my happy place. Her writing brings me so much pleasure, and it’s because her stories are so much more than simple romantic comedies or contemporary romances. Richly told love stories centered around a couple that the reader is invested in immediately, bursting with romance and pulse-pounding passion and swirled together with interesting and original plots, wonderful side characters and fun, quirky details. A Blakely novel is a not-to-be-missed reading experience for a romantic fiction fan.

Overnight Service is dubbed as an enemies-to-lovers workplace romance, but it is so much more than that! Successful sports agents at rival firms, Josh and Haven are constantly competing against each other for a lot of the same clients. At one time they worked for the same firm where Josh was Haven’s mentor, and during that time, their attraction grew, and their relationship evolved into that of lovers. Before it all fell apart, they were on the cusp of something serious.

Blakely just has a way with her heroes. While this story is told in dual points of view, the bulk of the story is from Josh’s perspective. She captures the male viewpoint and experience so vividly and genuinely. It always feels authentic, and hands-down, this is my favorite quality about Lauren Blakely’s writing. She’s known for her sexy, confident, no-nonsense, mature male leads, and let me tell you, Lauren has written some swoon-worthy heroes in her career. Josh Summers will go down as one of the swooniest. This man made my heart-race and my knees weak with how in love he was with Haven, and I enjoyed sifting through his thoughts and feelings right along with him. That’s just something that Blakely does so incredibly well. She takes readers right into the minds of her heroes, and they’re never left guessing what one of them is thinking, feeling, wanting or meaning.

Overnight Service was a fiery, passionate love story between a hotter than sin hero and his perfect counterpart. It was romantic, it was blisteringly hot, and I enjoyed every single second of Josh and Haven’s sexy second-chance romance. Five smooches from me for Overnight Service by Lauren Blakely!

Overnight Service by Lauren Blakely is sweet second chance romance between Haven and Josh, lovers-turned-enemies-turned-lovers-again. Some missed/miscommunication caused a rift between them, but you could tell they still shared some very intense feelings. Josh and Haven are both so highly competitive, it was entertaining waiting to see who would break first.

Josh is a good guy, very likeable and charming, if somewhat clueless when it came to dealing with certain things. Haven is strong and independent, not afraid to fight for what she wants in a male dominated career. Even with the way things ended with Haven and Josh, I liked that there wasn’t a lot of unnecessary drama between them. There was still a bit of back and forth, both personally and professionally, until they each admitted to themselves what they were really missing- each other.

A quick and easy read, Overnight Service will be sure to please die-hard Lauren Blakely fans!

Well, as I listen to the last couple of minutes of The Engagement gift (also included at the end of this book) I'm just about ready to listen to the whole thing again!

Lauren Blakely is just an expert at romance, every one of her books have you swooning, or giggling away at the banter between the characters, and this one is no exception.

Jason Clarke has the most gorgeous voice and his character Josh is a force to be reckoned with, but who is the person to do that? Haven that's who!

I love the fact that we have a woman, working in a 'man's world' and she's killing it, and is just as good at her job, if not better!
The full cast KILLS IT, and there are lots of cameos from previous books that pop in to say hi.

The 2nd book included in this is a short novella The Engagement Gift, and Holy Steaming Panties Batman! This one was hot AF, so if you like sweet and nice, listen to the first story and stop right there, but if you like a little spice with your audio, strap yourself in for some steamy times!!

overnight service has a ex-lovers/enemies to lovers situation going on and i liked it. josh and haven are rival sports agents and they decided to duke it out with a bet. on top of the fact that they used to date before, their attraction to each other was obvious and palpable, and it grows every time they meet. josh and haven were amazing characters. headstrong, never backing down but each secretly thinking for the other person. although they don't say it, they show it.

Second chance/friends/enemies to lovers in all its goodness. Haven and Josh were so hot together. I loved this book. They hooked up a year before and because of a misunderstanding and miscommunication, they had a falling out and thus became enemies. It was so nice watching them find each other again. The chemistry and attraction was always there no matter how hard they tried to fight it. I also loved the little glimpses into Vaughn’s (I can’t wait til his story) and Ford’s lives. It was a nice little treat. Great story, Ms. Blakely has done it again and I can’t wait to read what is coming next.

I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

You’ve heard the saying “been there, done that”, seems to have no affect on Josh Summers though, sure he had a brief fling with Haven Delilah, they’re fierce rivals, very competitive....well they are if you forget about his lusting and his steamy fantasy showers Josh has been having for Haven.
And now they can’t help repeating their earlier bedroom escapades, what a calamity,
as Josh and Haven meet up regularly to win world class athletes as they’re both sports agents, it’s hard to keep it professional though as they can’t their hands to themselves.
This is a great lovers-enemies-lovers story. Lots of great bantering and terrific characters.
I loved it. 5 star read from me!

Another incredible, hot, steamy and fun read by Lauren Blakely.

It's a second chance romance that focuses on two business rival Josh and Haven. These two had a quick fling, but when things fell apart, they rival between the two only became even more insane. They are sports agents, so it is kind of impossible to avoid one another when they are literally working alongside or with or against each other and are constantly competing against each other and stealing clients... The sexual tension between the two never really fell away, it only heightens and they can't seem to keep themselves apart, they can't seem to keep their hands to themselves. The chemistry and burning desire is just too strong.

Haven is a sassy, fun, smart and driven heroine, she loves the work she does and works hard. She knows how to stand up for herself.

Josh is an asshole but he was charming and fun and also driven and loves a good competition, which you will be able to tell once you read this book.

I loved both these main characters, they were characters I had some knowledge of from Instant Gratification. In that book, you can see the heat between the two of them from the start and it never differs in this book. It only heightens. The chemistry is off the charts. Their witty banter and sexual tension are thick and you can feel the build-up. The push and pull between these two only make it that much more intense.

I love how Lauren weaves all these characters into all her story, so you get an idea of who these characters are.

Once again, Lauren delivers a HOT as hell, intense, fun, and sexy rom-com that will have you laughing and swooning all at once.

5 Stars!

May the best man…or woman win…

And when it’s a competition between ex-lovers who are bitter rivals in the sports agent world, it’s bound to get down and dirty and then some…because like the old adage says, ‘there’s a thin line between love and hate’ and boy do Josh and Haven know how to push each other’s buttons, hoping to throw one another off balance and get a reaction from them that doesn’t paint the best picture for potential clients.

Hate sex has never been hotter in Lauren Blakely’s newest release, Overnight Success, and while these two share an unresolved past, their present illustrates exactly why they got together in the first place and why all of their current interactions are bound to, once again, ignite their desire for each other, forcing them to decide if what they truly feel for one another is worth putting their respective careers in second place.

Anytime Lauren Blakely gives readers her hero’s perspective, it’s also an adventure diving inside his head and witnessing him work through things, attempting to understand where he went wrong, what choices he shouldn’t/shouldn’t make and what happens when he’s thinking more about winning her than acquiring a new client. And while Josh has an arrogance to him, he also knows how worthy of an opponent Haven is and just how much she makes his body hum with approval for this sexy and snarky woman.

This once lovers then enemies and now lovers again includes Blakely’s signature banter, sizzling chemistry, and two intelligent and feisty main characters who give as good as they get, which makes Josh and Haven’s story a sexy, steamy, and humorous romcom.

Lauren Blakely has done it again. I love a good second chance romance, and when you add in that this was a lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers/competitors story, well let's just say I was definitely eager to get my hands on this book. This book is smart, sassy and sexy-and full of heart at the same time.

I loved getting to know Haven in this book. She's smart, sassy and so driven. She knows what she wants and she's not afraid to work for it. Haven is someone I'd love to have in my inner circle, cheering me on or negotiating deals.

Josh? Well, I'm keeping him. He's mine, hatred of personal emails and all. I fell for him the moment this book started, because come on, who doesn't love a guy who isn't afraid to make good on a bet he lost? I'll let you read to see what he had to do, but it definitely made me grin. I loved his competitive side as well.

These two together though? Seriously, the sparks just fly off the page when you're reading. The banter between them and sexual tension? I loved it! Their first kiss was fabulous (I'm a sucker for a good first kiss) and their sexy times were definitely hot. Watching them outside of the bedroom was equally exciting; negotiations and challenges were definitely their foreplay. I absolutely loved them.

I believed in these characters and how their relationship played out. I loved, loved, loved getting to see old friends in this book-but don't worry, it is a standalone. The writing here just popped and these characters came to life for me. I would love to be a part of their inner circle.

Books like Overnight Service are why Lauren Blakely is my favorite author. This book is hot and sexy, full of witty banter and definitely had me swooning. I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it.

Haven Delilah and Josh Summers are fierce rivals representing the best of the best in sports. Each come at the field from different angles, Josh can pick apart a contract better than anyone else, working to get his clients the best deals possible. Haven understands what athletes need, having been an Olympic champion herself. Competing for the same clients has always worked this pair up, though they find themselves heating it up between the sheets as well.

As they work to sign the same athletes, they have to decide how far they are willing to go to win, and just what is it to win in this game?

I loved the competitive edge between these two. Though the competition is also what keeps their rivalry brewing, it is also what pulls them together. They have worked together for some time, and their history is part of what really drives them to compete. Each character is strong in their own right. Haven’s determination to succeed in a male dominated field means she doesn’t take any advancement for granted and works twice as hard to get it. Josh has his own moral compass for working with clients that causes some friction as well. He knows he won’t like every client, but when their personalities don’t mesh he has a hard time following through.

This is a steamy, rivals to lovers storyline that moves at a great pace. I loved watching their differing ways of wooing the client and could see the client choosing either as a result. Josh’s penchant for side bets causes several humorous situations as he has to pay up on lost bets. The group of people surrounding these two add a lot of interest to the story -- athletes, fellow agents, and some familiar characters as well.

Lauren Blakely delivers all kinds of sexy goodness with Overnight Service. The story of Haven and Josh and the fierce rivalry they have with one another by day and the overpowering attraction they can't seem to ignore by night provides one intense kind of love/hate relationship. Their work ethic is to be admired as these two competing sports agents vie for clients almost daily. And with a past that includes a very passionate two weeks over a year ago, I wasn't sure if their inner mantras to keep things above-board would ever really stick.

I mean, seriously, the electricity is beyond palpable when they are in a room together. Even I could feel it just from the pages of my ereader! Josh and Haven can't keep their eyes off one another, always trying their hardest to keep things professional. Add a few well-meaning friends and one very determined wife of a coveted tennis star and her plans for a insanely competitive weekend, and you've got the recipe for more sexy trysts, with both Josh and Haven throwing caution and good sense to the wind.

But beneath all of the heat Blakely's main couples can't seem to extinguish is the wonderful tenderness that will undoubtedly show up just when things get a bit too unsteady and that is what keeps me invested in these stories. It's so much more than just a great romp in the hay. It's the emotions that are felt deep down and how both Josh and Haven truly feel about the other. The mutual respect and the notion that maybe you truly can have it all. You honestly cannot get much better than that.

I continue to implore readers to find out just why I love this Author and her words so much. And Overnight Service is the one of the best reasons why. Grab this well-written and simply lovely 5 star read and find out for yourself.

What a fun and flirty enemies to romance story! Josh and Haven are fierce rivals as sports agents. He has a background in Law, she was an Olympian athlete who knows a thing or two about staying focused on what you want. At one point they worked for the same firm, but things got complicated, and feelings came into play. So I suppose you can also rate this as a second chance romance too.

I loved the way Josh's mind thinks. He is not that full of himself that he can't take a good joke. And he gave as good as he got too with Haven and well as his siblings and friends. He is that guy you want as your best bud. Haven was just as dedicated to her job as Josh, but she had to go one step more as she was in a male dominated world. She could hold her own, as she was feisty and gutsy making sure she won over her deals. But what I loved most about them was deep down, they both just couldn't get enough of each other and it showed in their feelings. The banter was amazing, which is true of Blakely's style, and the epilogue gives you a contented and satisfied feel. Great addition to this series.

Haven and Josh are not friends. They are rivals, they have a history and an attraction that they aren't particularly good at ignoring.

And, then they stop ignoring it...while thinking that they probably should...but don't want to. And, they have good reasons for thinking that they shouldn't pursue a relationship with one another.

I think that was what I enjoyed most about this story. There are so many enemies to lovers and rivals to lovers stories that I find myself unable to believe the reason that they don't like one another or can't be together. The reasons seem contrived, or like one conversation would solve the whole problem, quickly.

This one was actually believable and the story of Haven and Josh figuring out how to navigate the mess of their life and come up with a way to actually be together was not only sexy but also a story that I felt drawn into...I think because I believed in it.

As always with a Lauren Blakely title, I liked the characters, and the story, and the writing was perfection.

I enjoyed and recommend this title.

Again I listened to this on audio and it delivered, finishing out the .Always Satisfied series. It wasn't as cute as Never Have I Ever, which is my pick of the series. It was still cute, funny and a solid enemies to lovers story.

There was angst but it was more grown up angst; less miscommunication, more actual stuff happening angst that created the enemies situation.

This series is very much characterised by the couples being very driven in their work, very career-focussed so if that's your jam you'll probably enjoy these books. That was particularly the case with Josh and Haven, both sports agents competing for the same clients, but with history. Neither has gotten over the other and it was sweet watching them come back together.

I've said it before, this series feels a bit recycled but the books are an easy read, especially on audio and Lauren Blakely does steam really, really well!

Absolutely loved this story it was an Enemies to Lovers tale! This is Josh and Haven’s book they are both sports agents and always competing against each other for clients, he steals hers and she steals his they are truly rivals. They had a fling and since it crumbled they are at each other’s throats and want nothing to do with each other. However they are in the same business making it impossible to avoid each other all the time. It’s a complete story and was great the author does an amazing job of making the read want more and smile and laugh while rooting for the characters. Loved this story!
